Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 686 Different treatment

Teacher Cynthia took a while to come to terms with what she was witnessing.

This was far beyond their level.

Sure, she could put Kyle in sixth grade, but that wouldn’t be fair to him.

In the Mundus Seeker School, one’s talent and hard work were valued most.

Progressing faster and being stronger were indicators of these things.

Making Kyle compete with Primals who were 700 years older than him would be beyond unfair, and their organization prided itself on its fairness.

They were a good school!

Crushers and Sages who graduated from this school were highly sought after due to their fairness-oriented mindsets, which had been fostered by the school over millennia.

If Teacher Cynthia wanted to get one of her Students into the Array of Stars, she would need to send Kyle to the eighth grade, but that would damage the other Students’ mindsets.

It was simply not worth it.

Eventually, Teacher Cynthia accepted reality.

“I’m sorry, but you’re simply too outstanding,” she said.

Kyle’s brows rose. ‘Oh? That was quick!’

“Would you be willing to talk about your experiences with a couple of the Students before leaving? It might help them,” she asked.

Kyle shrugged. “Sure, but I’m not sure what to talk about.”

“Just tell them how you’ve been training and what you’ve been doing. That’s enough.”

“Sure, why not?” Kyle asked.

“Thank you,” Teacher Cynthia said with a smile.

Afterwards, Teacher Cynthia brought Kyle to the actual school, which actually looked just like a very big school.

For the time being, Kyle was left alone since Teacher Cynthia needed to find a good moment to gather the classes.

A couple of days later, Kyle stood in front of the class in first grade.

Surprisingly, the Students all sat in a lecture hall, while Kyle stood at the front.

After Teacher Cynthia introduced Kyle, the Students started to talk amongst each other.

How could a Primal progress this quickly?!

Afterwards, Kyle just started to narrate his training.

“What did you pay attention to while swinging your weapon?” one of the Students asked.

“Nothing, really,” Kyle said. “I just swung.”

“What Cluster did you focus on during your training?” another Student asked.

“None,” Kyle answered. “I was just swinging.”

“What was the effect of every set of swings on your first Cluster?”

“No idea,” Kyle said. “As I’ve said, I didn’t pay attention. I didn’t even look at my Clusters.”

“Then, why did you just swing your weapon?” another Student asked. “You’re supposed to do what feels right to unlock Clusters, right?” Kyle asked.

Several of the Students nodded.

“There you go. I just did what felt right,” Kyle said.

Kyle was bombarded by questions, and he answered all of them.

Most of the Students were confused by the way Kyle was training, but some of them could also see where he was coming from.

Yeah, they were supposed to do what felt right, and he did just that.

Why not?

However, was it truly that easy?

Naturally, every Primal wanted to unlock Clusters, and they were eager to unlock them.

It was only normal to check the progress on the Clusters from time to time.

Yet, checking the progress could also pull someone out of their training, and they might even change their training for faster progress.

Not looking at one’s Clusters was unusual.

Every Primal was working towards something, and they wanted to witness their progress.

It was like doing a job and looking at the payment received from the job.

Meanwhile, Kyle had essentially been just working, not looking at his bank account even once.

It was strange, but maybe that was why he was so fast?

Sadly, emulating that mindset was harder said than done.

It was like going to the gym regularly and never looking at one’s own body or strength.

Even more, Kyle’s method might not even work for everyone.

Everyone had their own way to unlock Clusters, after all.

After a couple of hours of answering questions, Kyle went to the next grade.

The same procedure happened again, and he went to the next grade.

Kyle held a lecture in front of grades one through six, and when he was finally done, Teacher Cynthia escorted him out of the school.

“Thank you so much for your help,” she said.

“No problem,” Kyle answered.

“Is there anything specific you wish for your reward?” she asked.

Kyle furrowed his brows in thought.

“Well, it might be a bit much,” he said.

“Oh? What is it?” she asked.

“If it’s too much, it’s fine if you refuse,” Kyle said. “There’s this one thing I have my eye on, but I can’t afford it with my Contribution Points.”

Teacher Cynthia waited for Kyle to ask.

“It’s called Law Comprehension for the Law of Center for people talented in the Law of Soul. You know that thing?” Kyle asked.

Teacher Cynthia raised an eyebrow.

Then, she summoned a device that looked like a helmet with a bunch of wires attached to it. “Does it look like this?”

Kyle’s eyes widened when he saw it.

“Yeah, that’s how it looks on the shop page!” he said.

Teacher Cynthia just looked at Kyle with skepticism.

“Too much?” Kyle asked, looking at Teacher Cynthia nervously.

“Quite the opposite,” she answered.

“Every Core Student has one of these in their room.”

Kyle blinked a couple of times. “Really?”

“Yes,” Cynthia confirmed. “Are these not common in the Array of Stars?”

“No, they’re super expensive,” Kyle said.

“That’s surprising,” Teacher Cynthia said. “They’re not expensive. I can hand this one to you without any problems.”

“Wow, thank you!” Kyle said as he put the helmet into his Soul Space.

“You’re talented in Soul Laws?” she asked.

Kyle nodded. “Body and Soul.”

“What about your mind?” she asked as she summoned a thick book.

Kyle looked at the book. “What’s that?”

“The same thing you’ve received for your Center but for your mind.”

Kyle’s eyes widened.

“May I take a look?” he asked.

Cynthia gave Kyle the book, and he opened the first page.

The warnings were very similar to the warning he had seen after clicking on the link.

“Will this book vanish after using it?” Kyle asked.

Cynthia’s brows rose. “No, it’s just a regular book. I can give it to you. You may do whatever you want with it.”

Kyle carefully put the book away.

What the fuck?!

How much were these two things in the Array of Stars?!

5,000 Contribution Points?!

Meanwhile, Teacher Cynthia was just handing them to Kyle.

“I… I don’t know what to say,” Kyle said. “That’s… a lot!”

“Are you sure you don’t want anything else?” Teacher Cynthia asked.

“No, this is more than enough!” Kyle quickly answered.

“Well, if you say so,” Teacher Cynthia said with a smile. “Don’t regret not asking for more.”

“I won’t,” Kyle said as he thanked Teacher Cynthia some more.

“With that said,” Teacher Cynthia said, “thank you for helping our Students, and I wish you good luck in your future with the Array of Stars.”

“Thank you again!” Kyle said. “I hope everything works out here as well.”

The two of them said their goodbyes, and Kyle went back to the branch of the Array of Stars.

As soon as he got there, he opened the shop.

‘Refund!’ he thought as he clicked the refund button.

Since Kyle had never used it, he could just refund it.

Then, he looked at the book and the helmets he had received. ‘Bro! Assistant was right!’

‘Core Disciples in Primary Organizations are treated way better than Outer Disciples in the Array of Stars!’

‘They just hand these out like flyers!’
