Chapter 681 Law of Aspects
The body, the Center, the mind, and the Soul.
These four Aspects of Power allowed a Seeker to comprehend Laws and to become stronger.
While Theodor didn’t know a lot about Laws, his trial still showed the importance of all four Aspects when it came to comprehending Laws.
The Soul allowed someone to sense all kinds of Energy much more clearly. Additionally, it gave the Seeker the ability to infuse their surroundings with their will.
Before Kyle had comprehended the Law of Soul, he hadn’t been able to sense the movements of Biological Energy inside another organism.
He had only been able to anticipate their attacks based on how they moved their bodies.
Many Seekers chased after the four Laws related to the Aspects of Power.
The reason for that was simple.
Every Aspect contributed to comprehending Laws, and understanding any of these Laws would help with understanding other Laws.
With a stronger body, one could come closer to dangerous Elements. One would be able to see more details in a painting when looking at it from up close.
A stronger mind made it easier to comprehend difficult concepts.
A stronger Center allowed for faster Energy regeneration while also increasing the maximum amount of Energy one could store.
A Soul allowed someone to sense the concepts much more clearly.
Kyle had always been very talented when it came to his Soul. Even the strict Theodor had been surprised by his talent regarding his Soul.
‘The Law of Soul, huh?’ Kyle thought. ‘It’s just a Level Two Law, but it’s already so powerful.’
‘It’s like a multiplier on my power. I don’t even need to include it in a Complex Law.’
‘And yet, this still doesn’t feel like what I’ve been chasing.’
‘I’ve been trying to comprehend something. I don’t know what I’m trying to comprehend, but the Law of Soul just doesn’t seem correct.’
Kyle thought back to his training in his home gym.
As he had kept swinging, his perception had changed more and more.
During his swings, he hadn’t consciously made many decisions. Everything had been up to his instincts, and his instincts had guided him.
In the Primal Realm, everyone had these kinds of instincts, but listening to them wasn’t always so easy.
“You know the Law of Soul?” Swamp Dragon asked with surprise.
“Yep,” Kyle answered. “It makes the Energy in the surroundings much clearer.”
“Is that how you managed to do all of these things?” Swamp Dragon asked.
Kyle nodded. “I see the beast’s Biological Energy move to their arm, and I know that they are going to strike with that arm. I see the dense Biological Energy moving between their Beast Core and their mind, and I know where their Energy Pathways are.”
Swamp Dragon took a deep breath of nothing since he was in space currently.
“That sounds way too powerful for a Level Two Law,” he said.
Kyle shrugged. “Being able to see stuff is cool, but if I don’t have the ability to act on it, what’s the point? Without a lot of power, this wouldn’t make a lot of difference. In a way, it just allows me to control my existing power better.”
“Hey, I have a question,” Manny said.
The other two looked over.
“What did you do to comprehend the Law of Soul?” Manny asked. “I’ve been trying to comprehend it for a while since it would make my illusions much stronger, but I can barely make any progress.”
Kyle considered the question for a short moment.
Due to his first impression, Kyle still wasn’t the biggest fan of Manny, but Manny was now part of their team, and he hadn’t pulled another prank.
“I just swung my hammer,” Kyle said. “I didn’t try to think about anything and just kept swinging. I entered a sort of rhythm, and my perception slowly changed.”
“You didn’t think about anything?” Manny asked. “Then, how could you comprehend a Law?”
“Feeling,” Kyle said with a shrug. “I just do what feels right.”
Manny raised an eyebrow. “You can comprehend a Law by feeling?”
“Why not?” Kyle asked. “It’s not the first time I did that.”
“How does that work?” Manny asked.
That question was surprisingly hard to answer.
“I don’t really know,” Kyle said. “I do stuff, and by doing stuff, I get a feeling for doing stuff. Like, imagine you are someone who operates different kinds of Formation Arrays. You don’t know how all of them work, but you can look at their lines while operating them.”
“After working with enough Formation Arrays, you could probably tell what a new Formation Array would roughly do. You don’t know how it works, but you can somewhat anticipate what will happen.”
Manny scratched the side of his head. “Yes, that would work, but that would be all backwards. You usually get a feeling for something after you know how it works. Wouldn’t it be faster to first learn about Formation Arrays before operating them? In your example, you would still need to study Formation Arrays after getting a feeling for them. You would have to learn them twice, essentially. “
“Basically, yeah,” Kyle said.
“Then, why should I try to comprehend things with feelings?” Manny asked.
“I don’t know why you should,” Kyle said. “You asked me how I comprehended the Law of Soul, and I told you.”
Manny just furrowed his brows.
He really wasn’t the biggest fan of this method of comprehension.
It sounded inefficient and slow.
“Was that also how you comprehended your Complex Law?” Manny asked.
“Oh, no!” Kyle answered. “That was all brain.”
“Then, why did you comprehend the Law of Soul so weirdly?” Manny asked.
“I never aimed for the Law of Soul,” Kyle said. “It just appeared on its own.”
Swamp Dragon was quite surprised when he heard that.
Comprehending a Level Two Law by accident?
He looked over at Manny.
Surprisingly, Manny didn’t seem shocked.
Instead, he seemed like he had remembered something.
“That’s also how I comprehended the Law of Mind,” Manny said. “One day, it just randomly appeared.”
“How did that happen?” Kyle asked.
“I was focusing on the Law of Yin-Light, and I was having a lot of trouble. I pushed myself more and more, and I refused to go out for a True Battle. Instead, I just kept going, essentially banging my head against the Law. Then, at some point, it just popped into existence, and I comprehended the Law of Yin-Light just a bit later.”
“Huh,” Kyle uttered, “I did that a couple of times as well, but I never got the Law of Mind.”
“Me neither,” Swamp Dragon said, “but I got the Law of Center.”
“When?” Kyle asked.
“When I thought you were dead,” Swamp Dragon said. “I focused more on my training, and I almost died several times. At some point, the Law of Center just appeared.”
“That’s funny,” Kyle said without laughing. “We all got different Laws regarding our Aspects of Power.”
“I wonder, what would happen if you got all four and fused them?” Kyle asked.
“You don’t know?” Manny asked in surprise.
“Know what?” Kyle asked.
“Well, it’s kind of obvious,” Manny said. “Think about it. The Primal Realm is all about the body. The Compression Realm is all about the Center. The Wisdom Fire Realm is all about the mind, and the Domain Realm is all about the Soul.”
“What’s the next Realm called?”
“Oh,” Kyle said. “The Fusion Realm.”
“Yeah,” Manny answered. “Fusing all of these things is what you do in the Fusion Realm.”
“As far as I know, combining these four Laws is not possible until then. How would that even look like? Would your brain turn into muscle? Would your body turn into brain?”
“From what I know, the Fusion Realm is about preparing yourself to become an Immortal. You’re essentially recreating yourself with all of the insights you’ve gained in the previous Realms.”
“Fusing everything would turn you into an Immortal, and I don’t think that’s possible in our current Realm.”
