Stealing Spree

Chapter 2632 - 2632: We're jealous

Surprisingly enough, I’d managed to get through the morning classes without too much trouble. Or rather, trouble that normal students would have.

During each period, one or two of my girls would lock me in next to them to the point that they would even switch seats to give way for each other conveniently.

At first, Satsuki pretended to have forgotten her textbook, even if it wasn’t necessary for our lesson. After all, Shio had already covered up everything we needed for the final exams. Her lessons were only short reviews before letting us use the remaining time to work on our booth for the Cultural Festival.

Aya joined in halfway through and I ended up doting on both of them, which still drew envious stares from the boys. An-rin, who was seated on Satsuki’s right, was also secretly glaring at me while silently muttering ‘perv lord’.

The following period, Nami and Hina sandwiched me. To accomplish that, they asked Takishima to switch seats with me while Nami moved to her seat. Saki also couldn’t help but sneakily turn around every time she found a chance.

Next, when we went to the lab for our Science Class, Hana got Mio to help her flank me as they seated me at the back row.

Unfortunately for them, we got too busy with the task set by our teacher to even play around.

At the very least, I had them stay behind with me, taking advantage of the transition to the 4th period. Hana interrogated me about the sleepover, while Mio acted a little sulky after hearing about how I got tangled with Kushii and An-rin.

Well, she’s quite envious of them to be able to spend the night with me. But when I asked her if she wanted to come home with me, the girl couldn’t answer right away. After all, the best she could ask her parents was to stay until late at night, just like when we went to have a group study at Satsuki’s house.

After that, I spent the 4th period with Chii. I asked Sakuma to switch seats with me and then Shimura voluntarily moved to his seat as she’s also looking forward to having me next to her.

Fukuda, who was seated directly behind Shimura’s seat, kept on clicking his tongue and grunting angrily.

I thought he would at least kick my seat but the guy seemed well-behaved. Or maybe he chickened out? I mean… my threat back at the camping trip must’ve still been lingering in his head.

Who were they again? His older sister and his childhood friend who attend another school? I couldn’t remember clearly.

I’ll ask Hino about them later, just to see Fukuda’s face twist.

By midday, the school buzzed with its lively vibe. The moment the bell rang signaling the lunch break, students rushed out of the classrooms to get to the cafeteria before it filled up.

The girls went ahead to the empty clubroom where we usually gather for lunch while I stepped out of our classroom and walked towards Class 3, picking up Maaya and Misaki.

Misaki, who could only use the phone I bought for her at school, sent me a message.

It wasn’t a request or anything. She’s simply asking me if they should stay behind in the classroom and wait for me.

And as I imagined her slowly typing that message out, considering she never truly had one before, I ended up promising to pick them up.

Mhm. It was my decision to dote on her. Or so that was my initial plan.

But as we arrived at the second floor of the Club Building, Maaya pulled me in the direction of her Game Club clubroom with Misaki innocently following behind us.

Her reason? Most likely to steal some time alone with me.

And that’s my current situation.

As the door closed behind us, the innocent girl couldn’t help but revel at the interior of the clubroom. On the other hand, Maaya, who was acting like she was upset at me over something, tightly held onto my wrist.

“What’s wrong?” I asked as I watched Misaki’s eyes sparkle at the different board games on display in the clubroom’s shelves.

“Nothing.” Maaya succinctly answered without looking up at me.

We stood near the door like guardians watching over our kid in the form of Misaki.

“Let’s see. It’s not ‘nothing’. You’re not being honest with me again, Maaya. Should I…”

As I trailed my voice there, I turned my body slightly before gently rubbing the back of my fingers on her cheek.

Maaya raised her gaze, her composed demeanor faltering as a faint blush crept up her cheeks.

She tightened her hold on my wrist before saying, “Don’t try to charm me, shameless guy. I’m already charmed by you. I’m just… I don’t know. I don’t want to say I’m jealous.”

“Then let’s say you’re not. The others are waiting in that clubroom, you know?”

“… I know. But.”

“Alright. I get it. My not-jealous Maaya wanted to be pampered, right?”

Instead of answering me, the girl turned her face away.

And then, the innocent girl who finished browsing the clubroom’s shelves spun around. Her eyes widened with excitement.

“Ruki-kun, Maaya-sama, what are you two doing?” She tilted her head and put a hand to cover her forehead, making her look more innocently adorable.

Then, she clapped her hands, as if she had understood what was happening. “Oh! I’m sorry, Ruki. Maaya-sama saw you leaving the science lab with Sister Hana and Mio earlier. She was in a bad mood ever since then. That’s why… I messaged you to pick us up.”

As the girl finished her explanation, Maaya huffed before pulling me by my collar. “Ugh. Now she spilled it. Tell me, shameless guy. It’s not wrong to feel jealous, right? Last night… you…”

Without finishing her sentence, the girl gradually loosened her hold on my collar as her arm looped to the back of my neck, pulling my head down.

Misaki, perhaps not wanting to be left out, jumped to my side and pressed herself on me. “Can I be jealous too, Ruki? I heard about the sleepover!”

Without hesitation, I pushed my head, taking Maaya’s lips before turning to Misaki. “Of course, you can be jealous. What does my Misaki want to do about it?”

“Uhm… Kiss me too?” She cutely tilted her head again, making me lose my restraint for a moment.

Misaki’s innocent charm was like a sneak attack, disarming in its simplicity, and paired with Maaya’s barely-contained jealousy, they became a dangerous combo.

I leaned down, pressing her lips on hers, kissing her gently but lingering just enough to make her cheeks flush a soft pink.

Her eyes sparkled with delight and affection, like I’d just surprised her with her favorite gift.

Maaya’s grip on my wrist tightened as she turned my head back to her, her lips pursing into a pout that was more adorable than she probably intended.

“Tch, you’re too good at this, shameless guy. Don’t focus on Misa.” She clicked her tongue before licking her lips, “I hate it when you keep making us all feel special when you’re probably just loving the attention.”

I grinned as I pulled my arm out of her hold before enclosing it around her waist. “I do love the attention. But you know why I want to make you feel special.”

“Why?”

“Oh? I see. My Maaya only wanted to hear me say those magic words.” As my grin stretched further, I gave her a quick peck before whispering directly into her ear, “I love you.”

The girl instantly shivered from being tickled by my breath but her ears noticeably reddened.

A moment later, I turned to Misaki again, doing the same thing to her. MyVirtualLibraryEmpire(*)hoststheoriginal.

“I love you too, Ruki!” Ending that with a sweet giggle, the girl nestled close to my neck as her arms wrapped around my waist.

Meanwhile, Maaya cupped my cheek and yanked my head back to her. While looking annoyed and delighted at the same time, she captured my lips with her tongue wriggling inside and entangling with mine.

With that deep of a kiss, we only separated after she ran out of breath. But Misaki was already waiting for her turn, giving me only a short reprieve to take in a deep breath before locking our lips together.

Once our lips separated, Maaya bumped her forehead with mine, “Shameless guy, you owe me for making me… ugh, feel like this. Watching you leave that room Hana and Mio, earlier, and hearing about that sleepover last night? It’s unfair, Ruki. Nee-sama, Misa, and I also want to do that with you.”

“Alright. Let’s have a sleepover in the future, alright? But you have to help me ask Misaki’s parents for permission.”

“That’s easy.” Maaya confidently said before giving the innocent girl with sparkling eyes a thumbs-up.

“Sleepover with Ruki? I can’t wait!”

I can’t wait too. But I don’t know when it will happen. After all, we have to prepare for it on top of having to sneak Misaki away. We’ll be in trouble if her parents find out about me. Maybe I should introduce myself to them first?
