Chapter 430 - 430: New Age.
Silva flew through the sky in his full dragon form, he enjoyed the wind as it ran over his body. For the first time in a very long while, he was flying free, without the constant pressure of something going wrong.
He flew in the direction of the elven empire. As soon as he entered their air space, the emperor was notified of his presence.
Silva had barely reached the capital when everyone was already standing at the castle waiting for him. He felt an overwhelming sense of happiness as he saw them, and a crippling sense of sadness because he might have to leave them again.
He landed right before the castle and turned back to his human form.
“Daddy,” Elsa called out, running to Silva. She jumped high and Silva caught her in a hug. She wrapped her hands around him tightly and snuggled her head into his chest.
Silva walked to meet the others while carrying Elsa. Lily looked at him with an expressionless face for a few seconds, and then she broke into a soft smile.
“You came back,” she said.
“I had a deal with you, of course I would come back,” Silva said.
“You weren’t gone for long, Silva, seems you missed us so much you rushed back,” Quin said.
“I actually missed you all, there’s a lot to talk about,” Silva said.
Silva stood there, his eyes scanning the people that actually mattered to him, in a world that he had fought tooth and nail to keep alive.
And now, finally it was safe. Yet it wasn’t free to him yet, he knew there was more. He had become a slave to the concept of freedom, and he wasn’t allowing that to stop. He was going all the way, even if it meant beyond this world, to the point where he had to fight everything.
He looked up, his gaze lingering. He recalled when he came here not long ago, the changes that had occurred, how he became the dark dragon that generally changed this world.
[….]
Ophelia stood before Order like before, but this time, there was a smug look on her face, a look of defiance, as though she had won.
Order looked at that face, and for some reason, he found it amusing to no end. She believed that she had won. Won? Against him, Order, the one that stood above everything.
There was no way she could have won, that would go against the very construct of Order. But her actions with Silva did prove to be very entertaining and very provocative.
“You played a solid game, Ophelia, your tricks were not weak, I’ll give you that. But do you really believe that the entire game has come to an end?
I am Order, and I set in motion everything that happens. And as for Silva, this is only the beginning of the game that he has to play.
No more simple paths, no more holding back. He is now considered a threat that must be destroyed. And starting that is Ragna, who is coming after him.
Do you really believe that your small planet Argo can withstand the wrath of the full weeping angel army?
Silva might be capable of taking down higher Angels, but can he really stop hundreds of thousands, millions, and billions of them from invading the home that he so dearly loves?
If he stays on Argon for too long, it will be destroyed by Ragna. Ragna is not the kind of being to show mercy, he is a primordial being.
That work of yours is nothing more than a small pebble for him to step on. So what’s it going to be? How will you handle the situation with your dark dragon? Because despite the strength that he has, he is far too incapable of handling someone like Ragna,” Order stated.
Ophelia frowned, she clenched her fist tight and looked at Order.
“Then allow me to talk to Silva, let me guide him a little. He needs the help, please,” Ophelia said.
“Hmm, now why should I do that? That would be breaking Order as it stands, to help the one person that I want dead?” Order asked.
“Because I have an offer for you. I will give you a clue to what you want to know,” Ophelia said.
“Ohhh? You would be willing to offer a clue for Silva? You must really be putting all your cards on this dark dragon.
Then fine, I’ll play this game with you. How far can this dragon of yours go? The abyss, the cosmos, new worlds, new dimensions.
What exactly will he do to get stronger? Oh, and the best part of it all is the fact that he can’t bring all his family along.
I see how much he wants to make sure that his family is safe. But some of them can’t follow him through the rigorous world beyond.
How is this dark dragon going to handle all of it? How will he escape the never-ending chase of Ragna? How will he escape Order and all the gods that hate his existence?
Your little project has a lot of work to do now, and I hope that you’ll be able to coach him in it all,” Order said.
“I’ll win, Order. Me and Silva, we’ll win this game against you,” she said and walked away.
Now that she had the permission to see Silva, she headed straight out and teleported. A massive beam of light shined down, pulling the attention of everyone around.
Had the war not ended? Was there something more? They were all on guard, but Riven wasn’t, because he could tell from the light that this was divine energy, and whatever was inside there was not here to attack.
The light finally died down and a beauty beyond comprehension stood there, Ophelia, the goddess of Argon. This was the first time in eons that she had appeared before mortals and beings of her world, a moment that would be recorded forever in the history of Argon.
