“Part of being a Great Spirit, and now a Goddess, is that these special eyes remain. You speak of this taking an eternity, yet with the power you have harbored and unleashed, you could truly achieve it if you pour your mind and heart into the effort,” Armageddon explained.
“…Really?” I asked, my voice trembling with fragile hope. “What method do you mean, Armageddon? Can my Infinite Mana become something even greater? If I push too far, my soul will shatter. I can never truly go all out.”
“That is true. Your soul remains your greatest limiter,” Armageddon admitted. “But you have nurtured and strengthened it greatly. You should be capable of far more now. Your body, too, is extraordinary. In truth, you have grown immensely strong in these short years—an astonishing pace. Countless abilities within you synergize, constantly amplifying your power. Yet to face the gods, you must unite all of it and multiply that strength a thousandfold.”
“So I need to become a thousand times stronger?” I whispered, dread knotting in my chest. “That feels impossible…”
“Your greatest limiter is yourself,” Armageddon said firmly. “If I possessed your power… oh, the things I would accomplish.” She laughed softly, a sound edged with longing. “Perhaps it is because I know exactly what to do with it.”
“Stop acting like you understand everything! If you won’t help her, then be quiet!” Ignatius snapped, flames flickering in his tone.
“No, Ignatius. She truly wishes to help. I sense it within her Spiritual Body,” Yggdra interjected calmly.
“What?!” Beelzebub glared at the towering insect. Then his gaze softened. “Now that I look closer, you are quite beautiful.”
“Huh? She’s an ant!” Ignatius sputtered. “Is this because you’re a bug too?”
“Silence! It has nothing to do with me being an Insectoid Demon!” Beelzebub retorted, his cheeks flushing with indignation. “That’s racist!”
Ignoring the bickering of my spirits, I fixed my attention on Armageddon. “What do you mean?” I asked quietly.
“I can lend my knowledge to maximize your growth,” she replied. “By pushing your Endless Mana and Absolute Body to their utmost limits. Your soul will grow many times stronger in time. With Endless Mana—the source of all magic, capable of creating any element or matter—you could become the strongest being to ever exist.”
“I have considered that possibility many times,” I confessed with a heavy sigh. “But this power is dangerous. I restrain it deliberately. If I let others depend on it too heavily, I hinder their own growth. It is complicated.”
“It does seem so,” she acknowledged with a nod. “But I care little for such concerns. You have proven you are willing to defy the gods. Our goals align deeply. Yes… we share much in common.”
“Exactly,” I said, hope rising again. “Will you cooperate, then?”
“Ah… I have conditions,” she replied, her voice turning sharp. “I sense incredible power within you. I could accelerate your growth hundreds of times over. But I demand something in return.”
“I already revived you, and you want more?” I exclaimed, frustration flaring. “I even promised to make you stronger!”
“I know,” she said coolly. “But I require my own Realm. This Dungeon is a vast world divided into many Realms, is it not? I want one entirely my own.”
“Ah… I think I can manage that. The fourth floor suits your element well. It has monsters, but you could rule it if you wish,” I offered.
“Hmph. I do not want secondhand goods. I desire an empty world to shape in my own image,” she insisted. “It will become my personal Divine Realm, where I can expand my Divine Power and forge Divine Treasures. It will benefit us both if you grant me a completely empty Realm within this Dungeon World.”
“An entirely empty one?” I murmured, pondering. “Alice, what is our Dungeon Level now? Five?”
“No, it is six, Sylphy. You have been so occupied with Aquarina that you seem to have forgotten such details,” Alice replied gently. “It is Level 6. You have not yet expanded the final floor.”
I opened my Dungeon System Status, which I had neglected for far too long.
