Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1860: Together

Chapter 1860: Together

—–

Although our goals were similar, Armageddon’s methods were not. She wanted to destroy all of humanity and use us to fuel her power even further—while making the gods suffer as she stomped over their creations.

And I could never approve of such methods. Because there was no point in going against the gods if there was nothing left to protect. That was the very reason I was fighting at all.

I clashed against her, and without hesitation, I killed her—finishing it once and for all.

Aquarina used her as an “offering” to me. I absorbed her entire Divine Spirit Soul and her fragmented, premature Divinity, assimilating it into my own and growing stronger beyond my limits.

Indeed, aside from growing Faith, there was another way to strengthen my Divinity—and that was by consuming gods themselves. A power every Divine being possesses.

[You have absorbed the Divine Essence of the [Spirit Goddess of Fire and Destruction: Armageddon (Tier ???)]!]

[Your {Saintess: Aquarina} has offered the corpse and soul of this Goddess to you, further increasing your ability to assimilate it.]

[The Divine Essence flows through your very being! Your Magic Circle is rapidly developing new Divine Runes, your Physique is quickly absorbing the Divine Power, your Psyche is gaining more Divine Power, growing larger, and your Spiritual Heart is refining all the Divine Spiritual Energy.]

[Your [Magic Circle]: [Tier 8: Rank 7: Spiritual Alchemist Fairy Princess Magic Circle] has Ranked Up and Evolved to [Tier 9: Rank 1: Divine Spiritual Alchemist Fairy Princess Magic Circle]!]

[Your [Physique]: [Tier 8: Rank 5: Divine Thunderous Yggdragon Princess Physique] has Ranked Up and Evolved to [Tier 9: Rank 1: Divine Blazing Thunder Yggdragon Princess Physique]!]

[Your [Psyche]: [Tier 4: Rank 5: God Devouring Thunderous Abyssal Soul Psyche] has Ranked Up and Evolved to [Tier 5: Rank 1: God Devouring Infernal Abyssal Thunder Demon Soul Psyche]!]

[Your [Spiritual Heart]: [Tier 4: Rank 7: Abyssal Cursed Rainbow Demonic Spirit Heart] has Ranked Up and Evolved to [Tier 5: Rank 1: Divine Abyssal Cursed Rainbow Demonic Spirit Heart]!]

[Your [Divinity]: [Tier 1: Rank 3: Heroic Divinity of Heavenly Sun and Thunder (Demigod Realm)] has Ranked Up to Tier 2: Rank 1!]

[Your Divinity manifests, giving you power beyond your limits! You have gained +10,000 to All Stats! These new Stats cannot increase your Glitched Status, but increase your ( ) Status, adding up as extra Bonuses.]

[You learned the Skill: [Divine Star Of Destruction: Lv1]!]

Back then, when my Divinity absorbed hers, I felt a surge of immense power. My Cultivation skyrocketed, my Divinity rose by a whole Rank, and I gained a new Skill.

It wasn’t as simple as it seemed. That Skill was similar to [Divine Sunlight Halo] or [Divine Golden Thunder Rings]—manifesting as a Divine Treasure or Equipment within my Soul or Psyche. It was a small crimson star, rotating around itself, emanating a powerful aura of Flames of Destruction.

This Star could be summoned at will. It was incredibly potent, boosting my Fire-Attribute Magic, granting the “Destruction” Element that enhanced damage dealt, expanded Burning Power and Range, and ignored most Resistances—completely bypassing Fire Immunities.

Just by looking at it, I could feel Armageddon’s presence. It wasn’t faint. It felt like this floating Star was angry at me… or even hated me. I couldn’t quite describe it, but I could Cultivate with it like the others—absorbing its Divine Essence and distributing it across my body and soul.

Nonetheless, a few days passed, and I saw Aquarina fighting in the trial. Her friends and the bonds they had created were truly wonderful. It made me realize how much she had changed.

She had become more patient, more friendly, and kinder overall. She had matured. And although I’ll always love her however she is, she had definitely grown from her usual attitude—though not entirely.

After all, as I’ve discovered myself, it’s impossible to change who we truly are. It’s possible to improve, yes. But to replace who we are? Not really. We have to learn to live with our flaws. Even if we patch them, some always remain.

We improve. We work harder to become better versions of ourselves. But we must never lose ourselves in the process. Never replace who we are. I learned it’s better to merge with your new self than to erase your old one.

This mentality worked well for cultivation. And it’s why we need other people too—so they can make up for our weaknesses and flaws, and we do the same for them.

My love for Aquarina isn’t just because we’re childhood friends or because she’s beautiful—though those things do add up. There’s more to it.

I truly feel like she complements who I am. She fills the holes within me. And I think I do the same for her.

So when I saw her complete that Trial, her heart blazing with conviction and determination alongside her friends, I couldn’t help but smile so happily.

Although I never intervened—she didn’t want me to—I felt like I was there, cheering for her. And somehow, she knew I was watching. She knew I wanted her to win.

And now that we were finally together again, I couldn’t help but cry. I ran to her side and jumped over her like a crazed gremlin or something!

I’m a little embarrassed, especially because everyone was staring… but honestly, I didn’t care.

I couldn’t contain my excitement. I kissed her all over her face, and she kissed me back with passion—without holding back at all, even her tongue…

Ah, her kisses felt so heavenly. I missed her loving kisses so much!

Her lips were warm.

Her arms wrapped around me tightly, as if she had been waiting for this moment just as much as I had. And I knew she had. I could feel it in the way she held me, in the way her soul resonated with mine.

We were finally together again

After everything—after battles, trials, ascensions, and revelations—we had returned to each other. And at that moment, nothing else mattered.

Not the gods.

Not the wars.

Not the weight of Divinity.

Just us.
