As the high-voltage lightning passed through Jirōbō’s body, black smoke started to come out from his ears, nose, & mouth and he fell to the ground thud and zaps of lightning came out from his body from time to time.

Looking at the defeated Jirōbō, Sasuke released the web of metallic threads and muttered, “That’s one down…” Then looked at the twin brothers, “Next it’s the two of you…” he paused, and suggested, “Or, we could change things… just hand over the Scroll you have, and you can go… in fact, this guy is still alive… it might even be possible to save his life if he is given the medical attention on the right time… the decision is yours… Whether you want to hand over your Scroll and save the life of your squad member, or die here along with him…”

Sakon and Ukon looked at each other in surprise. ‘In the Level II Cursed Seal mode, we can even keep up with Jōnin… how could Jirōbō be defeated by him?’ If it was Dosu in place of Jirōbō, they would be able to believe the result before them with ease, but him? Sakon also noticed the change in Sasuke’s expression and smiled to himself. He looked at the Scroll of Earth in his hand, and suddenly threw it high into the air, “Here you go… take it!”

“What the hell?!” frowned Sasuke as he saw the Scroll going up into the air. He looked at Sakon for a moment, then immediately analyzed the situation, ‘I see… he wants me to…’ he too jumped high into the air to collect the Scroll. He figured that Sakon probably wanted to use this method to distance him from his injured companion so that he could use this opportunity to collect him and retreat. Sasuke had no interest in wasting time on Jirōbō, as such he did not mind playing along.

But contrary to what Sasuke had expected, upon noticing his leap toward the Scroll, Sakon did not go after his injured companion, instantly, he too jumped into the air.

‘Huh? He wants to use this opportunity to attack me?’ thought Sasuke as he reacted quickly and immediately unsheathed his Kusanagi Sword and attacked Sakon with it.

However, Sakon did not care about the sword coming to pierce him, he took the attack directly on his shoulder, tilting himself just enough so that it didn’t pierce his heart, then suddenly held Sasuke’s arm tightly while shouting ferociously, “You fool… I couldn’t care less about that idiot’s life and death… my only objective is your assassination! Now die, Uchiha Sasuke!” Then started to use his special Kekkei Genkai on Sasuke, ‘Demon Parasite Jutsu!’ as they landed back on the ground with the scroll falling beside them a moment later.

‘Demon Parasite Jutsu’ is a secret technique from their special Kekkei Genkai that allows Sakon & Ukon to disassemble their bodies on a cellular & protonic level such that they become capable of invading their target’s body in order to take control of it like a parasite and corrode it until the target dies.

And Sakon was now using this Secret Jutsu on Uchiha Sasuke.

The young Uchiha was surprised as he felt a foreign Chakra invade his body and take control of his body parts, he tried to break free, however, it did not seem to work at all!

Noticing the change in Sasuke’s expression, Sakon smiled arrogantly, “Uchiha Sasuke… savor the taste of despair… this is the end for you!”

Upon realizing that he is unable to come up with an instant countermeasure immediately and might die in the hands of an unknown Otogakure Genin, Sasuke gritted his teeth as the tomoe within his Sharingan began to spin rapidly. He wasn’t willing such a worthless death. Death is acceptable to him, but it must mean something, to die at the hands of a worthless Genin from Otogakure would only put mud on the Uchiha name. With that in mind, Sasuke screamed loudly, “I refuse to accept this!”

“But you cannot do anything about it either!” laughed Sakon while staring into Sasuke’s eyes. He enjoys seeing traces of despair and helplessness in the eyes of his enemies as he slowly strips away their lives. But here, his hobby became the cause of his own undoing as staring into Sasuke’s eyes became his biggest mistake.

The moment Sakon stared into Sasuke’s eyes a change that he realized immediately occurred.

“No matter how hard you struggle, you won’t be able to change today’s outcome… jus–!” halfway through, the smile on his face froze as his mouth started to flap continuously but no voice came out, ‘Wh–what? My body?!’ He did not even realize it as he lost control over his body. It’s like the ‘Demon Parasite Jutsu!’ he was using on Uchiha Sasuke was reversed and Sasuke had taken control of his body.

Sakon was stunned as his body gradually separated itself from Sasuke causing the young Uchiha to helplessly fall to the ground, and then stepped back while inwardly screaming in fear, ‘What’s going on?’

Not far away, Ukon also noticed something strange happening with Sakon and approached his brother, “What’s wrong with you?”

Sakon gave no answer just shook his head and staggered back.

Ukon hurriedly stepped forward to support him, and questioned, “What are you doing? That was the perfect opportunity to ki–!?”

Before Ukon could complete his words, suddenly, he felt a burning pain in his chest as a ray of lightning ran through his heart, puke!

No, not just his heart, but through Sakon’s chest as well! Ukon puked out blood and looked at the source of the ray of lightning, “Uchiha Sasuke?” it was coming from Uchiha Sasuke’s hand, who looked at the two of them coldly, ‘Chidori Sharp Spear!’

Both brothers fell to the ground with blood flowing out of their bodies and their breaths slowly disappearing.

Since Sasuke had already fried Sakon’s brain by passing high-voltage lightning through his body when he was trying to use that Jutsu on him, so at this moment, it’s safe to say that both Sakon and Ukon are on the verge of death.

“Haah… haah… what the hell is their problem?” mumbled Sasuke with heavy breath as he released the Jutsu and sighed. He couldn’t understand why they were so obsessed with killing him. Shaking his head, Sasuke got up and picked up the Scroll of Earth that had landed not far away from him.

Although he had to engage in a pointless battle and consume Chakra, the good news is that he managed to secure the Scroll of Earth, so the battle wasn’t entirely pointless.

Just as he picked up the Scroll of Earth, suddenly a figure with dark brown skin and several horns on her head flew out from the other side and crashed into the tree, then landed on the ground.

Sasuke turned toward the person and noticed that it was the Kunoichi with the flute. He also saw several serious piercing wounds on the body of the Kunoichi from which the blood was continuously flowing out, and thought to himself, ‘She won’t live for long…’ He then turned in the direction from where the Kunoichi flew out and noticed Mika wiping away blood from the corner of her mouth the lower end of her hair was also stained with blood, and although there were some injuries on her body, they didn’t appear to be very serious which relieved Sasuke, “Mika…”

“Sasuke-kun…” The Kunoichi of Team Seven breathed a sigh of relief.

Mika questioned, “Well, we found the Scroll we needed, what do we do with the other two Scrolls?”
