Karin and Gaara have lived sheltered lives at the Ancor Vantian for the past six years, and it’s almost time for them to expand their worldview and horizons. It makes little sense for them to possess power, yet not use it.

Multiple times, Kuroto has emphasized the importance of Karin as she is his trump card. Therefore, Kuroto needs both Karin and Gaara to have enough strength, experience, and understanding of the world such that they can protect themselves in his absence without relying on others. But the problem is the two of them have been living in the Ancor Vantian, and here, the two of them can only fight against each other to train. Although this helps in improving their strength, the overall effect is not very good since they are not in danger, as such they are unable to exercise their strategic mind, or fully display their strength.

This is where the Joint Chūnin Promotion Exam comes into play. It is not only an opportunity for Uchiha Sasuke, but also an opportunity for Gaara and Karin as well. Through this Exam, both of them can adapt to their power, and learn to effectively use them against enemies.

Kuroto has made arrangements for an Amegakure squad consisting of Raijin, Samsara, and Tengu to participate in the Joint Chūnin Promotion Exam. In the squad, Samsara and Tengu are Karin and Gaara respectively, meanwhile, Raijin is his Lightning Chakra Nature Clone. Considering the identities of the participants in the Joint Chūnin Promotion Exam, naturally, he wouldn’t miss this excellent opportunity to complete the development of his Lightning Chakra Nature Clone, as well.

Upon learning that she could participate in the Joint Chūnin Promotion Exam, Karin was very excited, “Come on Gaara, let’s go… we need to make preparations…!” and hurriedly took away Gaara with her. In order to stimulate Sasuke, he is going to use Uchiha Fugaku’s Mangekyō Sharingan, but the problem is, that he plans to use the Lightning Chakra Nature Clone, which does not possess Uchiha’s blood, so using the Mangekyō Sharingan would be very draining.

In fact, Kuroto’s purpose in using Uchiha Fugaku’s Mangekyō Sharingan is not only to stimulate Sasuke, but it is also to solve the problem of tunnel vision while moving at high speed while using Chidori or the Lightning Chakra Mode.

The flaw of moving at high speed while using Chidori, the Lightning Chakra Mode, or other Lightning Style movement-based Jutsu is that the user moves at such high speed that it causes a tunnel-vision-like effect for them. Although this problem can be solved with targeted training, however, there is a limit to which one can train to deal with that problem, moreover, that form of training would take too long, and it is unnecessary for Kuroto as it deviates from his objective.

Kuroto doesn’t care about adapting his Lightning Chakra Clone to high-speed movement, it makes little sense for him to do that as his objective with that clone is the mastery of Lightning Chakra Nature, not the high-speed movement. If using a Dojutsu can solve that problem with little effort, then why not use it?

In fact, if it were to him, he wouldn’t even want to use the Sharingan, he would want to use the Byakugan, however, the problem is that the Byakugan does not provide the dynamic vision that Sharingan provides. Since that’s the case, he has no choice but to turn to the Sharingan. But the problem with Sharingan is that only those with Uchiha blood can use it, perfectly. The people with the Senju and the Uzumaki blood can also use Sharingan, but they would never be able to master it to the extent the people with the Uchiha blood can.

If Kuroto were to use Sharingan with his Lightning Chakra Nature Clone, the situation would be similar to Kakashi’s. Kakashi while using the Sharingan constantly suffered from the Chakra problem. After using just a few Jutsu, he would run out of Chakra and become pretty much useless. No, the situation of the Lightning Chakra Nature Clone would be much worse than Kakashi’s since he would have two Sharingan implanted in his eye sockets, and both the Sharingan would constantly drain his Chakra, making him incapable of using more than two or three Chidori a day.

Given the fact that his Lightning Chakra Nature Clone contains genes of his main body along with Kakashi’s genes, Kuroto has no doubt he would be able to bear the burden of Fugaku’s Mangekyō Sharingan, however, his Chakra would still be constantly drained as Uchiha’s blood is needed to activate and deactivate the Sharingan, his genes cannot help in that regard.

If Kuroto wishes to effectively use the Mangekyō Sharingan, he needs to solve the problem of the Chakra drain caused by Sharingan remaining active all the time for a non-Uchiha.

Naturally, Kuroto has an idea in his mind to deal with that problem, and that is to use Fuinjutsu to seal the Sharingan when he is not using it. Of course, it wouldn’t be as simple as he worded it. After all, the seal would involve the Chakra Network around the eyes, but Kuroto is confident that he can solve this problem. His confidence comes from the fact that he has worked on the Yin-seal and made changes to it such that even men can use it without any problem.

Because of his experience of working on the Yin-seal, Kuroto has unparalleled knowledge of the Human body’s entire Chakra network, and how Chakra flows through them, so he believes that he would be able to stop the flow of Chakra into the eye using Fuinjutsu such that they remain sealed for the most part and activate whenever he needs to use them.

To create that Fuinjutsu Formula, all Kuroto needs are some experimental bodies and a few Sharingan that might get damaged while creating the seal, and it just so happens that he has both things available to him. Kuroto has a few pairs of Sharingan with him from the arm of Shimura Danzo that Uchiha Tsukihi had cut off during her fight with Danzo inside the Volcano following the completion of that old coot’s Kekkei Genkai Absorption Ritual, and he also has a lot of spare Clone bodies lying around at Ancor Vantian that he can use to create the Fuinjutsu Formula he wants.
