Chapter 2526: Information

Bloody Chariot looked at Naka and almost laughed out loud.

"You do know that the only reason who caught me was because I was weak and injured, right? You might be good, but at our level, the cultivation level matters way too much. Even if it’s the difference of a minor stage, it is not something you can overcome.

So, I hope you are not joking."

"Never mind, Bloody Chariot. I give you my word that as long as you defeat me, then you will get what you need.

And of course, you can take rest until you actually recover your power and then decide to fight. I will still be tending to your needs and you can reside in the same cottage.

If you ever feel bored, I will give you a tour of the surrounding area."

Naka acted like an extremely gracious host.

For a moment Bloody Chariot felt confused. He thought he might be getting punked.

This is basically giving what he needed for free. But at the same time Naka looked really confident. So, he didn’t know what to make of it.

He chatted with them for a while more and went back to cottage.

Even though he regained some of his physical health, he is still far off from acting normal. He really wished he carried more medicine and other stuff. But because of years of invicibility, Bloody Chariot grew complacent.

His storage didn’t have any essentials people usually carry around when they go out on a mission.

Now he is suffering the consequences of his own actions and complacency.

He could only wait and recover slowly.

Meanwhile, back at Sam’s camp.

After Sam’s harsh words about Icarus’ attitude, the managers did feel a bit awkward. But with Ivar being the bridge, they did feel more comfortable soon enough.

Icarus on the other hand, felt ashamed.

He realized just how heavily arrogant he was after Sam’s words.

He realized that he really didn’t have much to think too deeply, even taking credit for Sam’s actions against the academies.

And he also felt ashamed about his own incompetence.

A young man who is probably one fifth or one sixth his age, can stand directly declare that he is in a war with the gods.

Sam at his rate, has no way of knowing if he could ever even stand on the same level as the gods, but he was confident. He can scream it out and act on it.

But on the other hand Icarus who was so close to the cultivation of his own enemies, was cowering all these years.

Just because they kept an eye on him.

And to think he had the gall to consider that everything happened because of him...

He couldn’t face Sam. But at the same time, he really wanted to repay Sam in anyway that he can. So, at least he put his heart into training and started improving.

Once he did that, he improved very quickly.

Sam examined the corpses that night and nodded in satisfaction.

"Alright, the whole area is almost cleared. You guys can take some time off battles and focus on cultivation.

I need the remaining creatures to experiment on. So, let them be until then.

Meanwhile, I designed the special formations to increase the absorption process of the inheritance. The ones you have been using for the cultivation would be digested fast and you can aim to reach the middle stage of Divine plane consummation.

Everyone is excited. They all sat down in their respective formations and focused on cultivation.

While they did that, Sam shifted his focus to something else.

The information.

While everyone was busy training and he was busy with experimentation, he also did something else.

Gather information.

Just like always, even in this planet, Sam was obsessed with information and he used his regular bird puppet network and shadow mice network to gain the info.

Of course, he didn’t let the shadow mice network spread too far. This is a land of true behemoths. He didn’t want to incur the wrath of some intelligent beast that could come and trample him.

But the bird puppets on the other hand, is a different matter.

They are not living creatures in the senses of most of those beasts, they are weak and insignificant. So, they are mostly ignored. Particularly, with some new upgrades Sam made.

Anyway, he got a hold of all the information he could from the area he was in and realized a lot.

He and his team are currently on an island. One of the smallest in this planet.

But still, the strongest creature on this island is actually a Peak stage consummate beast.

Luckily, there was only one and Sam has plans for this one as well.

Apart from that, Sam noticed different kinds of dinosaurs on the island. Its mostly occupied by the land crocs, but there are a few others as well.

But what surprised him more was the presence of a different kind of creature that he didn’t expect to see on this planet.

The spirits.

Mostly earth and the tree spirits.

Nature spirits are obviously some of the rarest creatures of all realms and even the ones Sam was aware of were on the weaker end.

But on this island, he saw some really strong spirits.

Many of them in the late stage.

After digesting all the information, he started planning what they need to do after the phase 1.

He planned for the Phase 2 of his training which would involve the whole island.
