Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 530: Challenge Begins

Chapter 530: Challenge Begins

In the palace at the mountain top, eight people are present at different spots, doing their own things, but mainly training and meditating.

The strongest was a man floating atop the palace, on a cloud, with golden and black lightning behaving strangely around him, taking exotic shapes with incomprehensible runic patterns. His name, Vier Kar’s Zaiyan of the Zaiyan race, but basically a human at the foundation.

His eyes opened as they flickered, and he descended. “It looks like we have a challenger.”

The other seven appeared beside him. Two beastfolk twin wolf brothers with black fur. One Night Elf woman with a hot figure and pale blue skin. One black-haired girl with a katana and a millitery-esque uniform. The other three were blood-related siblings of Quasic Demons, a race of demons with short stature, but wings and horns twice as large as their figures.

Regalons soon arrived in front of them.

“This might be interesting.” Vier smiled as his half-black nd half-golden spiky hair flickered with golden and black lightning.

“Would you like to set up the stage, or do we set it up?” Almond asked as he sat on a throne alongside Lily on a solidified void platform, flickering with motes like stars.

“I’ll do the honors.” The busty elf smiled and floated up in the sky before a staff appeared in her hand.

She lightly tapped the staff in the air, and from beneath her feet, countless vines burst out in all directions, weaving into each other, braiding, shaping, and forming a large ground in the air. Paths and trees grew rapidly in formations. In the center, a huge tree sprouted, thick and tall, reaching 8,000 meters in height before stopping.

The tree branched out eight large platforms in circular shapes like battle rings, each one 1000 meters in radius.

In just a few seconds, a magnificent arena ground of wood and nature in the sky.

Vier and others vanished and appeared on different branches.

Almond, Lily, and others looked up.

“Beat the eight of us in a versus one battle, and you will get the palace.”

Vier spoke as he stood at the very top battleground branch of the tree, sitting cross-legged on a milky white cloud.

Almond, Lily, and Admiral Rudra appeared at the very top across the battleground of Vier.

“Good luck, folks,” Almond said as he waved at the Regalons below.

“Have fun.” Lily grinned.

“And don’t lose too badly.” Admiral Rudra smiled.

Vier confusedly looked at them. “Are you not going to challenge us?”

“We’ll do if they can’t win against you.” Almond smiled.

Vier looked below with an inquiring gaze. “Nah. Not possible.”

“But you three are interesting. You rouse my fighting spirit.” Vier grinned at the trio.

“Let’s see what happens.” Lily looked below. “Looks like they decided on the first challenge.

Below, Natalia looked at Emma. “Give your best, girl.”

“And don’t be depressed if you lose. That demon looks powerful.”

“I won’t lose.” Emma snorted.

“Natalia, you can’t be serious. If we choose people by luck, you can manipulate it.” Marcus was speechless. “Have respect for seniors here. Tell her something, guild master Liam.”

Liam wryly smiled. “There are only eight opponents, and we are many. Let’s just see how it goes. Those eight are pretty powerful.”

“He is calling you childish, Nat.”

“You’ve gotten fat, Marcus.” Natalia sadly spoke while looking at Emma. “Maya must feed you well.”

“Why me?” Maya muttered while watching Emma’s battle.

The others were absorbed in Emma’s fight as well. It was getting intense quickly.

Emma’s powers revolved around creating spiritual poison weapons with unique combinations, and her battle style was like an all-around assassin. Using illusion, poison, and such tricks by transforming the battlefield.

In the thick poison mist-laddened battlefield, Emma was moving around and attacking with her spiritual weapons, but the target was utterly elusive and seemed immune to her poisons so far.

’How is it that it’s not affecting him in the slightest?’

Emma frowned.

Soon, several plasmic-themed arrows cut through her poison and shot at her from three different sides.

Emma’s eyes flickered as her poisons quickly overwhelmed the arrows in her domain, instantly dismantling or, rather, dispersing them.

“Your poison is scary, and it’s alive! You’re strong. You could have won against the next opponent.”

“I’ll win against you.” Emma tried to find him, but she couldn’t sense his presence. ’What’s going on? Does he have mastery over power like Voiderran?’

“Nope, you can’t. Your poison can’t touch me. I move through a different dimension within my domain. Unless I permit, things cannot touch me.”

“But your attacks have to come to the same dimension as me to hit me,” Emma cracked her fingers before claws began forming from colorful mist, solidifying. “And they are too weak to survive.”

“I’ll do something about it soon, lady.”

“Not before I do something about you.”

Emma waved her hands as her claws projected out, flickering slashes.

The poison in those slashes ignited into dark-colored purple flame and trailed brightly, cutting through the space and spilling into the Quasic Demon’s dimension.

“What?! How?!”

Emma’s eyes glinted with black and gold flicker. “Unfortunately for you, the progenitors of our bloodline are well-suited to seeing through everything. All I needed were frequencies leading to your dimension, which were quite clear to me with our Eyes of Truth.”

The Quasic Demon emerged from the crack with a slash across his arm and large wings. But now, there was a mini domain around him blocking everything.

“And you managed to slip that attack right at me, eh? That’s pretty interesting geneline power. Must be mainly from those three up above.”

“Correct.” Emma nodded as her claws flickered with light again.

“Still not enough to beat me.” The Quasic Demon grinned, and his large horns glinted brightly, and his wings flapped strongly.

Whips and whirlpools of black wind with dark red and dark cya sparks burst out in all directions.

“This is my geneline’s power. Have a taste of it.”

Emma had to instantly switch to defensive poison spirits, arming herself in several layers as this rampaging power was shredding the domain apart.

Energy usage was limitless, as both of them burst out with their full power.

But at this stage, Emaa was forced to be on full defensive as she constantly had to bolster her defenses, or the bursting attack of this Quasi Demon would take her out.

“Looks like it’s over,” Silvester muttered. “I’ll go next.”

“Who said, old fart?” Hiroshi snorted. “I’ll go.”

“Nah, we are rolling this big dice.” Natalia grinned.

“Emma is still struggling, by the way.” Kira speechlessly said.

“Grandpa, if you win, I’ll go, okay?” Noah said to Silvester.

“Get lost. You can’t beat him.”

“…”
