Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 510: Golden Void Outlaws (5)

Chapter 510: Golden Void Outlaws (5)

“Sorry, but the Heart Engine of Tiderend is ours.”

“You can die and search for another mystic power.”

“Or you can also save our time and energy, and get lost from here.”

’Heart Engine of Tiderend?’

’It sounds like that’s the name of Mystic Power here.’

’Engine, huh? It must give a pretty big boost to the ships if it’s an engine.’

“Are you just going to yap or make a move already?” Natalia taunted with a snicker.

“Humph, creep masked idiots. It looks like generosity is not something you appreciate.”

“Attack!”

Almond and Lily sat down on their thrones, and they manifested from their exotic elemental energy. They didn’t intend to make a move.

It was time for Regalons to show the result of their recent training and refinement.

The initial bombardment of attacks that rained on them was promptly blocked by Marcus, who conjured a giant shield, and Admiral Rudra, who broke down the attacks mid-way.

The other Regalons promptly sprang into action, selecting their opponents and launching their moves.

Silvester and Hiroshi took on four people at once. Their long-term rivalry had naturally given birth to an exceptionally coordinated combat between them.

Both of them killed three Grim Students and one peak Grim Resident in mere moments, their slashes still lingering in the atmosphere after cutting those people down.

Arjun unleashed a single destructive arrow that split into three, killing one peak Grim Student and two Grim Residents instantly.

“What?!”

Those three attacks that were lightning fast and took down seven of their people shocked the rest of them.

Alas, the other Regalons proved to be just as overpowered to them.

In a matter of ten seconds, all thirty enemies, with twelve Grim Students and eighteen Grim Residents, were eliminated, blood painting the landscape of a kilometer radius within the barrier.

Admiral Rudra also didn’t need to make any moves until, at last, he launched a fist to shatter the barrier.

The Regalons continued, their experience increased by 1 – 2 % and they gained tens of thousands of Pirate Points.

Eliminating others meant taking their pirate points, which was one of the ways to gather pirate points fast.

Soon, the Regalons arrived at the giant obsidian temple with blue and golden intricate patterns.

The temple gates were opened already, and the entire structure hummed in strange power.

Above it, dark clouds were gathered with thunderous rumbles occurring often.

The moment Regalons stepped inside the vast hall lit by braziers of ghostly blue and golden flame, they got a notification.

[Mystic Power: Heart Engine of Tiderend can be acquired by collecting 10 Tiderend Runes and presenting them in the altar of Tiderend.]

[Note: Altar of Tiderend hasn’t been located yet.]

The temple was massive, as they could already see it from outside.

In this hall, they saw ten giant doors, each leading somewhere.

Since the task was to collect 10 Tiderend Runes, it was clear that they would be put in different locations with not-so-easy-to-get difficulty.

“Are we splitting or moving together?” Liang asked as he turned to Almond, Lily, and Rudra.

“The effectiveness of our geneline abilities has decreased considerably. Mainly, we can no longer instantly teleport beside fellow Regalons unless you have enough understanding space,” Almon said as he looked at the other Regalons. “But we have two people proficient in space, so we’ll split the group into two.”

“I’ll lead one, and Big D will lead the other. This way, we can aid each other in case there’s an emergency while also focusing on finding and collecting the Tiderend Runes.”

Everyone nodded.

Almond waved his hand, summoning more Regalons.

There were fifty Grim Outlaws and one Grim Resident so far in their ranks, but only seventeen were powerful enough to participate here.

However, several had trained and become powerful over the last two days, so Almond added them to the ranks.

There were some of the old monsters and guild leaders.

And so, the total number of Regalons (Grim Outlaws) became twenty-six.

Almond split the group, taking thirteen with him, and the other thirteen in Big D’s group.

For the balance of teams, Lily and Admiral Rudra were in Big D’s group since Almond alone was strong enough to restrain large enemies on his own, thanks to his arsenal of powers.

Lily and Admiral Rudra were no doubt strong, and in technical combat arsenal view, there was little difference among them, but in terms of pure destructiveness and pure nihilism resulting from their skill-set, Almond was simply more powerful, mainly because of his Grim-Fated Cut true concept and his Grim Tree’s overpowered first branch’s ten into one sword that could strip people of their most fundamental combat aspects, rendering them like papers in front of him.

Both groups went to different doors.

Inside, both groups found two ways. One led upward and another led downward.

It was clear that the temple was a huge maze-like structure, making it difficult for people to find the Tiderend Runes.

There were traces of other groups, their residual aura, so both groups followed those.

Almond went to the top of the door he chose to enter, while Big D and others went underground in their passage.

The top floors where Almond went looked like beautiful and vast structures, man-made with intricacy and mystery.

They first arrived in a hall full of beastly paintings.

“The ceiling…” Arjun muttered. “If this is the height of halls going up, we can conclude there are at most ten floors.”

The ceiling were twenty meters high up, with large walls in all sides depicting paintings of multitudes of sizes.

“Look at that painting. It’s broken.”

“Maybe there was a Tiderend Rune here, and a group managed to get it?”

“Should we move up?”

Almond nodded. “Yeah, let’s continue upward. There’s nothing here.”

Going up to the second floor, they arrived in a hall with shifting walls and doors that flickered in and out of existence.

There were two groups already here as they could feel presence of many people.

They were going through the flickering doors and vanishing out of sight before appearing elsewhere.

The other two groups sensed the presence of Almond and others, but they didn’t make any moves.

The Tiderend Rune wasn’t found, and it might not even be here in this hall.

The general consensus was not to eliminate other groups early and let each other search around to find the Tiderend Runes to speed up the search.

On the other hand, Lily and others who went underground found themselves in fully natural cavern systems with exotic geological structures.

There were glowing crystals, moss, complex pathways, and most importantly, mist that often appeared and disappeared in the caves, which reduced the senses.

As Lily and others went through two big caverns, they finally encountered a group.

Moreover, this group was surrounding a pond in a tight formation, and the moment Lily and others appeared, an intense hostile reaction emerged from them.

This group of twenty-four people belonged to the Cross Light faction, and it seemed they had found a Tiderend Rune.

“Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for some action,” Big D said with a grin.

“Seven Grim Students at peak, four Grim Students at early to mid range, and the rest are Grim Residents.” Admiral Rudra’s eyes flickered as he measured everyone’s aura.

“Doable. No need to call Almond’s group for aid.” Lily’s chakrams floated beside her while darkness began to ooze from her feet, spreading quickly.

“Kill them.”
