"I already did this morning. She wasn’t in the mood to talk to anyone yet." She said.

"My mother also called me this morning. Elyndra turned in the marriage contract so mother called to check in." She said.

"So when do I get to meet my new in-laws?" I asked.

"I have no idea. They don’t live on this continent. Most of the Primordials live on the other continents." She said.

"Do the Primordials make it a habit to marry their children to other Primordials?" I asked.

"Yes. With the extended life span of their children they prefer Primordial’s children for long term companionship. That is why the law of the Prime includes needing permission from our parents to marry us. That is also why Skree likes to kidnap us, longer lifespans means we can give him that many more offspring. The weakest of the Primordials even give him their daughters as tribute for peace." She explained.

"That’s terrible. Which Primordials do that?" I asked.
