“I feel so much stronger now,” Iskar, the Ember Fang King, one of the kings in the Sylvara domain, said. “What did you do to me?”
Kent smiled. “It is a secret I will only tell you when your trust level reaches 100%.”
Zeroth and Rahven were also curious, but after hearing what Kent said, they could only sigh inwardly. However, they had become much stronger, and each of them awakened one innate ability.
Kent received three benefits from each of the other three beasts Sylvara brought him.
The first benefit was that he gave each of them a name. They already had a name, but it seemed the universe hadn’t recognised them, so he renamed them using the same names.
Just like with Ember, there was a 300% boost on all flame-type skills. This shows the reward is determined based on how strong the beast is and how much trust they have in him.
Each had only 15% trust in Kent.
So after activating the benefit, the beasts that use flame skills felt like they were twice as strong.
Then there was the benefit he received from creating living space for them. This time, instead of an increase in their trust level, they each received an elixir that came out of the Taming Bracelet.
After taking it, they each awakened an innate talent ability.
Then the third reward was for him to bestow a skill on them. He gave each the Flame wheel, which, to his shock, mutated when they received it.
Instead of Flame wheels on the heels, the five beasts instead got Flame wings, allowing them to move four times faster in their human form.
Vashara and Niraya also received three rewards, but their first reward gave them a 400% boost in all flame-type skills.
“You really didn’t lie to us. You indeed have the power to make us so much stronger,” Vashara said, a thankful look in her eyes, though Kent could tell she felt like she owed him.
“You owe me nothing, Vashara. I merely did what I did because I needed your help. However, for now, I want you all to relax and decorate your new living spaces.
You can enter and exit as you will from anywhere.
We will be going to the human worlds soon, where I will do my best to help you all break more limits.”
Kent smiled, and then an idea popped into his mind. “Of course, if you can find these ingredients here, I will be able to help each of you break at least one more limit before we leave.”
Kent told them the names of the ingredients for the Soul Strengthening and Limit Breaker pills. They quickly issued orders to their subordinates to work together and look for these ingredients.
Meanwhile, after Kent made sure everything was set, he took Sylvara and the last remaining beast, a Tier 19 Burning Wyrm Serpent, to see Commander Agnes.
He had promised to give Commander Agnes a Tier 19 beast, and he intended to keep that promise.
After reviewing all the messages that appeared when he broke Sylvara’s virginity and made her his tamed beast, he found out that the one reward of the Taming Quest had been released.
He received the Ten Supreme Beast Contract, which, according to the descriptions, when used to form a contract between a person and a beast, will bestow upon them a supreme technique that grows with them as they become more familiar with each other.
Kent picked a female beast so that Commander Agnes could have a more intimate relationship with her. After all, ladies tend to share more about themselves with their fellow females.
“Is this human strong?” Sylvara asked, worried about what Kent said.
She wanted to know if Commander Agnes was stronger than she was, because Kent had told her that if he were to run away, he would die a painful death.
The only way for that to happen is if Kent’s companion is stronger than he is.
Kent smiled and cupped Sylvara’s cheek. They were seated on the back of the Burning Wyrm Serpent that he was taking to Commander Agnes.
“She is not a threat, my love. I could kill her with a slap, but because she helped after signing a blood contract, I had to uphold that.
Also, with your power, you will find out she is actually a Flame Elemental Elf, but she had disguised herself as a Flame Elemental Human. Don’t say anything when you see this.”
“Okay.”
Sylvara wanted to protect her man, but hearing he had everything under control made her relax a bit. Though she would keep a close eye on Commander Agnes just to be sure.
After two hours, they came to 200 meters away from the cave. Kent and Sylvara got down and started walking toward the cave.
When they were 100 meters away, he saw three Tier 14 soul spirits move toward him.
This made him smile. “Relax, Commander Agnes, it’s me.”
The soul spirits came to a halt, and a voice came from the cave.
“Kent… is that you?”
“Yes, Commander.”
Commander Agnes had restricted her energy from leaking, so even she couldn’t tell who was outside. Naturally, she did this to not draw attention to herself.
However, hearing Kent’s voice, she ran out of the cave only to come to a halt the next second.
Her bow appeared in her hand despite knowing death was what awaited her if she were to meet any of the two people standing beside Kent. She pulled her bowstring, showing she wouldn’t go down without a fight.
Kent laughed. “Relax, Commander. They are harmless.”
Kent pulled Sylvara to his side and placed his hand on her ass while the beast meant for Commander Agnes stood in her humanoid form.
She was also beautiful, but the two horns on her forehead and the scales on her neck revealed that she was a beast.
“This is Sylvara, the monarch of this region, and your beast companion you will be naming after the contract is formed.”
Commander Agnes gulped, looking at Sylvara. She was taken aback by both her beauty and the danger she represented.
’She… she is the monarch of this region… but how?’ Her mind couldn’t process just how Kent would look that intimate with one of the most dangerous beasts in the Flame Sea.
“I managed to get the Soul Flame Fruits.” Commander Agnes immediately moved toward Kent, the fear of Sylvara and the other Tier 19 beast fading when she heard what Kent said.
Kent waved his hand, and 12 Soul Flame Fruits appeared.
Her eyes widened.
“As promised, you will have six, and I will take six.” Kent waved his hand, and six Soul Flame Fruits vanished back into his space ring.
“But—” Commander Agnes couldn’t believe her eyes. “But this is just too much. I only want one.”
“Well, you have five additional ones. That is your good fortune for meeting me. Also, take it as a down payment for your bride price.”
Kent grinned.
Even in her disguise, she was a beauty. However, Kent’s praise came from the fact that, knowing her chances of living were next to none, she bravely ventured into the harrowing depths of the flame sea.
“Are you sure?” Commander Agnes asked with red cheeks. Sylvara’s eyes narrowed, seeing the familiar redness on her cheek.
Kent smiled and gave her ass a firm squeeze, telling her she should behave.
“I am sure. Also, get ready to form a soul contract with your new companion. She needs a name, so think of one.”
“Okay. But I will take only three of the fruits, take the rest.”
