Chapter 903: The Apocalypse (7)
Chapter 903: The Apocalypse (7)
[30 Minutes Before Unity’s Arrow Entered Through the Crack – The Dead Region – Core Area]
Thirty minutes ago, during the attack on Sonox by the Sea Race, Amix, the leader of the Hand, met with the Vampire King.
This meeting was one that would require great sacrifice. However, knowing the benefit that would come from it, the Vampire King, who was after greatness, chose to follow through with the plan.
This plan, of course, was the ritual meant to open the Doors of the Apocalypse. However, instead of those doors opening, the Forsaken Doors would open. This, of course, means danger is slowly coming to Sonox.
“Like I said earlier, the moment the doors open, you and your people will be rewarded with so much you cannot even begin to imagine.
I have already promised to deliver the blood of the Wynthralls. Even though the ones I delivered are not up to standard, the moment my people are free, I will be sure to hunt down the true bloodline and give them to you and the core family.”
The Vampire King, a handsome man with two red horns and bat wings, nodded at Amix.
“I will allow my first strike force to attack should the Sea Race fail. Not that they can do much, considering they are weaklings.
However, I expect this ritual to end before they are overrun. Though I don’t mind them all dying, my second strike force will only be deployed if we have to.
As for the Royal Vampire Force, I will seal the crack before I let them fight your battle. The human continent is unguarded, and I can conquer it while I slowly find resources to get off this food-forsaken planet.
So be sure to hurry before I am forced to end everything.”
Amix nodded, though she was not happy being threatened. However, since she had no other choice but to work with the vampires, she swallowed her anger and flew away to start the ritual. It would take 45 minutes maximum.
The Vampire King was seated on a blood-red throne in a large hall, where ten vampires with the same features as the Vampire King could be seen.
On the outside, 40,000 vampires of the same nature stood radiating a powerful aura. Their aura is much more powerful than that of regular vampires.
Ten kilometers away from them, 200,000 vampires with much shorter horns and no wings also stood radiating similar auras.
Then, 50 kilometers from them, the pale-looking vampires were geared up and staring at the crack that was slowly forming.
In the vampire race, these pale vampires are those without powerful bloodlines. Their leaders are the six Blood Royals and the six Grand Generals.
They are just normal vampires. The 200,000 with horns but no wings are known as the Elite Vampires, while those with horns and wings are regarded as the Royal Vampires.
Thirty minutes later, the crack opened, and the vampires had long attacked. However, while the vampires had no plans to go all out, plans changed when the six Blood Royals in charge of the normal vampires attacked.
This action forced the Elite Vampires to sense something was amiss, so they chose to check it out. That was when they discovered the treasure that had appeared on the battlefield, causing them to make a decision.
One of them, against all odds, ran to the core of the Dead Region where only the Royal Vampires lived.
“Stop right there.” Just as he was approaching, a voice forced him to stop. “What do you want in the core region?” one of the Royal Vampires asked.
“I would like to report that someone with Blood Transformation abilities has appeared on the battlefield, and also, 90% of the normal vampires have been killed.”
“What?”
The moment the words came out of his mouth, the Elite Vampire lost control of his body as he was pulled by an invisible force. The next second, he appeared in the large hall, kneeling before the Vampire King.
“What did you just say?”
The King asked, causing the Elite Vampire to turn pale.
“There is someone using Blood Transformation…” The moment the words came out of his mouth, he dropped dead.
“All Elite Vampires should move out.” The Vampire King’s voice boomed, spreading far and wide. “Catch the one using the Blood Transformation alive.”
All Elite Vampires moved the moment the order came.
However, just as they were charging toward the crack, they saw a brilliant red light pass through it and was heading toward them.
One of the six Elite vampire generals leading the charge leapt into the air with a powerful spear, aiming to destroy the arrow.
However, just as his spear was about to meet the arrow, it vanished, and a large formation appeared in the air and on the ground.
That was when they heard a sweet voice speak from the other side of the crack.
“Cataclysmic Arrow: Explode.”
The land they stood on shook, and then from within the formation in the sky, a very large, metallic, and deadly arrow appeared in an instant and embedded itself in the ground.
“BOOM.”
Unity mouthed the word as the arrow exploded, turning the very ground all the vampires stood on to explode into stones and sand.
Thousands were instantly turned to ash, with thousands more sustaining injuries that were impossible to recover from.
Unity laughed, giving thumbs up to her two Primordial Spirits. They made the arrow…
Inside the large hall, the Vampire King rose from his chair and vanished. When he appeared, half of his 200,000 Elite Vampires were either ash or screaming on the ground.
His expression turned ashen when he saw this.
His gaze was directed at the crack leading to Sonox. However, before he could make up his mind, a beauty holding a bow stepped through, followed by a titan brute whose body was covered in golden lightning armor.
Kaizo looked at the Vampire King and smiled. “From the look on your face, I can tell you are very angry. I wonder what you are going to do about it.”
“I also want to see what he is going to do about it,” Unity muttered, spinning an arrow between her fingers as she stared at the Vampire King.
In no time, the Royal Vampires appeared behind the Vampire King, causing the very weather to start turning dark.
“Looks like you guys were looking down on us. Who could have predicted there are more of you here, and even much more powerful than those idiots you sent out?” Zareth spoke as a dragon roar came through the crack.
He arrived standing on the head of the Void Dragon.
“More to kill, I suppose.” Vaelros also appeared, his fist coated in thick chains.
Princess Lovina and Alina arrived as well. Sect Leader Deimos, Lady Enzi, Lady Liora, and the sect Elders also came through the crack.
But it didn’t end there. The various Kings and some of their capable warriors appeared. Though they numbered only a few hundred for each kingdom, they knew that doing nothing would look bad for them.
Even the core disciples and some inner disciples, who included Nyss and Kent’s friends, chose to join the offensive and enter the Dead Region.
By the time every one of them had joined, the army behind Kaizo and Unity now numbered slightly over ten thousand, while their opponents still numbered over 140,000, with powerful vampires now joining the mix.
The only one still to enter was Sylara, who was almost done absorbing the blood on the outside for her Blood Transformation.
“Kill them,” the Vampire King muttered coldly.
The Royal Vampires and the Elite Vampires charged forward.
However, just as they were about to clash, an ear-shattering sound came from the distance, halting everyone.
