Chapter 1159: Sword King

Kent remained seated, his expression calm. However, the sword energy enveloping him felt suffocating and extremely dangerous.

Kent had already merged his blood Qi with his sword Qi, forming the undisputed Blood Sword Qi.

He felt it all, and now that he is back to himself, he couldn’t help feeling like he had been reborn as a true swordsman all over again.

“Damn, I was awesome back in the day.” Recalling how badass he was when he stepped onto the Sword Bridge, he couldn’t help feeling like there was so much fun to be had soon.

“Sword Bridge, huh?” He turned and looked at the Sword Bridge just a couple of kilometers away from him. Seeing the large sword positioned like a bridge, he smiled. “Now, that is how you create a sword bridge, not a pagoda.”

The memory of how he teased Immortal Lord Ritsu about the pagoda made him smile. He didn’t know how bold he was back then. The man he was teasing could easily have killed him, but Jest didn’t seem to care.

He was carefree and lighthearted, something Elina tried to turn Chaos into until her untimely and tragic death.

Jest may have been a slave, but now he was a free man who would do anything to remain free.

Kent then turned to the third message and opened it to read the complete information.

Kent scratched the back of his neck as a pale smile appeared on his face.

“Ah, why did I even bother to check?” Something told him where all this was going, and he knew it would be a wild one. However, since he planned to check, now he knew what he must do.

Not that it is going to be easy.

“The first one is easy. I just have to remember more of Jest’s life and see if he can defeat the Sword Divines.” Kent had absolute trust in himself as Jest that he would be able to, despite not yet having memories of that.

He was about to face off against the Ten-Star Sword God when the memory key he used expired.

But being in Jest’s body and feeling what he felt, he knew the bastard wasn’t known as the greatest swordsman to ever live for nothing.

“I believe in myself, and I know I can do it.”

Kent then checked to see how many memory keys were left. However, to his shock, all four keys were used up.

This left a small smile on his lips. “It is to be expected. I have been in there for a while, after all.”

Kent looked at the many requirements he would have to personally handle and shook his head. “This isn’t even the requirement to become a Sword Emperor.”

Kent wanted to sigh again, but he knew sighing too much would make him look weak, so he decided to check the requirements for the Sword Emperor stage.

This way, not only would he be hard to kill, but his killing intent would also become much more potent. Aside from that, his sword intent would become much more potent as well.

Four seals appeared, and his two blood cores and flame core came to life. He began refining them right away.

’I have three memory keys for the faceless assassin. For now, I will hold on to them. Once I have some free time on my journey to find Elina, I will review them.’

Kent smiled and sent his mind back to refining the four seals.
