Chapter 2756: Out At Last?

“Teehee! As the benefactor wishes, I shall now prepare the rift. Please be informed that even I do not know which world you will be sent to as we do not venture out of the Void.” The Void Star Mother stated as if she her new personality is that of a young lady.

Adrian did not say anything as the Void Star Mother suddenly focused all of her remaining energy. The entire body of the Void Star Mother radiated the same energy as that of the Void and she used that very same one to create the rift. With her five large tentacles or arms, the Void Star Mother created a rift that pierced through the Void.

“Please enter the rift immediately, benefactor. I cannot maintain it for long as I am already using a large portion of my power to keep it open. We would have wanted to give you more but we are unfortunately not in a state that we are well off. We will have to rebuild the Void Sea once again. If you ever find yourself in the Void once more, please visit us and we will surely welcome you as our benefactor.” The Void Star Mother stated.

“I told you that it is fine. I just did what was obligated of me. Farewell!” Adrian stated as he jumped inside of the rift immediately because he does not know what is happening in the mortal realm. He might have gotten messages from his friends in the chat logs for his holoswatch but seeing is different from messaging.

The Void Star Mother then became a bit weak as soon as she closed the rift. One could see that the energy needed to open a rift from the Void is not something that can be done easily. Even a Void Ruler became rather weak just maintaining it for a few seconds. Still, Adrian saw how the Void Star Mother opened the rift. He saw how she cut through numerous dimensions at the same time.

“If I can use that then maybe even I… I can create a gate that can lead to the Void. After all, the Eye of the Void which is the Creation Relic of the Daemos is located deep inside the Void Abyss. I just need to get the key to that Void Dimension and I can get it myself. For now, the problem with the Asgardian gods needs to be dealt with first.” Adrian stated as he passed through a wormhole.

Adrian did not focus on the images he sees inside the wormhole because some of them are random. This wormhole that is created from the rift is a result of slicing through numerous dimensions. He is extremely careful in passing through because he might end up in a world that he is not familiar with or in another dimension that the laws of space are twisted.

“I see the exit!” Adrian thought as he immediately spread his wings to boost his flight speed to the other side.

He felt something try to grab at him earlier but it was so faint and the presence was not able to catch up to him so he ignored it. Also, the presence vanished when he was about a meter away from the exit as if that thing is bound in the wormhole. Adrian then found himself in another world where everything is in flames and volcanoes are exploding all the time.

[You have arrived at Muspelheim.]

“Well, it is my favorite little demon! Why have you come here?” The Flame Giant Surtr asked as Adrian was directly delivered to the doorstep of the Flame Giant Surtr.

“It is a bit of a long story but that wretched God of Mischief Loki has sent me to the Void. I do not know why he did so but I will have my revenge. I will kill him while he is still in the mortal realm which would destroy his divine soul forever!” Adrian stated as the pent-up frustration suddenly exploded as he remembered what the God of Mischief Loki did to him.

“Did you say that the God of Mischief Loki has descended to the mortal realm?” The Flame Giant Surtr asked.

“Yes. It is not just him though because Asgard itself has descended into the mortal realm. The Asgardian gods led by the God King Odin has been trying to expand his territory to encompass the entire northern continent. He will not stop at the northern continent though as they plan to conquer the world.” Adrian stated which made the Flame Giant Surtr look at him in disbelief.

“Is what you are saying true?” The Flame Giant Surtr asked once more.

“Yes! Why would I lie to you? Why would I lie when I have been trapped in the Void for a long time. I did not know why I ended up here when this dimension is also a long way from the mortal realm. It will take me an hour to create a stable gate.” Adrian complained which made the Flame Giant Surtr.

“Is something funny?” Adrian asked as the Flame Giant Surtr suddenly laughed.

“I guess it is finally time for that fated day. Your arrival to me is not a coincidence, Mediator of Death. You shall be the Herald that brings forth the end of Ragnarok. You shall bring death to the old conquering gods that abandoned the mortals in pursuit of their ambition. You were brough here by the Norns as I can see their power over you as if they twisted causality to bring you to me.” The Flame Giant Surtr stated which made Adrian even more confused.

“Okay then. I will create the portal back to the main world.” Adrian stated as he did not know what the Flame Giant Surtr was spouting.

“Is that so? I guess I have an hour to polish and empower my weapon then.” The Flame Giant Surtr stated as he stood up from his volcanic throne and proceeded to dip his large hands into the lava below.

The Flame Giant Surtr pulled up a large sword made of black stone. He then proceeded to hammer it down to destroy the impurities and sharpen it. It was like he was preparing for battle which Adrian found a bit odd but he has other matters he needs to attend to. Creating a portal from Muspelheim to the main world is not easy. He needed to get started already or else the Asgardian gods might win since he saw direct messages from Frey that the God of Mischief Loki summoned one of his children which is the World Serpent Jormungandr.

“I just hope she does not help her father.” Adrian muttered as he knows of a goddess of death related to the God of Mischief Loki.

While Adrian was in the Void, the World Serpent Jormungandr was summoned and is now fighting against the God of Thunder Thor. Seeing the betrayal of the God of Mischief Loki, the God King Odin released the Beast of Ogdoad upon him. The Beast of Ogdoad charged towards the God of Mischief Loki but it suddenly stopped midway and proceeded to fiercely look at the God of War Tyr.

“HAHAHAHAH! Did you think I am not prepared for this sudden debacle?! I have already planted what I need five steps ahead of all of you.” The God of Mischief Loki shouted as the Beast of Ogdoad suddenly started to twist and turn as its entire body became contorted.

The twisting of flesh and bone could be heard as the all those that witnessed it watched in horror. The Beast of Ogdoad that is a Beast of Calamity suddenly contorted and dropped dead. The God King Odin’s control over it suddenly vanished as a dead being would have the Chains of Subjugation destroyed. Still, the God King Odin commanded the God of War Tyr to kill the God of Mischief Loki there.

Just as the God of War Tyr jumped towards the God of Mischief Loki to kill him, a bloodstained hound suddenly tacked the god of war. Even the God of War Tyr was unable to react to the sudden appearance of a bloodstained hound. It was like this bloodstained hound appeared into thin air or was summoned.

“AWWOOOOO!”

The howl of a fierce beast echoed in the area and this howl is familiar to all of the Asgardians. Even the gods that came to punish the Asgardians know of this howl. This is the howl of the monster that even gods fear as it can swallow them whole. This is the howl of the Wolf of Calamity Fenrir but that should not have been possible since this beast was killed by Adrian when it was weakened.

“It was worth getting your soul at the very pits of Tartarus! My deal with the Titans were not a waste!” The God of Mischief Loki shouted in hysteria as the revival of his son meant the end of all gods.
