Chapter 2744: Plan to Escape the Void

Adrian ripped out all of the web that he covered himself with and flew towards the area where the Voidwyrm appeared. He thought that he could study how the Voidwyrm managed to destroy the dimensional barrier in the Void but the spot is basically spotless. Even he did not expect such a monster to be more proficient in the use of spatial magic compared to him.

“Does that mean that there are layers upon layers of dimensions in the Void itself? Am I in a dimension unique to the Void Lukos Arachnid?” Adrian thought as that was the only explanation he could find for why the Voidwyrm literally needed to pierce through the dimension to arrive to his current location.

Adrian then tried another approach which is to tap into the Void itself. He made sure to focus everything he has as he explored the space around him. Adrian then moved his hand but it looked like his own hand is passing through numerous dimensions. He then formulated a hypothesis why the Void is difficult to escape unless there is a fixed exit.

Adrian believed that the Void is basically like a layered dimension where it also shifts at the same time. Numerous dimensions layered on top of each other due to the fact that the Void is the dimension between the dimensions. It now makes sense why getting into the Void meant certain death if they are not proficient in spatial magic. This place is basically a death trap to normal beings that cannot control space.

“I can feel it. Maybe if I tap into this place’ energy source, I might be able to create a direct gate that leads to the main world itself.” Adrian stated as he started to focus even harder as he wanted to assimilate some of the energy in the Void.

The energy in the Void is different as it is every chaotic and shifting. Adrian is thankful that his Daemos Core: Origin is able to handle the energy from the Void. He is now trying to assimilate this energy to familiarize himself on how the space flows and shifts. If he manages to master this then he could come and go in the Void.

What Adrian did not know is the fact that he is also showing himself to the beings that are incredibly powerful in the Void. There are numerous beings without intelligence in the Void as they only have instincts which is why they do not create breaches to other worlds. Still, there are Void monsters and creatures that have developed superior intelligence that are also planning to escape the very place they were born from.

As soon as Adrian resonated with what we can call as Void Energy, the powerful beings that also utilizes the energy inside the Void also noticed him. It might not be incredibly flashy but all of them saw the silhouette and face of Adrian. This also meant that Adrian saw all of them as well since gazing into the abyss will make the abyss gaze back at you.

“Crap!” Adrian shouted as he tried to sever his connection but it was too late.

A rift suddenly manifested below Adrian’s feet as numerous scaled tentacles suddenly grabbed him and dragged him to another dimension within the Void. Adrian could not even resist as he was weakened from the sudden disconnection from the Void. He only prayed that the being that abducted him could at least be reasoned with.

“The Daemos will participate with the war against the Asgardians. They shall fall as they have broken the tacit understanding of making this world safe. We shall now proceed with the declaration of war.” Elder Ascalor stated as he and the other elders opened a rift that leads near to the base of the Asgardians.

“Are you sure about this? Even we cannot march easily towards the Asgardians. They still have a god king with them.” The Ice Queen Elona stated.

“A god king will be killed then.” Elder Koronn replied.

“This is all out war that needs to be properly declared to all beings in the world. A stance must be taken or else those other gods or even mortals will think that they can do anything as long as they are not the ones that suffer.” Elder Bronx added before all three of them entered the rift.

The God King Odin could be seen looking at the pitiful state of his son and daughter-in-law. He could also see that the God of Mischief Loki looked as if he was scared of something. He did not know what happened to the God of Mischief Loki as his sight could not penetrate the Sanctum of Stars but he did see what happened to the God of Thunder Thor and the Goddess of Earth Sif.

The power that the Ice Queen Elona released was not something a normal mortal could do. The fact that she fused with an Ice Elemental King is already unprecedented as she had perfect control over it which means she outranks the elemental itself. The God King Odin already knew that there are many variables in a war of conquest but he did not expect that even gods will be heavily injured.

To make matters worse, the combined army of the God of Thunder Thor and the Goddess of Earth Sif were killed entirely. Only the rear army members were able to escape as they were the first to retreat. The three gods were not the only one that is harmed as even the God of War Tyr returned with heavy injuries. The God King Odin also learned the existence of his archenemy being alive in another body.

“The thing that infuriates me is the fact that Ymir managed to hold down the Beast of Ogdoad.” The God King Odin muttered as he suddenly sensed the presence of three powerful demons.

“Beings of the world, the Daemos has stayed silent while some of you have harmed this world but no more.” Elder Ascalor announced and it was not just to the Asgardians but his voice actually reverberated throughout the entirety of the world.

Some of the demon eyes that were used for surveillance suddenly became projector devices that can transmit video and audio. This is hardly ever done by the Daemos as using it means they demon eyes would be destroyed. It would cost the Daemos to create more demon eyes for surveillance but that is a valid price to pay to send the message across.

“The Asgardians have not only destroyed a part of the world barrier but they also harbor dangerous relics that can contact or call forth beings from the Void.” Elder Koronn announced which made all of the old powers of each kingdom shudder.

The demigods that protected their small kingdoms back in the days of old could clearly remember one incident back then. One of the kingdoms actually used an unknown relic that created a gateway to the Void. Some Void Monsters managed to escape to this realm and it created utter chaos. Numerous smaller kingdoms vanished or were destroyed overnight.

The Daemos had no other choice but to move and destroy the Void Monsters that spilled out. It also made the Daemos infamous because they destroyed the kingdom that created the rift to the Void in just one night. The entire kingdom had to be destroyed as the terraforming of the mortal realm has started and the only way to fix it was to erase everything.

“LIES!” The God King Odin shouted as he appeared before the three Daemos Elders.

The appearance of the God King Odin shocked the people because that meant that the Daemos Elders were on top of the kingdom of Asgard. They were confident enough to be present in enemy territory and even dared to speak bad about Asgard. This made an impression on all of those that were watching as it made all of them think that the demons are not afraid of the god kings.

“We tell no lie! We have read the Memory of the World and that god of mischief of yours used a relic that is forbidden.” Elder Bronx stated as he showed the recorded instance of the God of Mischief Loki using an unknown relic to escape from death. It also showed how Adrian got abducted by a monster but it was cut off before he got yanked inside of the Void.

“This is slander! They could have just created that image!” The God of Mischief Loki shouted from the safety of the castle walls as he dared not to venture out.

The God King Odin knew that the God of Mischief Loki has a relic like that but he did not expect that the usage of it will be captured. Everything would have been fine if the God of Mischief Loki was not caught. The God King Odin knows that he might be powerful but they were not ready for a full on confrontation with the Daemos at this very moment.
