Chapter 2727: The Frozen Kingdom Under Siege IV

Just as Brunhild is about to give up, a familiar figure appeared before her. A tall gigantic man with the body that is the same color as frozen ice. A beard that shines when light refracts to it and a very powerful fiery breath that can melt even steel. Even the God of War Tyr had to pause in disbelief as the being before him felt familiar or rather has the same energy as the Frost Giants.

“You would even dare to ally with a Frost Giant!” The God of War Tyr shouted as he felt that Brunhild disgraced the people of Asgard as the Frost Giants are enemies of Asgard and yet she is allied with one.

“I am not a Frost Giant, kiddo. You better clear your eyes as it is not the one that you lack. You lack your right hand not your sight.” Aurgelmir’s remark suddenly made the God of War Tyr flare up even more as he is already quite angry that what he believes as a Frost Giant has teamed up with a former Asgardian but he is even teased about his missing hand.

“Silence, Frost Giant! I shall wipe you away just like what I have done to the others!” The God of War Tyr shouted as he launched himself once more but this time it is Aurgelmir as the target.

The God of War Tyr believed that no Frost Giant can defeat him as he has killed a lot of them during the war with them. If the Frost Giants did not regenerate from the fragments of ice that scatter upon their death, then they would have already been extinct. The Asgardians seem to have a deep-seated hatred for the Frost Giants as if they are the offspring of the immortal enemy of the God King Odin.

“Once again, I am not a Frost Giant. I am a Jotunn!” Aurgelmir stated as he slammed his large hammer onto the God of War Tyr’s weapon.

The God of War Tyr that is very confident on his strength suddenly found himself being pressured by a being that he despises. He did not care if the being before him was a Frost Giant or not because Aurgelmir carries the same vibes as them. It is not farfetched to say that the Frost Giants are not related to the Jotunns as they did come from one ancestor which is Ymir.

Ymir created the Frost Giants though or rather is an unexpected accident creation of his. The Frost Giants were created from the drop of blood from Ymir’s large body. It was a mutation so peculiar that one could even say that Ymir must have obtained the status of a God of Life since he created life just from a drop of his blood. The aura of a Frost Giant that the God of War Tyr feels from Aurgelmir is the same hence the former calls the latter with that moniker.

“I will not lose to a FROST GIANT!” The God of War Tyr shouted as his power burst forth and his great sword is once again on his hands without being slammed down by Aurgelmir.

The God of War Tyr thought that he would be able to swing his sword again and hit the body of the frost giant before him but what greeted him is a large hammer to the face. The God of War Tyr suddenly saw a large hammer just a few inches away from his face when he recovered his weapon. The God of War Tyr is then directly smashed by the hammer but it also meant that he got sent flying. The body of the God of War Tyr started to roll on the ground as he lost consciousness for a moment since he got hit hard in the head.

“I will handle him for now. Head to where Frey is currently fighting. She cannot deal with the goddess that she is facing. She will need your help.” Aurgelmir stated as he looked at Brunhild.

“I ca help you defeat him! If we team up together then we will be able to get rid of him easily.” Brunhild stated as she believed that the best course of action is to fight together.

“That is a great idea but Frey will lose if she does not have anyone to support her. Your other sisters are busy defending other areas as there are other gods from Asgard that joined in this battle. Sif is not a puny goddess that can be underestimated as she killed Elemental Kings with her bare hands. Go and help Frey deal with Sif as killing her would also mean weakening the enemy further.” Aurgelmir stated as the God of War Tyr finally recovered from rolling around.

“If that is your wish then I shall respect it.” Brunhild stated as she called for her pegasus and immediately flew towards the direction where Frey and the Goddess of Earth Sif are fighting.

“You will not get away!” The God of War Tyr shouted as she suddenly jumped high to catch the escaping Brunhild but Aurgelmir opened his mouth.

Since the God of War Tyr was in the air and aerial combat is difficult even for him, he became a perfect easy target for Aurgelmir’s breath. A powerful flaming breath that could melt even adamantium hit the God of War Tyr. His entire body is suddenly engulfed in flames hotter than he ever imagined. The scream of agonizing pain echoed from the God of War Tyr.

The God of War Tyr that is about to catch Brunhild suddenly fell to the ground and rolled around the ice to cool off the fire that is burning his body directly. The God of War Tyr could not believe that there was a fire capable of scorching his body. If not for his status as a greater god right now then he would have filled with burns all over. His divine body is protecting him from any sort of burns at the moment but that cannot last.
