Chapter 2711: Divine Beings from the Northern Area

“There are other beings coming from the trees! In the northern area of the territory!” Adrian stated as it seems that another force has come to lay waste or claim his territory.

Just as Adrian sensed, another group of divine beings have come to claim his territory. It is not just him that sensed this but also the elves that are guarding the territory as well. The elven blood in their veins sensed the divine energy relating to nature that is now going towards them.

The beings that pierced through the forest area were none other than beings that have nature energy in their bodies. One of the beings is a large cyclops that has a closed eye but it seems that he could still move despite not opening it. Another is a horseman that could be described as a very beautiful man but his cold nature makes it difficult to like him.

Accompanying the two divine beings is an army of Treants that are of different size and shapes. Some treants were even created using the trees from the forest that they have come from. Adrian did not expect that two groups of divine beings are now trying to conquer his own territory. He did not even know who they are or how he offended them but he could only deduce the reasoning.

“They are part of the factions that have allied with the God King Odin. No wonder that eye-patched old man was confident that we would not be able to attack him.” Adrian stated as he remembered the teasers that was released.

If he could deduce that it is the God King Odin that is one of the gods in the teasers then the other two must be related to the Southern Continent Asuras and the nature gods that are hostile to mortals. Not all nature gods are all for life as some care more for the flora, fauna, and beasts than the lives of humans. The fact that the God King Odin managed to rope in two powerful forces without opposition means only one thing.

“Even their opposing gods are now observing as they are also greedy as well.” Adrian stated even though there is no evidence to suggest otherwise.

Adrian did not come to this conclusion hastily because he at least know that the southern continent is filled with gods and their temples. The fact that a large number of Asura and their followers are sailing from it means that there must have been a shift in power in the southern continent. Adrian does not know about the nature gods are different from the Gods of Life and Death as they are the gods that were sealed inside the ground, lakes, or trees when the world itself was sealed.

“The fact that all of them are working together is not a good thing for us, boy. We are now fighting two opposing fronts and we are caught in the middle. Can you take care of the northern area with the elves?” Elder Ascalor asked.

“I can try but I will not promise victory.” Adrian stated as he vanished from his location and called upon all of his guild members.

“I should greet the travelers. I can at least buy an hour of time while the other two are getting information from those two Asuras.” Elder Ascalor stated as he motioned his hands gracefully to bend space to his will.

All the flying ships and the seafaring ships that would have reached Avalon in half an hour suddenly found themselves looping in the same area. At first, they found this strange but they became certain when they could not move forward for the past ten minutes. The flying ships and the seafaring ships does not only carry NPCs but also players that are allied with the Asura.

The players allied with the Asura thought that they would be invincible since two of the divine beings would escort them but it seems they have overestimated themselves. Bhasmasura and Vritra was supposed to escort them closer to the flying islands as soon as they completed their pre-emptive attack. The signal for the pre-emptive attack has been done but the two Asuras did not return to the fleet to escort them.

“Something is wrong. The two divine ones did not return and we are not moving closer to our destination.” One of the fleet commanders stated.

“We cannot retreat! It must be the work of that demon! Attack him!” Another fleet commander shouted as the flying ships and seafaring ships used their long-ranged attacks to aim directly at Elder Ascalor.

The flying ships and seafaring ships all had a magic unit onboard which could fire off spells from a distance. Since the commands given to them was to aim at the demon then they all aimed their offensive spells at the demon flying in front of the territory that they are claiming. Powerful elemental spells swept across the skies and the seas and all of them were aimed towards a single demon.

What they did not know is that this single demon has already re-arranged the laws of space in the area around them. The destruction of the world divine barrier in the northern continent did damage some of the stronger Daemos but it also unlocked more of their potential as they are no longer sealed by the world divine barrier as well.

All of the spells that they released did go straight towards Elder Ascalor but all they suddenly found themselves hit by the very same offensive spells they cast. All of the mages onboard the fleet could not believe what happened because they did not even detect their magic bouncing back. It was like their own spells vanished in space and then appeared from behind them which hit their fleet.

If not for the barriers that each of their flying ships and seafaring ships had then they would have been shot down. All of the mages finally learned what happened and suddenly felt goosebumps because they were now trapped inside a mobius loop created by the demon before them. They could not move from their location because they are circling back and forth in the space designated as the mobius strip.

“So, they finally noticed. I guess they have decent mages on board but that will not stop me from attacking your fleet. I guess the boy can handle those tree suckers with those elves.” Elder Ascalo stated as he started to prepare the next spell as soon as the mobius loop he created is undone.

“State your reason for coming to my territory. If you are unable to give a reasonable explanation then you will be met with hostile force.” Adrian stated as he released his aura in full display since he is now before beings with divine energy.

The divine beings with nature energy did not even bother talking to Adrian. The gigantic cyclopse just opened its eyes and stared directly at Adrian and released a powerful natural curse aimed at him. All of the elves suddenly panicked as they felt this natural curse being sent towards their territory lord. The dark elves created a cursed barrier around Adrian but it got destroyed easily upon clashing with the natural curse fired off by the eye of the cyclops.

“Is the demon dead, Bress?” The cyclops asked.

“I hope for our sake, Balor. I rather deal with these pointy eared tree huggers than a demon. They are always a pain to deal with. Your evil eye is something that even the other Fomorians are wary of. Why do you think it would not work against a demon?” Bress stated.

“My evil eye is not omnipotent, Bress. There are restrictions to such power and you know that.” Balor stated.

“I know but do you think that such a demon would know that. Let us clean up these mortals and claim the Daur tree or else those from the barbaric south would be first. They did start this clash after all.” Bress stated but he suddenly tensed up when a powerful killing intent surged from the direction of the demon.

“My Evil Eye did not work.” Balor immediately stated as he could feel that there was no fluctuation of natural curse in the direction of the demon.

“What do you mean it did not work?! The only way that your evil eye will not work is if another being has an evil eye!” Bress stated which made him shiver.

The two Fomorians felt the surge of killing intent and the appearance of eight different large beasts that looked furious. In the middle of the eight large beasts was a demon with his eyes containing a magic circle of unknown origins. A magic circle that no mage will ever decipher as ocular magic like the evil eye is incredibly rare and only one of each person can have it.

“It seems that you are here to conquer my territory but I will not let that happen. I shall take that evil eye as compensation for trespassing.” Adrian stated in a cold tone as he unleashed his soulbounds towards the army before him.
