Chapter 2666: Against the Corrupted Yellow Emperor I

Adrian’s large body melted any physical attack or object that comes in contact with it. This made it the perfect shield when it comes to dealing with the attacks that the Corrupted Yellow Emperor is using. Even if the attacks of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor still have some traces of magic in it which damages his hyper corrosive body, Anastacia with Saena’s support would just easily recover all of the health lost.

Seeing the healers in action, the Corrupted Yellow Emperor tried to kill them as well but Adrian easily split apart a smaller version of his current form to send towards Anastacia as protection. For Saena, she could easily hide inside the nether domain when she uses what she learned about energy from the memories she got from the Vermillion Bird.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor will not be stopped with just that though as even Adrian’s soulbounds could not break its defenses. Seeing that even with powerful beasts attacking it and having no effect, the Corrupted Yellow Emperor believed that he just needed to make everything around him explode. It might somewhat destroy the Golden Palace but recovering it will just need to take more time than usual.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor started to gather energy from the ley lines once again as it wanted to make everything around it explodes with its own energy. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor could not use its own energy to power up its attacks because everything would fall apart. In fact, all of the energy that the Corrupted Yellow Emperor is using right now to maintain the palace, the soldiers, the control over the people of the eastern continent are all due to the energy taken from the ley lines or dragon veins.

“It seems that pesky entity is still blocking my control. To think that it managed to slow me down in gathering energy. No wonder, I feel that my control over these sand soldiers have weakened.” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor thought to itself as it would have only taken it a few seconds to divert energy from the ley line to its own body but there is suddenly a restriction.

“It seems that you have forgotten about me.” A voice that is calm yet chilling could suddenly be heard by the Corrupted Yellow Emperor next to him.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor did not feel the killing intent nor the energy of this individual. It was like they were part of the surroundings themselves in perfect harmony. This being was none other than Ain as his palm slammed down on the barrier of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor. The barrier that even Adrian’s soulbounds could not crack suddenly got shattered and sent the Corrupted Yellow Emperor crashing to a wall.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor was not able to react fast enough as it was sent flying backwards. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor is not damaged greatly because it has another outer shell that mitigated the damage but it felt humiliated. A mortal being was able to shatter its outer barrier that even divine beasts could not yet a mortal was able to do so.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor recovered immediately and sent the cracked pieces of the wall as shards directed towards Ain. The golden wall shards were thousands in number but Ain did not panic as he looked extremely calm. The sound of a water droplet could be heard as Ain performed a circular martial art maneuver. Ain was able to create some sort of flow around him which converted everything around him into aura.

The thousands of shards were not deflected nor destroyed but its flow was redirected by Ain back to the Corrupted Yellow Emperor. The thousands of golden shards reversed their direction as if Ain guided them back in a gentle flowing stream. It was the perfect use of aura that no one has ever seen before.

The numerous golden shards flew back towards the one that launched it but the Corrupted Yellow Emperor could not stop or reverse the flow like what Ain did. This developed the frustration of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor even further as a mortal actually managed to control objects that are under its control. This was like a slap in the face for the Corrupted Yellow Emperor as it was supposed to have absolute control over its own domain.

Seeing that it cannot regain control of the shards, the Corrupted Yellow Emperor used brute force and released its own dragon breath once again. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor opened its mouth wide as a dark golden beam eradicated everything in a straight line. The dragon breath even reached Ain’s location which he tried to redirect but noticed that the power of the dragon breath is too tyrannical. Ain had to evade gracefully by a few inches as he just let the dragon breath fly pass him to hit the wall behind.

“You! Who is your master! Skills like that is not normal even for a Martial Sage! Only the Celestial Fox clan have that kind of control!” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor shouted as mortals should not have that kind of mastery over aura.

The only being that the Corrupted Yellow Emperor know that could utilize aura that way is the Celestial Fox Clan that it has eradicated before. The Celestial Fox Clan were powerful divine beasts that actually ranked next to the Yellow Emperor as they have immense mastery over aura or internal energy. They were also the first one to be eradicated when it became the Corrupted Yellow Emperor so that no one could stand on its way.

Ain’s form also somewhat resembles what the Celestial Fox clan wear when they take on human form. A long robe decorated with jade and silver while having fox motifs embroidered in it. Ain’s robe also has nine slits that creates the illusion of it flowing like nine tails which each being white in color. Also, the fact that nine flowing aura tails could be seen behind Ain made the Corrupted Yellow Emperor believed that he might actually be a Celestial Fox in a mortal’s body.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor also remembered that the Celestial Fox clan are also masters of Soul Arts because they have mastery over their aura. They can create soul weapons using their purest soul form. This made the Corrupted Yellow Emperor believe that the Celestial Fox Clan might be eradicated as divine beasts but they must have lived as mortals like the fallen gods of the eastern continent.

“I do not know what you are saying because my master already vanished before he could even teach me everything.” Ain stated as his master only left him a manual that lets him unlock his current form.

This form is Ain’s most powerful battle stance currently but it is only at the first stage. He already unlocked his third job advancement but it is in an incomplete state. He needed to find his master to fully unlock his third job class advancement which is why even he is not confident when going against divine beings like the one before him.

Still, the current form of Ain is what a player that has advanced to their third job class has achieved. A form that could go against a being with divine energy all by themselves and he is proving it now. Ain did not even care about questions of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor and just moved his body to attack.

If the Ain before moved frivolously and in an eye catching manner, the current Ain moved without any imperfections. All movements had no wasted muscle movement as he reached the absolute state of body perfection. Even the Corrupted Yellow Emperor would admit that the Martial Sage that it ridiculed earlier is now almost on equal footing to it. The fact that one palm strike could shatter the outer barrier that the Corrupted Yellow Emperor is testament to how powerful the attack is.

“I have played with all you for long enough.” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor stated but it was actually in a state where it doubts what could happen next.

“Too late!” Siegfried shouted as his entire body burned hot as he slammed his gigantic molten axe towards the floor.

As soon as Siegfried’s molten axe hit the floor, Adrian immediately absorbed Ain and Anastacia into the cloned bodies near them and vanished into the nether mist. Siegfried actually told him that he was too reckless and that this attack would indiscriminately affect all of them inside the area of the Golden Palace. Fortunately, Adrian could stop time to rescue the others and keep them safe.

When the molten axe burrowed into the floor, all of the heat that was compressed in it is released. The entire golden palace suddenly became hot before a powerful explosion of heat blew everything up. The explosion was so powerful that it even affected those that were fighting outside the area as Siegfried’s attack made the earth rumble violently. The heat below the sands even exploded like a volcano as a large belch of smoke arose.
