Chapter 2560: The Dark Moon III

“Is there something wrong, little Erebus?” Adrian asked as the baby Erebus suddenly looked sad when he talked about going to the realm where relic was forged.

“Is restoring it really necessary?” The Baby Erebus asked.

“Yes, as restoring this relic will lead me to the relic that we demons have lost. I need the creation relic for the Daemos.” Adrian stated with absolute confidence because what he said is true.

The Daemos creation relic must be found because Adrian can feel it. The Daemos are expending more and more of their own power to seal the world. He is also holding on well because he is blessed by the Twin Gods. His blessing makes him unable to be disturbed by the effects of the world seal unlike the other Daemos.

Even the Daemos children are suffering from the effects of the world seal weakening. The Daemos are overturning the effects of the weakening world seal by eating twice as much. The food in Avalon is rich in mana which makes it possible for them to thrive here. Still, it also means that the demons would only be isolated in Avalon should something dire happen to the world seal.

The weakening world seal also takes much energy from the Daemos as there are now few Lesser Demons evolving into Greater Demons. The world has become bigger, but the number of greater demons is not increasing in proportion to the world. There might even come a time that no demons will ever be naturally born because there is no creation relic to stabilize them.

“I can lead you to that realm. The Realm of the Moon and Stars. A place that I hold dear in my heart. Eridanus.” The Baby Erebus stated as he now has a resolute looking face.

“I do not have the coordinates for that realm though. Do you know a way to get there?” Adrian asked.

“Carry me, uncle.” The Baby Erebus stated, and Adrian did as he was told.

As soon as Adrian held onto the baby Erebus, the baby suddenly slapped Adrian’s cheeks but it did not hurt. The slap felt like two soft pillows smooshing Adrian’s cheeks, but it was actually the Baby Erebus’ way to transfer the coordinates. Adrian’s eyes suddenly turned completely dark until there were small sparkling stars in it.

Adrian was suddenly transported to a realm where only stars could be seen but there was also a broken moon in it. When he gazed upon the broken moon, Adrian suddenly felt the tears coming out of his eyes as he suddenly felt sad. In that place, Adrian saw a man that looked like he was in his thirties looking at the moon with a longing gaze. Adrian wanted to ask the man, but he suddenly got pulled back to main world.

“Why are you suddenly crying?” Solstice asked as she proceeded to take out a cloth and wipe Adrian’s tears like a caring older sister.

“Did you get the coordinates?” Lycan asked as it seems that the Baby Erebus imparted a memory to Adrian.

“Yes. I think I can go there now but I might need the help of the other elders. Also, are you certain?” Adrian stated as he then looked at the Baby Erebus for the last question.

“Yes. If this will help my family, then we must proceed with it.” The Baby Erebus stated.

“Okay then. Please wait while I ask the help of Old Man Pann.” Adrian stated as he vanished from the guild house.

“Why did your uncle ask you if you were certain?” Solstice asked as she was curious why Adrian would ask Erebus that specific question.

“Uncle just wants to ask if I am fine traveling there since memories of past life is connected there.” Erebus stated as it seems he was hiding something, but Solstice did not want to probe.

“You know… I thought a talking baby would be easy to take care of, but it seems that is not true. Anyways, if you need to tell me something then… do not be shy. I am your mother after all.” Solstice stated as she smiled.

“I am back with backup! Come on, work with me grandpa! Your great grandchild needs help.” Adrian stated as he was basically dragging Old Man Pann.

“Huh? Since when you have you become a father, brat!” Old Man Pann stated in shock.

“It was not me who had a child but my sister.” Adrian stated as he pointed towards Erebus which made Old Man Pann’s blood jump because the baby had more Asmodian blood than him.

“So, this little demon is the one that I sensed earlier.” Old Man Pann stated as he poked Erebus’ cheeks.

“I am not a demon, old man.” The Baby Erebus stated.

“It can talk!” Old Man Pann shouted as he never seen babies that could talk.

“I will explain it to you after what we are doing is done. For now, I need your help to pierce through a semi-divine realm.” Adrian stated.

“Do you even have permission from the godly being that owns it, you brat?! We might get disintegrated if we are not careful.” Old Man Pann asked.

“We have the permission, but I need another demon that has divine energy in their body to maintain the portal from his side. Please, grandpa.” Adrian stated with a pitiful voice as he only uses this secret weapon on Old Man Pann when he really needs something. Old Man Pann might look rigid and strict on the outside, but he actually spoils Adrian a lot.

“Please great grandpa!” The Baby Erebus stated with his cute voice which made Old Man Pann get a double dose of cuteness, but he made sure to have his reaction be stiff.

“Since you are begging me to do it then I do not mind doing so. The other brats cannot help you since they are off doing other things.” Old Man Pann stated as the other Daemos Elders were busy with their own tasks.
