Chapter 2546: Blood Dragon Versus Nether II

The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico started to fall down and all of those that could see his large body immediately knew that they would be flattened should they get hit by that. All of the beings immediately fled in order to save themselves from the crashing ancient dragon. The vampires and werewolves in Adrian’s side are no exception to this as they became frantic to look for a safe location.

When the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico was only a few meters from the ground, the allied vampires and werewolves that could not flee in time were already accepting their fate. They did not know that a large wolf suddenly howled, and all of their shadows suddenly dragged them to the shadow realm. The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico crashed to the ground with a loud thud and all of the beings that were unable to escape were crushed into meat pastes.

Adrian did not stop there as he knew that the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico is not yet dead. Nether mist enveloped the land as he fired off an arrow into the skies. The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico suddenly started to wake up from his momentary unconsciousness and saw numerous stars in the sky. These were not stars though as all of these are arrows created by Adrian’s Stardust Rain.

The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico tried to dodge but he suddenly found himself bound by thick vines and chains. The chains were difficult enough to escape from because it drained his health and mana, but the vines actually gripped at his soul as well. Beings that could do this should be one in a million, yet they are all in servitude of a demon.

“Bloody Scream!” The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico shouted as a powerful screech was emitted by his three heads.

All of the heads of the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico created a sonic barrier that destroyed any being that was inside or near him. It also destroyed the vampires and Strigoi that were there to help him. The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico was able to defend against the attack that Adrian did, but he also deleted his army in the process. All the beings that were in the area of the Bloody Scream literally turned into a bloody mess as they became mush.

The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico managed to free himself using the Bloody Scream as well, but two Shooting Stars suddenly blasted him directly in the face. The skill should have pierced the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico but the magic protection of a true dragon is not a joke. The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico knew he will not win at this rate as the enemy is literally hiding in the mist.

“Blood Catastrophe!” The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico shouted as it finally used its powerful spell.

The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico suddenly made one of its heads explode and all of the energy within that head came inside of its own body. A powerful eruption of draconic force made of red mana destroyed everything in its path. It even managed to obliterate the nether mist in the area which revealed Adrian and his soulbounds for a few minutes. His reckless actions also resulted in the destruction of more Strigoi and vampires that are under him.

The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico could see two demons holding bows which made him dumbfounded. Demons are famous for being unable to use spells as they can only use arcane magic. The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico refuses to believe that the demon suddenly multiplied itself which means that one of it is a fake. Furious that he cannot determine which is the real demon, the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico commanded all of the remaining Strigoi to come to him.

“It is trying to heal itself again.” Adrian thought as he looked at Dodu who was copying him perfectly.

The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico would have succeeded in getting more health to absorb if not for Kanlaon and Saena’s combined attack. Rays of light suddenly pierced through the crowd and burned the Strigoi that the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico called upon. To add more to the death toll of the Strigoi, Kimat released powerful lightning to rain down on the area which also boiled the blood right out of any living beings hit.

Seeing that the fodder that he called upon will not be able to heal him, the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico finally took matters to the maximum. The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico knew that it will not be able to win against this demon with normal attacks. Even its most powerful spell earlier was evaded quite easily.

“You have forced me into using my final form!” The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico shouted as his entire body suddenly melted into a large pool of blood that was the blood lake.

The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico’s form earlier was actually just a simplified version of its most powerful form. All of a sudden, seven bloody dragon heads with long necks emerged from the blood lake. Each of the seven blood dragon heads also released a powerful roar that afflicted a stacking dragon fear effect. It even affected Adrian but only once as negating six dragon fear stacks basically chipped off even his resistance.

[You have been afflicted with 50% less healing and health regeneration received.]

“This time… YOU will be the one to perish!” All seven dragon heads of the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico stated as all of them lunged towards Adrian and his soulbounds.

Two dragon heads prioritized Adrian and Dodu because they look the same and the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico knew that killing the summoner would also kill the soulbounds. When two heads were not enough to kill each of them, the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico used two more heads for each. The remaining head became the lookout to check for any sort of magic or attack.

Dodu cannot keep up with the numerous dragon heads even with the support of the other soulbounds in stopping the heads. Seeing that Dodu cannot use his own body correctly, Adrian knew that he needed to command it to stop copying him. Dodu did not want to comply, but Adrian told him to copy another being entirely. Upon hearing the command of his master, Dodu immediately nodded and changed to his original form and proceeded to drop to the ground.

Seeing that the other demon was a slime all along, the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico shifted all of its attention to Adrian. The demon was clever to use a slime as a decoy earlier but now he was clearly visible. All of the dragon heads of the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico aimed towards Adrian without any rest. Each of them was made from blood itself which meant that they are incredibly fluid and flexible.

“Wisteria! Send them to a safer location!” Adrian shouted as he could no longer hold the numerous vampires and werewolves that he saved earlier.

All of the vampires and werewolves that were sent to the shadow realm suddenly got offloaded on the large back of Wisteria. They immediately sailed the skies as Wisteria needed to get them to a safe location. The Strigoi and the enemy vampires were not yet completely wiped out. Adrian needed the help which is why more lackeys for its master would be better.

“You are dead!” All of the dragon heads stated as they released breath attacks that sprayed some sort of blood acid which actually destroyed Adrian’s defenses.

Adrian was afflicted by the Bloody Acid three times, and it reduced a good portion of his defenses and some of his health. Still, Adrian did not falter because Wisteria has already sent the allied vampires and werewolves to a safe spot where they could join the culling of Strigoi. Also, Dodu has finally dropped fully into the blood lake. Adrian smiled as he knew that everything worked out well because his soulbounds are also done with the enemies around them.

“Transform to your heart’s content, Dodu.” Adrian commanded as the literal body of the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico was the blood lake itself.
