Chapter 2541: Consorts of the Blood Queen I

While Adrian became the distraction above ground, the guild members hid inside the pocket dimension of the mirror that Adrian created. They were attached to the vampire that was going deeper in the cave. This plan was thought by Adrian when he became much better in creating pocket dimensions. This is not permanent though as the pocket dimension can only last for five minutes before all of them are expelled out.

“I am here to report!” The vampire with the invisible mirror on his back shouted and got the attention of the consorts that stood guard of the main chamber.

“What is all the ruckus outside?! Did her majesty not tell you to have those beasts in control? The Blood Dragon already made them tame, but you riled them up again!” The consort stated.

“No! We are not the ones that made the Strigoi get crazy. There is a demon above ground that is wreaking havoc.” The vampire stated.

“A demon? What is the demon doing here? Are making excuses because of your failures?” Another consort asked.

“I am not lying. You can behead me if you think I am making this up.” The vampire stated with pure desperation which actually made the guarding consorts believe him.

“I will report it to the queen then. For now, stall the demon or else he might enter this place. Still, why are you unable to kill one demon?” One of the consorts that had demigod level power asked.

“He is not an ordinary demon as the hordes of Strigoi could not even touch him. He has two pairs of wings, and his horns look like a crown.” The vampire stated.

“Ohoh! We have an Arch Demon enemy in our midst.” A voice that is raspy and dark suddenly stated which made all of the beings in the area incredibly tense.

“Do you think it is true, blood dragon?” The demigod turned vampire asked.

“Arch Demons are usually described as four winged when they are of a certain species. If an Arch Demon is really here, then those dregs will only become fodder for him. I will have to move which means that all of you will need to protect my beloved. I did feel a powerful curse seep into the ground, but demons do not do curses which is why I just waited here to see who cast that.

It seems that the curse spell user and the demon are working together. Make sure to guard this entrance with your life or else I will personally kill all of you when I am done with the demon.” The Blood Dragon Sanguico stated as his humanoid body suddenly dissolved into blood and vanished.

“We were cursed?!” The vampire consorts suddenly asked each other as they did not feel they were cursed at all.

“I should follow the great blood dragon since I have reported the problem. I am needed there for support just in case there are others that are helping the demon.” The vampire stated as he turned back.

When the vampire turned back, the invisibility of the mirror finally came off and the vampire consorts suddenly saw the mirror behind the vampire that reported. The mirror even gleamed because it reflected the light that is in the ceiling. With the mirror finally being seen, the vampire consorts suddenly stopped the vampire from leaving.

“What is that behind you? Is that a mirror?” One of the vampire consorts stated as he pointed towards the back of the vampire.

“Huh? Arrgh!” The vampire exclaimed as a hand suddenly came out of the mirror and slammed him to the ground.

A lady with crimson hair suddenly came out of the mirror and proceeded to kill the vampire with the mirror on his back. The vampire consorts instantly knew who this was as they have read the reports about her. She was the notorious vampire queen candidate that kills other blood queens.

“It is Solstice! She came! Everyone in position!” One of the consorts shouted as they took out their weapons, but Solstice was not the only one.

The mirror suddenly shattered and released a dazzling light that slightly blinded the vampire consorts. The vampire consorts suddenly saw that the room was filled with numerous people all having the insignia of a tree that is half vibrant and half rotting. A battle immediately erupted at the first gate of the main chamber of the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha.

“Go! We will handle this.” Some of the Pantheon guild members stated as there are only a handful of enemies in this floor which is why ten of them decided to stay and fight.

“I owe you guys! Let us proceed.” Solstice commanded as she knew that they have already lost the element of surprise. They needed to cut the head of the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha as fast as they can while they are still unprepared. The others nodded as they know that time is of the essence and that they trust the other guild members.

Meanwhile above ground, Adrian could be seen killing enemies by cutting off the portals he creates when they pass through midway. He also made use of the increase in gravity around him to make sure that no one can sneak pass him. He believed that they would be able to cull all of this monsters in two hours, but he suddenly felt a powerful surge of mana from below.

“What is that?” Adrian muttered as he looked below him and saw that the red lake suddenly started bubbling.

“Master! Fly high!” Kanlaon shouted via their soul link which prompted Adrian to use his wings to instantly push himself upwards.

It was a good thing that Kanlaon warned Adrian as a large dragon head made with blood suddenly sprang up from the blood lake. This bloody dragon head wanted to devour Adrian in one fell swoop. As soon as the dragon head did not achieve its desire, it immediately released a powerful roar that announced its presence.
