After Adrian has given the Fates what they needed to untangle the threads of fate for all the people that died, he immediately returned to oversee the dead. The confused crowd of souls from the fallen warriors have finally settled down. They were rather erratic at first, but Levin Cloud managed to convey the issue at hand.

All of the dead warriors rejoiced upon learning that they would be revived once again. This is also the reason why Adrian isolated them in a special spot in Limbo so that they will not encounter other souls. The souls of all the fallen warriors had a special light inside of them that has taken root, and this is from the Blessed Leaf of the Tree of Life and Death.

This special light is none other than the purest form of life and death energy that have settled into their souls. This purest form of life and death energy also became more intense when emotions have settled inside of it. One could say that the warriors incubated this life energy within them as they needed it to basically bloom for what happens in their deaths.

Adrian split the energy of life and death from all of the souls as per the knowledge given to him by the Tree of Life and Death Yewdrassil. All of the life energy was condensed in the bead that he gave to the Fates. That condensed life energy contained all of the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of all those that have fallen. This is particularly valuable to the Fates as they use those very energy to string the looms of fate.

The Fates would not have been moved with simple life energy, and they would have stormed to kill Adrian should he not have something they can call a treasure. The death energy settled into the souls of the fallen warriors but that is what Adrian needs to sacrifice so that the miracle of rebirth comes. Since they still technically died, the energy of the souls of those that perished is needed to placate the death realms.

Adrian waved his hand, and a beautiful black energy came out of all the perished warriors. The energy looked like a gentle black flame that brings comfort to all. He then proceeded to craft all of these energies into coins that contained the likeness of the perished warriors. These coins are basically the toll that one needs to pay in the afterlife, but Adrian crafted them for another reason.

[The Tree of Life has been located in the mortal realm.]

“It finally appeared!” Levin Cloud shouted as he was waiting for that notification to pop out.

“I thought it would never be created.” Adrian replied.

“You should cut Anastacia some slack as they were still battling the Primordial Beast of Envy when all of us died.” Levin Cloud stated which was heard by all of the perished warriors.

“The primordial beasts are dead! Hurray!” A group of warriors shouted for joy as they felt that their sacrifice was worth it when they had killed powerful beasts that could destroy a continent.

“Since the connection has been established, form a line as we need you to enter this gate. You need to hold onto your coins upon entering so that you can return back to the mortal realm.” Adrian stated as he created a gate crafted with vines that are ornately decorated with red spider lilies.

“Are we really getting revived? I thought it was only those blessed ones that have this ability. The Church of the Twin Gods are really powerful to even have the ability to do so.” Some of the warriors stated as they started gossiping but all of it was caught by Adrian’s ears as he can hear everything in Limbo.

“This is a one time offer that can only happen once per soul. You cannot be brought back to life again if you perished another time. This is in accordance with the ancient laws of the world that has been etched into reality itself. Do you not know of the heroes of your stories that came back from the afterlife?” Adrian stated as this kind of revival is not new.

In myths and legends, heroes from all walks of life have returned back to the land of the living using a special way. This can only happen when all things align perfectly such as the Fates not causing a stir and the blessing of Tree of Life and Death Yewdrassil. If one of these are not met, then the revival will not happen. This is also the reason why Adrian made sure that all NPCs ingest the pill completely.

“What if we wish to join our gods in their paradise?” One of the Priests of War asked.

“Apologies but that cannot happen as you are not truly dead in a sense. You died but your spirits are not being claimed by the afterlife. If that were the case, then the thousands of gods of death would have invaded Limbo already.” Adrian replied but he only softly muttered the last sentence to himself.

“We promised the goddess to meet her in Elysium, and we died as warriors so that is enough for us.” Another of the Priests of War stated.

“Do anybody else have the same sentiment?” Adrian asked as he looked at the crowd but only some of the Priests of War are raising their hands.

“Brothers and Sisters, why are not raising your hands?” One of the higher members of the Priests of War asked as she was the vessel of the Goddess of War Bellona. She was ready to die when she stepped up to the role that came from being the chosen vessel. She wished to be with the Goddess Bellona in Elysium.

“You should not have a say on those that want to live and die. It should only be your choice alone should you wish to truly walk to the afterlife. Asking others to come with you is a crime that will send you the depths of the Punishing Death Realms. The realms where the countless souls of sinners are tortured all day.” Adrian reminded the Chief Priestess of War.

“Apologies as I thought that all of us will make the same choice. It is my blind devotion to think that all of us have no lingering feelings to the life of the living. I am sorry, my brothers and sisters.” The Chief Priestess of War stated as she actually bowed down to those in lower position than her.

“Actually, the reason I do not want to die yet, sister… I feel like I did not do much and prove my bravery as much as I think I did. I feel like I will not be welcomed in Elysium as I am now.” One of the priests stated.

“I have the same thought as well which is why I believe having a chance to earn more merits shall give me a better chance.” Another priest of war stated.

“I am sorry for my rudeness, our patron gods! It is foolish of me to even think that I have the right to say that we will all go to Elysium.” The Chief Priestess stated.

“All of you are already worthy of going to Elysium.” Adrian stated which shocked the Priests of War.

“Is that true, Respected Mediator?” The Chief Priestess of War asked.

“That is true as those words came from the God of War Ares himself, but he also said that he will not welcome you just yet. If you do not believe me then see the message that he left all of you.” Adrian replied as he snapped his fingers.

Flames suddenly roared as a silhouette of a three-meter-tall man with bulging muscles and the perfect physique appeared. One can even say that this flaming silhouette is alive as it felt like it is. One can even see that the flaming silhouette looked at Adrian before it finally started to speak.

“Warriors! Use this chance to live again and fight to your hearts content! When the time is right, I will personally welcome you from the gates of Elysium.” The flaming silhouette of the God of War Ares stated in a rather unrefined manner unlike his counterpart.

“Yes! We shall do our best and fight to our hearts content once more!” The Chief Priestess of War stated, and the other priests followed as well. You can even hear them cry tears of joy as they were acknowledged by one of the chief gods.

“Since all are going to reincarnate, let the revival begin.” Adrian stated as he split himself into two.

Adrian’s Netheros half stayed in Limbo to operate the revival gate while his Aetheros self has used the spell with Levin Cloud and Anastacia. All of the perished warriors were revived after the spell was finished. The tears of joy from being alive once again has echoed in the area as the victory against the two primordial beasts created another round of celebration.
