The Goddess of War Bellona led the charge towards the Primordial Beast of Sloth. The Primordial Beast of Sloth is not a primordial beast that could be said to be very active even when it is attacking. This led to the army to think that the Primordial Beast of Sloth is severely weakened and will not retaliate as much.

The Primordial Beast of Sloth is literally a large sponge for damage as all it did was stand there and endure the attacks. It would try to attack via an energy bomb ten minutes or so, but the movement of the Primordial Beast of Sloth is slow enough that most of the people have already time to evade. The large health pool of the Primordial Beast of Sloth started to slowly drop down as the number of people attacking it has increased.

The Primordial Beast of Sloth did not even care to do any type of evasion anymore as it just started to use an attack that is not familiar with anyone present. The shell of the Primordial Beast of Sloth suddenly glowed as each attack that hit it would make it shine. At first, the warriors thought that it was merely the Primordial Beast of Sloth using mana as a way to blind its attackers as the light is intense. What they did not know is that the actual skill is more terrifying than that.

The health of the Primordial Beast of Sloth suddenly dropped to 60% and the light from its shell suddenly went from light blue to dark blue. The shell that the others thought was a means of distraction or protection suddenly exploded with a powerful energy wave. All the beings that were near the Primordial Beast of Sloth suddenly got sent flying away as the impact was greater than the actual damage.

All the beings that were near the Primordial Beast of Sloth at that time were sent flying by at least fifty meters away. Those hit by the energy is also damaged by half of their maximum health as a baseline if you are closer to the Primordial Beast of Sloth. The farther ones but were still caught in the radius of the explosion were all dealt at least 20% of their maximum health as damage.

This is not the end as the Primordial Beast of Sloth suddenly roared as it was triumphant in swatting away the initial flies that dared to attack its body. The shell of the Primordial Beast of Sloth suddenly glowed light blue once again but this is different from before. A manifestation of all the damage dealt by the Primordial Beast of Sloth also returned back to it as health regeneration.

The large health bar of the Primordial Beast of Sloth suddenly started to move but not in a downward trend that everybody wants. The health bar of the Primordial Beast of Sloth suddenly started to increase by small increments. The only good thing about this is the fact that all the health recovered by the Primordial Beast of Sloth cannot overlap. This means that the Primordial Beast of Sloth will not have an infinite health regeneration glitch.

“The gates! They are starting to become unstable!” One of the greater demons stated as the gates really did become quite unstable because of the powerful release of energy from the Primordial Beast of Sloth.

It is not just the Primordial Beast of Sloth that released a powerful blast of energy as the Primordial Beast of Envy also did the same. Adrian peeked at the other side and that side was incredibly filled with poisonous mist. One could say that the filtering enchantment of the portals still works as the poison mist is only contained on the other side.

“The dimension has become unstable. There is some interference from something. I need to fix it before it creates large rifts in this area. Can you handle the enemy for at least an hour?” Elder Ascalor asked.

“Go for now, elder. The stability of the gates is what will determine if we will truly live.” Adrian replied as Elder Ascalor nodded.

Elder Ascalor entered the area between dimensions as the anomaly came from that side. Adrian is left by himself, but he is fine because he already summoned his soulbounds to help him. He unleased Sirius, Kanlaon, and Kenos for now. They needed more damage dealers, and he needed Kenos for the assistance. Adrian might have visibility of the battlefield but that does not mean he can save everyone in a timely manner.

“It has started.” Adrian thought as this is one of the unfortunate situations that they have thought of.

They might initially be immune to the effects of the auras of the primordial beasts, but prolonged exposure would definitely break down their defenses. The auras of the Primordial Beasts of Sin are not ordinary as they even bypassed Adrian’s resistances to negative status ailments. The only way that one can truly be immune to the auras of the primordial beasts of sin is to be built different.

“Clergy unit! Start the Casting of Wide Cleanse every ten minutes.” Adrian commanded as this was the way to counteract the effects of a status ailment that can bypass resistances.

“Let the world be cleansed from impurities! Wide Cleanse!” All of the members of the clergy unit chanted as they were able to clear the effects of the status ailment. With Levin Cloud leading that unit in this area then they will have no problem getting continuous heals and purifications.

“Tch! So, it can return at an instant.” Adrian muttered as the negative status abnormalities actually returned. In under ten minutes, the negative status ailments that they get from the aura of the Primordial Beast of Sloth alone has entered the 15% range. He did not freak out though as the clergy unit used Wide Cleanse again and the entire status abnormalities have been purified again.

“I see. If the negative status abnormalities get cleansed, then it will return back to the starting stack. The problem is that doing this every ten minutes is inefficient. The Primordial Beast of Sloth would definitely notice that we become slower as the fight drags on.” Adrian muttered to himself as he suddenly felt an imposing presence just next to him.

“I also agree with that.” The voice of the Goddess of War Bellona stated as she appeared next to Adrian.

“How did you? Huh? I clearly sensed you there earlier.” Adrian stated as the Goddess of War Bellona was definitely in the frontlines and bashing her large mace onto the shell of the Primordial Beast of Sloth.

“I hitched a ride on one of the portals that your other beast created.” The Goddess of War Bellona stated as she pointed towards Kenos.

“Still, that was incredibly dangerous as Kenos was not aware that you did so as well. You might have ripped that body of your priest to shreds if something unfortune happens.” Adrian actually reprimanded the goddess, but he was only concerned for the mortal body she borrowed.

“You cannot be nitpicky in war, kid. Also, I need your help in a major way. You should not be here in the backlines and staying put when you are one of our best assets.” The Goddess of War Bellona stated.

“But… if I participate then there would be no communication between groups. The others might hit their own allies if I do not coordinate well.” Adrian reasoned.

“The Primordial Beast of Sloth is not something that we can defeat just by these paltry attacks. It has yet to show its most powerful form to us. We need to take it down before that happens which is why I need your God Destroying Flames to be on my side.” The Goddess of War Bellona.

“My Nether Energy?” Adrian questioned.

“We need to hit that thing as hard as we can with all we can with as little as time possible.” The Goddess of War Bellona stated in a serious tone.
