Nine Star Hegemon Body Arts

Chapter 6251 Surviving by a Fluke

Chapter 6251 Surviving by a Fluke

That astral spear floated over to Long Chen. When it stopped before him, its aura suddenly turned feral, and it lunged over.

A surge of killing intent made his scalp tingle. The starry spear wasn’t just energy—it had a will of its own.

BOOM!

His Astral Battle Armor flared into existence as he threw a punch, but the impact made him cough blood. His arm was reduced to mangled flesh, while the spear merely shuddered before attacking again.

Its killing power made Long Chen’s soul shudder.

Long Chen’s expression changed drastically. This thing was far beyond what he could handle. He tried to draw it back into his Dantian’s starry sea, but outside that domain, it ignored his command.

The spear split—first into two, then four, then eight—until sixty-four starry spears filled the air. They were all locking onto him.

“You’re really trying to kill me!” Long Chen shouted, turning pale.

It seemed that these things wouldn’t stop until either they were destroyed—or he was.

“Six gates open—Astral Ignition!” Long Chen roared.

Not holding back in the slightest, he pushed his astral energy to its limit and repeatedly blocked those spears with his fists. Each clash drained him, forcing him to block without pause.

He barely held them back before the sixty-four merged into thirty-two, doubling in power. The crushing pressure made his chest tighten.𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

“This couldn’t be...”

As always, Long Chen’s premonitions were never wrong. Bad things truly came in waves.

The thirty-two spears quickly became sixteen, and their astral energy doubled in an instant. Long Chen braced himself, but the impact left his arms numb, bones creaking under the strain.

“It’s over! I really invited disaster this time!” he shouted bitterly.

Moments later, sixteen spears became eight.

He fought with every ounce of strength, but blood sprayed from his mouth. His guard faltered for a split second—enough for a spear to graze past his defenses and slam into his shoulder.

His shoulder was now bloody, and some parts of the bones were showing. Gritting his teeth against the pain, Long Chen roared and swung his fists again, refusing to crumble.

Then, the spears merged once more. Now four remained, each radiating an oppressive divine might that made the air itself tremble.

“Fuck, I refuse to believe I’ll die by my own hands!”

Long Chen slammed his bloodied palms together, igniting astral light in desperation. But the spears were overwhelming. After only a few exchanges, blood burst from his lips again.

Worst of all, those spears merged again.

BOOM!

The impact shattered his arms instantly. He blocked one spear by sheer reflex, but the second drove straight into his back.

The body he had always been proud of was instantly pierced through, and the intense pain almost made him pass out.

The next moment, starlight flashed beneath his feet. He no longer dared to block these terrifying spears head-on.

Although he suspected that these astral spears were a kind of trial he had to subdue with his own power, he had no other choice but to flee at this point. If this continued, he would die.

Heavily injured, he staggered back three steps, weaving unpredictably in an attempt to dodge. But no matter how he dodged, he couldn’t throw off the two astral spears.

He managed to parry three more blows, but each one pushed his bones closer to shattering. On the fourth strike, one spear rammed into his stomach.

Long Chen’s body almost split into two, his internal organs shattering. At this moment, his vision wavered, and despair clawed his mind.

Worst of all, the two spears now merged into one. A single, starry spear now hovered in front of him.

At that moment, spacetime froze, and the laws of Heavenly Daos ceased to function. Long Chen was shocked to find that he couldn’t even move his eyelids.

The spear mercilessly pierced him. His chest tore open, the tip bursting out from his back. Then, darkness swallowed his senses, and the world vanished into eternal darkness.

Within darkness, time became meaningless. It could have been moments or eons before a single glimmer of light pierced the black.

That light multiplied, pushing the darkness away.

When Long Chen’s eyes opened again, starlight shaped itself into a colossal giant. Above its head and beneath its feet spun massive astral whirlpools.

Astral energy slowly entered that giant’s stomach, forming into a dense star cluster.

When Long Chen saw that star cluster, a sudden stab of pain bloomed in the exact same spot on Long Chen’s body. The agony wrenched him back to reality.

The vision shattered—and somehow, Long Chen was back to when the furious astral spear pressed against him with killing intent.

The spear thrummed with violet destructive force, a hunger to annihilate him to the last mote of dust.

However, the sharp tip of the spear couldn’t pierce through a piece of bone at the pit of Long Chen’s stomach.

“It’s the Supreme Bone!’ Long Chen cried out in shock.

Pain erupted from that very bone. The spear’s relentless thrust hammered against it, but the bone stood firm. Without it, he would already be gone.

The Supreme Bone held the spear at bay while his three bloodlines tried to devour its energy. But it was useless—the spear’s power could not be consumed.

The bone’s strength was reaching its limit. If it shattered, Long Chen would be reduced to dust in an instant.

All of a sudden, the vision of the giant reappeared in his mind. Gritting his teeth, Long Chen formed hand seals.

A starry sea opened above his head, and another beneath his feet.

The one above was the manifestation of the heavens, while the one below was a projection of the starry sea within his Dantian.

“Merge!” Long Chen shouted.

Slowly, the two starry seas started to swirl, one going clockwise and the other going counterclockwise.

As they spun, twin astral whirlpools formed, drawing energy into his head and feet.

The Supreme Bone flared, empowered by the twin seas. Starlight crowned it, and to Long Chen’s astonishment, the spear started to dissolve—

It slowly merged into the Supreme Bone until it transformed into a spear-shaped astral rune.

When the stars faded, Long Chen collapsed onto the ground, limbs limp, gasping like a dying dog.

“I survived... by a fluke.”
