Chapter 6130 Feeling Pain
Chapter 6130 Feeling Pain
“What?!”
The surrounding experts were dumbfounded. With his eighteen Sovereign flames and the divine energy of his ancestor, Wei Wuqing possessed the qualifications to contend against a third Heavenstage Sovereign Lord.
And yet, Long Chen could still toy with him.
When some of them saw the pair of wings on Long Chen’s back, they cried out.
“Those are Kunpeng wings!”
“Bastard! How dare you defile the bloodline of my Kunpeng race?!” someone roared in fury.
Clearly, these people had no idea that those wings once belonged to the Kunpeng patriarch himself. After being refined by Long Chen, the wings’ aura had changed. For now, no one recognized their true origin.
“You might have the strength to challenge a third Heavenstage Sovereign Lord, but you lack their spatial domain,” said Long Chen coldly, tossing Wei Wuqing’s severed arm aside. “You think you can fight one because your opponents were just allies sparring with you. If it were a true life-and-death battle against a real Sovereign Lord, you’d be slapped to death in a heartbeat.”
With a flap of his Kunpeng wings, Long Chen vanished.
Although this pair of Kunpeng wings was new, Long Chen already had experience using them. Not only was he familiar with all their divine abilities, but now, he was even faster than the original owner—especially in short-range combat. Combined with his battle instinct and movement arts, he became a phantom of death.
He could appear in front of Wei Wuqing instantly.
“Die!” Wei Wuqing roared.
His severed arm regenerated, and his zither expanded into a mountain-like form. As his manifestation stretched out a massive hand, the eighteen Sovereign flames coiled around it.
Wei Wuqing was using his ancestor’s hand to fight, lending his flames to the manifestation while he rapidly retreated. He had already realized—Long Chen was a nightmare in close combat. He needed to maintain some distance.
Seeing this, Long Chen snorted.
“One Star, Star Fall!”
A star appeared in his hand, and he slammed it into the zither.
BOOM!
The enormous zither shuddered and was blasted away, going out of control. In the next instant, Long Chen appeared directly in front of Wei Wuqing.
Wei Wuqing’s expression shifted in horror.
Controlling his divine weapon through his manifestation came with a slight delay. Although it reduced the raw power, it was still his safest option—until now.
It was useless.
Wei Wuqing roared and waved his hand. In an instant, his zither reappeared before him, its strings humming in agitation. He raised it to intercept Long Chen’s assault.
But just as he prepared for impact—
Long Chen vanished.
“What?!”
Wei Wuqing’s heart sank. It was a feint.
As he scrambled to respond, an icy voice echoed beside his ear…
“Do you have any brothers?”
Before he could react, Long Chen’s hand clamped down and ripped off his arm.
“AHH!”
“They say brothers are like your hands and feet, but that’s not always true,” Long Chen said, his voice calm. “For some people, their brothers mean more than life. Now, you’ve slaughtered theirs but never tasted their pain. If you don’t understand that pain, how can you know respect?
“You greedy beasts trample over lives like they’re weeds just to satisfy your greed. You should properly experience that pain yourself!”
With a flicker, Long Chen moved again.
Wei Wuqing’s leg was torn off.
“ARGHH!”
He screamed like a dying animal. While it wasn’t a fatal wound, the sheer agony ripped through him like wildfire. This kind of pain—he had never felt it before. Not in his pampered life. Not in all his years of arrogance.
“Feel this pain. Carve it into your memory.”
CRACK!
The other leg followed. Blood sprayed, painting the ground red.
Wei Wuqing collapsed beside his mutilated limbs. The sight was horrific, but none of the original devil race experts looked away.
They stared, their gazes flinty, unflinching.
Nothing Wei Wuqing suffered now could ever compare to what they had endured.
Every one of them had lost family—parents, siblings, children. But they hadn’t been allowed to scream. They hadn’t even been allowed to mourn.
They had only been allowed to endure.
Now, as they heard Wei Wuqing’s wails, a piece of their grief bled out.
Just as Long Chen had said—a blood debt must be paid in blood.
“What are you looking at?! Kill him! If I die, you’ll be next!” Wei Wuqing shrieked.
That snapped the others out of their stupor.
He was right.
Long Chen had made his intent clear—none of them would walk away alive.
Though torn apart, Wei Wuqing hadn’t exhausted his core energy. He could continue fighting.
The others knew it too. If Wei Wuqing died, their odds of survival would plunge.
“Attack together!” shouted someone.
Another divine sprout stepped forward—a towering giant wreathed in fifteen Sovereign flames.
Though he had fewer flames than Wei Wuqing, his aura was several times more intense. His presence alone sent tremors through the battlefield.
After all, Zither Sect disciples specialized in music and long-range arts. They were masters of rhythm, resonance, and support—not melee.
This giant, however, was a born brawler.
As he and the other commanders joined the fray, the experts of the original devil race were stunned.
All the enemy leaders were divine sprouts.
But not all were equal.
Some bore only five Sovereign flames. Others had more than nineteen. Their power levels varied, but they were all dangerous.
As they attacked in unison, divine light filled the air, and the void in front of them shattered like glass.
The giant struck first. His fist thundered toward Long Chen, and Long Chen met it head-on.
BOOM!
The giant howled as his fist shattered on impact. He staggered back, each retreating step cracking the earth beneath him.
Without delay, a spear pierced through space toward Long Chen.
Seeing this, Long Chen simply raised his hand.
CRACK!
He struck the spear’s tip, and it exploded on contact, sending the mangled shaft spinning away and blasting through several experts in its way.
“Kunpeng Blaze Heavenly Sword!”
A giant Kunpeng appeared in the air, spitting out a blood-colored sword toward Long Chen. This was a bloodline divine art condensed of this Kunpeng’s ancestral essence. Even most Sovereign weapons couldn’t withstand it.
However, Long Chen grabbed the sword by its tip. Stars ignited along his arm, and an astral light roared across his body.
With a shout, Long Chen pushed the sword back, forcefully driving it straight back into the Kunpeng’s mouth.
Then he vanished.
The Kunpeng body trembled, and light bloomed beneath its skin.
It started to inflate.
“Not good!”
Seeing this, the top experts hastily switched from offense to defense.
BOOM!
The giant Kunpeng exploded in front of everyone’s shocked gazes.
