Naruto: The Burning Spiral

Kazuki was standing face to face with the ANBU captain.

The ANBU flickered and suddenly appeared right in front of Kazuki, attacking him with his dual blades. Kazuki quickly brought up his own sword to block the hit. In the middle of the heavy contact, Kazuki applied his fire chakra flow to his blade, forcing the ANBU to back off from the intense heat.

The captain then applied lightning chakra flow to his swords and charged to attack Kazuki again. But Kazuki had already made his hand signs.

'Fire Release: Fire Fox'

Several balls of concentrated fire appeared, floating around Kazuki. As the ANBU closed the distance and swung his sword, one of the fireballs automatically flew forward and attacked him.

He cut the fireball with his sword, causing it to disperse, and immediately backed off.

The ANBU was surprised by the sudden attack. 'How? He didn't even use a hand sign to direct it towards me,' he thought.

Kazuki smirked slightly. 'It wasn't easy, and it took me a while to figure out, but I managed to connect this jutsu to my Mind's Eye of the Kagura. It has now become like Gaara's sand. The only difference is that it attacks any chakra that comes close to me, not just danger, so I can't use it in a team fight, only good for solo fights.

Kazuki then activated his Sharingan. He held his sword tightly with both hands and slashed the air, releasing fire slashes at his opponent.

The ANBU used his own chakra flow-enhanced swords to block the fire slashes without much difficulty. "Sharingan, so you're an Uchiha," he said, his eyes widening a little behind his mask.

He then rapidly wove signs and used Earth Release: Stone Bullets, launching a barrage of rocks at Kazuki. Kazuki raised his sword to block them, but his automatic fireballs reached the projectiles before him and slammed into the stone bullets, exploding on contact.

'Oh, aww,' Kazuki thought with a frown. 'Why didn't I think of this before? Anyone can just use basic projectiles to waste my jutsu.'

Taking advantage of the opening, the ANBU rushed forward with his swords, and they both started exchanging rapid, heavy blows. The ANBU captain was highly skilled and slowly began pushing Kazuki back.

'That's not good,' Kazuki thought, feeling his muscles tense. 'He's passing the lightning from his sword to me in between the blows. If this continues, then I'll probably lose.'

"Just give up, kid," the ANBU captain said coldly. "You're strong, I'll give you that, but you bit off more than you could chew."

The ANBU captain landed a heavy strike on Kazuki's sword, paralyzing Kazuki's arms a little from the electric shock, before jumping backward to create space.

He then made some rapid hand signs.

'Lightning Release: Electromagnetic Murder'

Kazuki was too late to react. He didn't have time to dodge or counter the wide area attack, so he made a single hand sign and used the only defensive jutsu he could manage.

'Earth Release: Iron Skin Jutsu'

The lightning jutsu hit Kazuki directly, violently electrocuting him.

Kazuki screamed in pain as he fell to his knees, his muscles seizing up as he dropped his sword on the stone floor.

The ANBU took advantage of the moment and quickly dashed forward to finish him off with his blades.

Just when the ANBU got close enough to strike, Kazuki suddenly smiled. He quickly formed a Rasengan in his right hand, ducked to dodge the incoming sword strike, and slammed the spinning sphere of chakra directly into the captain's chest.

The ANBU was sent flying backward, crashing hard into the ruined lab.

Kazuki stood back up, rubbing his numb arms. "Damn, that was painful, but it worked. He underestimated an Uzumaki's durability."

"Now I just have to finish them both." Kazuki made a hand sign and created a shadow clone, sending it inside the smoky lab.

The clone walked inside and looked around. Through the haze, he saw that there were several burnt bodies pinned to the walls. 'Human experiments, huh,' he muttered in disgust.

The shadow clone got close to the incapacitated ANBU captain and stabbed him directly in the heart with a kunai, ending his life. The clone then noticed that the scientist was sitting terrified in the corner of the room. The clone walked toward him, but just as he got close, a sudden explosion went off, and the shadow clone disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Outside, Kazuki received the clone's memories. He walked inside the lab himself and immediately threw a kunai straight at the scientist, killing him instantly.

"Shouldn't have given him false hope, but I guess he deserved it," Kazuki said, glancing at the burnt test subjects on the walls.

Kazuki's gaze then slowly went toward the large scroll still clutched in the dead scientist's hands.
