My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!

Chapter 936 - 939: Why Can’t You Handle My Dad Being Vegetarian?

That Titus Quinn, she definitely has to settle the score with him. How could he be so heartless and separate her from little Millie? Was she too weak usually?

Now that her memory has returned, many things have become clear. She understands why so many people want to take her down.

Ever since she entered the entertainment industry, it seems she has never had a moment’s peace. The entertainment circle is the easiest place to make enemies. Now that little Millie is still young, she wants to take care of her peacefully.

"Mommy, why are you daydreaming here? The butler has already made dinner." Timmy rubbed his eyes as he entered from the next room, clearly just waking up.

Melody Thorne’s heart moved, and she took big steps forward to hug Timmy tightly. She had been waiting for this form of address from last life to this one, waiting for a very long time.

"Wh-what’s wrong?" Timmy put down his little hands, blushing a bit from Melody’s sudden hug. "Did someone bully you? Just tell me, and I’ll go settle the score with them at once!"

"Pfft," Melody’s emotions collapsed. Anyway, she was still pretending to have lost her memory, so she couldn’t let it show too obviously.

"No, it’s just that I haven’t seen little Timmy for two days, so I wanted a proper hug," Melody said as she released him, unable to resist kissing his little face twice. "Come on, let’s go downstairs to eat."

"Okay."

Upstairs, the duo went downstairs, and the butler had prepared the meal.

"Eat more," Jared placed some vegetables on her plate.

Ever since she came back, she’s mostly been eating vegetarian.

Melody was dissatisfied, chewing her chopsticks, "Jared, what if one day I remember everything, and then decide to get back at you, making you eat vegetarian every day, living like a celibate monk?"

Jared’s eyelid twitched slightly, "There’s also a possibility that once you regain your memory, you’ll be eager for me to eat meat. Are you sure you can really stand me being vegetarian all the time?"

Something about this sounded a bit off,

"Why can’t you stand my dad eating vegetarian?" Timmy asked, puzzled.

Melody lifted her head and saw the butler, who was snickering and had quietly moved a bit further away. Only then did she realize Jared had made a raunchy joke, and he was really getting better at this.

"Jared, shut up."

"What did I say?" Jared placed another piece of vegetable on her plate, "Eat obediently, it’s good for your memory recovery."

Timmy didn’t understand what they were saying, but he knew that Melody didn’t want to eat vegetarian, just like him, who loved meat. So, he picked up his chopsticks and placed a piece of meat on Melody’s plate, "Here, if Dad doesn’t give you meat, I’ll give you."

Melody was so moved that she was reduced to tears. "Thank you, Timmy."

Jared, "..."

After dinner, Melody returned to her room and opened her computer, seeing all those insulting words on her Weibo.

When she was doing well, people praised her endlessly. When things went wrong, they just cursed relentlessly with all sorts of foul language.

Moreover, the fight incident had nothing to do with her at all. She remembers clearly and won’t do anything too hurtful.

"Nina," Melody dialed Nina King’s number.

"Hello, my little godmother, are you okay now?" Nina was still in the office working overtime.

Without Melody at the company, all the work fell on her.

"I’m fine," Melody spoke up. "However, help me arrange a press conference for tomorrow. I’ve decided to withdraw from the entertainment industry."
