My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!

"Madam, dinner is ready. Would you like to join us?" the butler spoke.

"Grandma, please join us for dinner," Timmy also said.

"Where’s Melody?" Mrs. Quinn’s expression was not good. After visiting the hospital that day, the guard called her, surprisingly it was Melody Thorne who appeared there!

Why was she there? How could it be her?

"Mrs. Quinn, after she came home today, she complained of a headache and is now asleep in her room. Jared is with her."

"Oh."

"Grandma, what’s wrong today? Are you unhappy?"

"No, nothing," Mrs. Quinn forced a smile.

"I’ll go check if Madam has woken up," the butler went upstairs to knock on the door.

"Madam."

"Madam."

"What do you want?" Melody Thorne was awakened as she hugged the pillow. Elias Hale’s hypnotism seemed really effective; she felt many things flashing in her mind, but she couldn’t grasp them. She had never experienced this before in the past few days!

"Madam, Mrs. Quinn is here, would you like to come down for dinner?"

"No," Melody replied instinctively.

"Alright."

"Wait," Melody got up from the bed. That day, Mrs. Quinn almost saw her hiding outside the hospital and uncovered those secrets.

Should she cover it up somehow?

"Prepare my meal, I’m coming down soon."

"Okay."

Melody changed her clothes and went downstairs, Mrs. Quinn and Timmy were already there.

"Mommy, you finally woke up, you slept the entire afternoon," Timmy raised his little face.

"Really?" Melody smiled and casually sat across the dinner table, "Mom, you’re here."

"Yes," Mrs. Quinn glanced at her, hiding any change in her eyes. Looking at Melody’s demeanor, was it possible she knew nothing at all?

"Come on, Timmy, eat more veggies."

"Thanks, Mommy."

"Melody, did you visit the military hospital a few days ago?" Mrs. Quinn examined Melody’s expression.

"No, why would I go there?! Melody asked back with confusion, so well-acted you couldn’t see anything.

Back in the day, she was quite an actress, she still had this much skill!

"Mom, why are you asking this?"

"No... nothing," Mrs. Quinn lowered her head to eat. Was someone trying to stir trouble between them, or had Titus Quinn bribed that guard to tell her this?

The more Mrs. Quinn thought about it, the more plausible it seemed!

"Melody, in a few days, our Quinn Family has a gathering. You’ll accompany me, as the Quinn Family gathers once a year, and everyone must attend."

Melody wanted to say no, but agreed not to arouse suspicion.

After dinner.

Melody went upstairs, feeling down, she hadn’t smiled the whole day.

"What’s the matter?" Jared Quinn pulled her over.

Melody casually came up with an excuse, "Mom asked me to attend a gathering in two days, I don’t really want to go, but it’s the Quinn Family’s event, you’ll come with me, won’t you?"

"Of course I will."

"But I’m still upset," Melody couldn’t smile, always felt something was about to happen.

And she couldn’t recall things from the past.

Especially what Mrs. Quinn did behind everyone’s back.

Melody closed her eyes, "Just kiss me, make me..."
