"Melody Thorne!" Jared Quinn’s large hand rubbed his chin as he stared at her slender legs and wild movements, issuing a warning, "Keep your legs together for me!"

"Why do you insist on learning?" Leon Rivers was puzzled.

"I want to learn, so I will. I can pay the tuition," Melody Thorne insisted.

Maybe something’s just not right with her now, but she is determined to learn!

"No way. No matter what, I’m not taking it," Leon Rivers said with a firm attitude.

Melody Thorne took a deep breath and turned around, her clear eyes filled with bright tears. Her small hand tugged on Jared Quinn’s sleeve, looking very pitiful, "He said he wouldn’t take me~."

Inside, there were many simulated human figures and body organs.

Melody Thorne curiously studied them.

Leon Rivers picked up a scalpel, lifted a white cloth, revealing a woman’s body. It wasn’t a real human; it was a highly realistic model, complete with all the necessary organs, even mimicking human bleeding!

"Sis-in-law, take a good look. Do you know what to do when someone needs surgery?"

"Cut them with a knife."

Leon Rivers "..."

He began a small simulated surgery with both hands, and Melody Thorne stood by watching, not showing the slightest fear. From time to time, she asked if the skin should be cut thinner and if cutting too thick might injure the patient’s internal organs.

No screams of fright as imagined.

Leon Rivers almost wanted to kneel before her, tossing the scalpel aside in some despondency.

"Give it some time. If you really want to learn, I’ll teach you, but I’m not in the mood right now."

"Hmm... that’s fine" she said, after all, she wasn’t in a hurry.

"Feeling better?" Jared Quinn’s large hand gently scraped her high, delicate little nose.

"So-so," Melody Thorne replied, as she went downstairs, then returned as if she remembered something, "Leon Rivers, I think it’s because Chloe Summers has stayed with you for too long, so she’s unsure if she likes you. I think you should appropriately give her a little stimulation, so she can see her heart clearly. A few days ago, I saw her and she seemed quite happy with you."

Leon Rivers scratched his head, "Is that so?"

He distinctly remembered how resolute Chloe Summers was when she left.

"Why don’t you try and find out."

"Alright, it’s late, let’s go back," Jared Quinn took hold of Melody Thorne’s arm and walked out.

The matters with his wife were truly piling up.
