My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!

Chapter 841 - 842: Let Go of Me

Melody Thorne felt he was joking, or perhaps his brain was sick—forget it, what’s there to say to a fool?

"Yeah, yeah," she nodded obediently, questioning, "What does ’male attendant’ mean?"

Caleb smoothly stroked her hair and explained, "An inner attendant is like a personal man. No matter what you need, I can only fulfill it."

"Oh, a boyfriend?" Her face slightly reddened.

Caleb’s eyes shut heavily for a moment; her shy appearance and clear gaze made him impulsively wish to hide her away!

Quinn Estate.

A small full-moon banquet, chaos outside, a tall, erect man alone in a dark room, with long stubble showing weariness. Sunshine projecting from outside etched his deep, cold face.

Desolate...

"Knock, knock," Leon Rivers knocked on the door outside, "Jared, someone wants to see you."

"Jared"

"No!"

"Jared, if you don’t see them, you’ll regret it," Leon Rivers continued knocking, "Today is Little Chiamo’s full-month banquet. You can’t shut yourself in the room forever; the old man has spoken, telling you to come out quickly."

No sound from inside, as if everything had nothing to do with him anymore!

"Jared, I just saw a stranger woman holding Little Chiamo, and Little Chiamo cried!"

"Crack," the room door opened, almost only within seconds.

Little Chiamo is the second string pulled tightly in Jared Quinn’s heart; no one can touch it!

"Jared..."

"Where?"

Leon Rivers turned around and started walking, leading him to find the woman.

In the back garden of the Quinn Estate.

Melody Thorne sat on the steps, "Weren’t you going to send me back to the Thorne Family? Why bring me here?"

"To see someone," Caleb was wise enough not to look into her eyes, to avoid being bewitched—no wonder Melody Thorne was always surrounded by admirers!

"See who?"

Hurried footsteps approached, steady and strong.

"Jared, Jared, there she is," Leon Rivers pointed over.

Upon hearing the voice, Melody Thorne lifted her head, and Jared Quinn’s gaze coincidentally met hers. Instantly, Melody Thorne’s gaze seemed to be painfully pierced by something, causing her to cry without warning.

Not knowing why she cried, just felt pain.

"Melody," Jared Quinn saw the girl sitting on the steps, spotless, and with large strides encircled her in his arms.

"Hey"

The strength made Melody Thorne unable to breathe, yet the man’s broad chest and familiar cold scent made her feel extremely secure.

But her neck couldn’t catch a breath.

"Hey," Melody Thorne punched the man’s shoulder, "Let go of me."

Jared Quinn’s power nearly infused her into his body—these days, he nearly went mad, tormented by not finding her!

He released her, facing her pair of clear eyes, devoid of any dust, within them his shadow reflected, yet very blurred.

An unease surged in Jared Quinn’s chest!

"Let go of me!" Melody Thorne retreated two steps, quickly hiding behind Caleb...

Caleb was somewhat helpless, "We parachuted down from the plane into a gale, the parachute failed, she bumped her back head. My injuries just healed, but rest assured, she’s okay now, just lost a few years of memory!"

"What does losing a few years of memory mean?" Jared Quinn’s forehead veins began to distinctively pulse, especially when confronted with Melody Thorne’s hiding gaze.
