Chapter 260: B - Disastrous cooking lesson
"Sorry to keep you waiting, big bro. Here I am in the perfect outfit for your first cooking lesson! So... worth the wait, huh?" Irina chirps.
Hakuto stares at her, his mouth hanging open.
Irina is wearing a perfectly ordinary white kitchen apron.
Which wouldn’t be strange at all... if she weren’t literally wearing nothing underneath it.
Most of her huge breasts spill out from the sides of the bib, while the bottom barely covers what it needs to.
The back is completely open.
"W-What kind of outfit is that?!"
"It’s to make sure you stay focused on the lesson and don’t get distracted!"
Stay focused? I have a feeling it’s going to have the exact opposite effect...
"Anyway! Today I’m teaching you how to make omurice with ketchup and mayo! It’s so easy even a three-year-old could make it!"
"O-Okay, let’s get started then..." Hakuto mutters, doing everything he can to keep his eyes from drifting down to her chest.
A nearly impossible task for a teenage boy with raging hormones.
The two waste no time and get straight to work.
Irina starts whipping up some homemade mayonnaise while Hakuto chops onions beside her.
He was expecting a complete disaster, but somehow things are going surprisingly well...
...at least at first.
"Come on, big bro! At this rate, we’ll be eating omurice for breakfast!"
"I-It’s not my fault...! I can’t see anything anymore!"
"Oh, come on, stop complaining! And seriously, is doing the cooking really worth crying your eyes out over? You’re losing points, big bro..."
"T-That’s not why I’m crying...!"
His eyes won’t stop watering, and they burn so badly he can’t even keep them open anymore.
He’s never cried this much in all fifteen years of his life.
Irina lets out a long, resigned sigh.
"Ugh... fine. Let me show you how to slice onions properly."
Irina steps behind him, and then...
BOING!
Hakuto feels her huge breasts press against his back.
Between the thin apron and the fact that she has nothing on underneath... Hakuto can feel everything far too clearly, even through his T-shirt. Even her hardened nipples.
Then her hand closes over his and starts guiding the knife.
"I-Irina... what the hell are you doing?!"
"I’m teaching you how to cook, aren’t I? What else would I be doing?" she mutters.
She says it so casually and innocently that Hakuto almost starts feeling guilty for getting the wrong idea.
"Big bro, you’re seriously hopeless in the kitchen... At this rate, you’ll never impress Big Sis..." Irina mutters, letting out yet another disappointed sigh.
"Change of plans," she continues. "I’ll handle the onions. You make the mayonnaise and keep an eye on the noodles, okay? Don’t overcook them! You should know I don’t like soft things in my mouth... I prefer them hard."
"Why do you have to make everything sound so suggestive even when we’re talking about cooking...?!"
"Who said I was talking about cooking?"
"Irina... stop making this even harder...!"
At that moment, Hakuto almost feels grateful for the temporary blindness caused by the onions. Just hearing her talk in such a dirty, teasing way is already getting to him. If he could also see that skimpy outfit leaving her practically half-naked... well, he doesn’t even want to think about the disastrous effect that would have on him.
Hakuto starts furiously whisking the mayonnaise in the large bowl, his eyes still burning.
A little too furiously...
D-Damn onions... I can’t see shit!
"B-Big bro... what did you do...?"
Irina’s complaint comes out soft... almost like a teasing moan.
With one particularly hard flick of the whisk, Hakuto accidentally splatters mayonnaise straight across Irina’s chest and face.
The thick white mess drips down between her breasts and disappears beneath the apron.
"S-Sorry, Irina! I didn’t mean to, I swear! Let me clean you up!"
Still half-blind, he feels around the kitchen counter until he finds a damp cloth. Then he starts frantically wiping Irina down.
"Oh, big bro... so bold. If you keep touching me like that, I might... aaah..."
"Bold? What are you—?!"
Only then does Hakuto realize he’s been rubbing her breasts like crazy.
Panicking, Hakuto stumbles toward the sink, desperate to rinse his eyes and avoid causing any more trouble. Meanwhile, Irina casually adjusts her apron and covers herself again as if nothing happened.
"It’s almost dinner time and we haven’t managed to make anything... I guess takeaway is our only option now," Irina says with a defeated sigh, while Hakuto shrinks in embarrassment under Claire’s judgmental stare.
After an hour of waiting, however, Irina is already complaining about her own idea.
"Ugh... is the delivery guy riding a turtle or something?! I’m starving! This is all Hakuto’s fault — I should’ve just made dinner myself!" she whines, flailing her arms around like she’s in some over-the-top drama.
"Give it a rest, Irina. It’s only 7:30, and the food is supposed to be here by eight. Complaining isn’t going to make it arrive any faster!" Claire shoots back, clearly annoyed.
DING DONG!
She hasn’t even finished speaking when the intercom rings.
To save delivery drivers from wasting several minutes crossing the massive garden, the villa has a second entrance that opens directly onto the street.
The intercom at the street entrance and the one at the garden gate have different chimes, so it’s easy to tell which one someone is ringing.
But that DING DONG didn’t come from the street entrance reserved for deliveries.
It came from the villa’s front door — the one you can only reach after crossing the garden.
Which means whoever rang the bell got there by climbing over the gate.
They all realize it at the same time, and the three exchange confused, worried looks.
"Who could it be this late? Maybe Mom and Shin came back early from their honeymoon because they forgot something?" Irina mutters suspiciously.
Hakuto shakes his head, visibly worried.
It’s not them. If it were, they wouldn’t need to ring the bell. They have keys. So who the fuck could it be...?
The doorbell rings again, and Hakuto motions for the girls to hide.
Then he slowly and cautiously makes his way toward the door, ready to react if necessary.
He steps closer, looks through the peephole, and...
"Itsu Chihane...?!" Hakuto blurts out, throwing the door open.
"Yo, Hakotto... Bet you weren’t expecting a surprise like this, huh?" Itsu says with a playful grin that looks completely out of place on someone who just snuck onto someone else’s property.
"I’ve told you a million times, my name is—" Hakuto cuts himself off. "Forget it. What are you doing here? And how did you get in?"
"Yeah, I’d like to know that too! You do realize this is trespassing, right?!" Claire snaps, jumping out of hiding with Irina.
"You’d better have a damn good excuse, or I’m calling the police!" Irina adds, already holding her phone.
Itsu raises both hands in surrender, putting on a disappointed look.
"Damn, I wasn’t expecting such a cold welcome. I thought we were friends..."
As he speaks, Hakuto notices something changing about him.
The hair on his arms grows thicker. His nails and teeth become longer and sharper, while his jaw starts to jut forward and stretch.
Itsu’s eyes change too.
They’re no longer brown. Now they glow with an eerie yellow light.
"Itsu, what the hell is happening to you...?!"
Hakuto takes a step back, stunned.
Claire and Irina, however, drop to their knees in terror and cling tightly to each other as Itsu completely transforms before their eyes.
His entire body is now covered in thick silver fur. He’s nearly doubled in size, and he looks exactly like an anthropomorphic wolf standing on two legs.
Thick strands of saliva drip from his jaws, lined with long, razor-sharp teeth.
"I’m here for the Kurotsuki sisters. Be a good boy and I’ll let you live," Itsu says in a low, deep growl.
Despite his beastly appearance, he can still speak perfectly clearly.
"You know, Hakotto, I liked you from the start. So step aside if you don’t want to get killed. I promise I won’t hurt you once I’ve taken the two half-demons behind you."
Hakuto’s eyes widen in disbelief.
He said the two half-demons behind me. So... Irina and Claire are demons?!
"Come on, they’re the daughters of one of the richest and most powerful women in Japan. It wouldn’t be that strange if they got kidnapped — stuff like that happens all the time. You and your father would inherit the Kurotsuki fortune. Sounds tempting, doesn’t it?"
"Hakuto, run! That thing... it’s a lycan!" Claire cries out, her voice trembling.
Hakuto stares straight into Itsu’s glowing eyes, his gaze firm and unwavering.
"I don’t care if they’re demons! Claire and Irina are my sisters, and that’s all that matters. I won’t let you touch them!"
"H-Hakuto, you really are an idiot...!" Claire sobs, her heart starting to pound not just from fear, but from his words.
Itsu raises one massive paw, ready to bring it crashing down on Hakuto.
"I see... then you’ve chosen death."
