My Horny Stepmom Turns Me into Her Vampire Slave

Chapter 176: The strongest vampire in the multiverse

Chapter 176: The strongest vampire in the multiverse

Zayn and Isabelle explode toward each other at supersonic speed, shattering the ground beneath their feet the instant they launch forward.

They’re so fast that Chris, Mia, and Lyon don’t even see them move.

One moment they’re standing face-to-face.

The next, their blood-forged weapons collide with such overwhelming force that the shockwave levels everything within dozens of meters.

Even the three vampires watching the fight are blown backward.

That first clash is followed by dozens more in the span of just a few seconds.

"You weren’t lying when you said you’d gotten a lot stronger since the last time we sparred. I’m impressed, Zayn," Isabelle says with a calm smile as they continue trading blows.

"You haven’t seen anything yet, Platinum Death! This is nothing compared to my true power!"

"I certainly hope so... otherwise, I’d be very disappointed."

At that moment, Isabelle knocks Zayn off balance with a quick kick to his ankle.

He only loses his footing for a split second, but that’s all she needs to create an opening.

She unleashes a lightning-fast slash aimed straight at his neck.

Zayn barely manages to avoid a fatal hit, escaping with nothing more than a deep gash across his chest that heals in the blink of an eye.

But Isabelle’s assault is far from over.

The searing pain from that slash stuns Zayn for just a moment, and she doesn’t let the opportunity slip away.

A devastating elbow slams into his face, followed by a brutal kick to the stomach that sends him flying.

Zayn crashes through dozens of tree trunks before finally managing to stop himself and regain his balance.

But the instant he looks up, Isabelle is already right on top of him.

She swings again, but this time Zayn catches the slash with his blood saber.

The collision unleashes another devastating shockwave, flattening yet another section of the surrounding forest.

Lyon watches in stunned disbelief.

Until now, he’d never had the chance to see Isabelle fight in a real battle.

"I-Isabelle... she’s insanely strong..." Lyon murmurs under his breath.

"Yeah... but your brother’s no joke either," Chris says. "I hate to admit it, but if Isabelle weren’t here, I seriously doubt the three of us would’ve stood a chance against Zayn. Even if we’d fought him three against one..."

"You really think so?" Lyon asks, puzzled.

"Don’t let the fact that Isabelle has the upper hand fool you. You don’t need to be an expert to see he’s on a completely different level than us. It’s just that, unfortunately for him, Isabelle is simply stronger than anyone else. I know your goal was to avenge your parents with your own hands, but I guess you’ll have to settle for watching Isabelle do it instead."

"I guess you’re right..." Lyon says quietly. "If he managed to push Isabelle into getting serious... then I don’t think I could’ve ever reached my brother’s level, even if I’d trained for a thousand years..."

"Getting serious? Don’t be ridiculous," Mia cuts in. "Isabelle isn’t even close to fighting seriously."

Not only Lyon, but Chris too is stunned by those words.

"You’ve never seen Isabelle fight at full strength. She wasn’t even giving it everything she had during her fight with Levreeshka in New York," Mia continues, her eyes never leaving the battle unfolding before them.

"But you have...?" Chris asks. "You’ve seen her fight seriously?"

Mia nods.

"The night of the Dulcar coup. It took two generals of the Scarlet Army and the commander of the Crimson Requiem just to hold her back. Even then, the only reason she left the fight was to get me to safety, not because she was losing. She’s probably just buying time to figure out why Zayn Thzraneel is here."

"Yeah... now that you mention it, it is weird..." Chris murmurs thoughtfully. "What the hell is your brother doing here, Lyon? And more importantly, why was he with Raelor?"

"I don’t have the slightest idea..."

CLANG!

A deafening metallic screech erupts as Isabelle’s and Zayn’s weapons collide once again.

Zayn tries to block her slash with his blood saber one more time, but this time it isn’t enough.

Her blade tears straight through his guard, ripping open the shoulder he uses to wield his weapon.

Despite the pain, Zayn manages to keep hold of his saber.

But he has no way to stop the uppercut that crashes into his chin and sends him soaring into the air.

Isabelle launches herself after him.

The battle erupts high above the ground.

"I don’t believe you came all this way just to fight me. Come on, tell me. What do I owe the honor of this unexpected visit?"

"You’re wrong. Killing the woman known as the strongest vampire alive is exactly why I’m here. Sure, once you’re dead, I’ll take my time recovering the divine artifact too. But that can wait. First things first."

"I see... Marcus Dulcar lifted the bounty on your head in exchange for your cooperation. Am I right?"

"Wrong again, Platinum Death. Looks like you’re stronger than you are perceptive."

After another violent clash, they both crash back to the ground, landing on their feet a short distance apart.

Isabelle stares at him, a puzzled look crossing her face.

If he’s not working for Marcus Dulcar... then why is he after the Tear of Azkarith too?

...Of course.

In that instant, Isabelle remembers what Shin Seiko, director of HESPARC Japan, told her the night he came over for dinner.

About Nyratalir and the cult searching for the divine artifacts and the hybrid’s blood to free the deity imprisoned in another dimension.

"You’re a member of the Cult of the Primordial Shadow, aren’t you?"

"I’m surprised you’ve even heard of us. Not that it makes any difference. That little smile on your face says you’re not worried about me at all. That’s a serious mistake. We’ve only been playing around so far... but now I’m getting serious. I’ll show you something you’ve never seen before, Platinum Death!"

For just a split second, Isabelle could swear the crimson aura surrounding Zayn darkens into black.

At that very moment, they both raise their weapons at the same time, blocking a blood spear and a blood dagger hurled at them from afar.

Zayn and Isabelle immediately turn toward the source of the attacks.

Standing atop the highest branches of one of the surrounding trees are Lazarus and Evelyne Vesper, Blake Dulcar, and Dorian Mordane.

At the foot of that very tree stands Constantine Serev.

The entire Crimson Requiem.
