That was until the day the Demon Clan dropped into this world and came into contact with Richard…Ultimately, this team was eliminated by Richard, who acted as an NPC.

Through his dissection, research, and consumption of the clan’s brains, he truly acquired [Void Theology].

In the original world – “Void Otherworld” –

Dean Richard completed the growth of a national-level church then, with the power of faith, he formally stepped through the Void Gate, exceeding the limits of the world level after his first contact with god.

Dean Richard can apply a Void Mark to any form of object within a ten-meter radius, a mark that cannot be resisted, avoided, or removed.

Different objects will generate different effects when marked:

Inorganic matter:

1. Doors, walls, etc. (solid objects with a minimum side length greater than 50cm), will metamorphose into a “Void Gate,” leading to the Void Otherworld where living beings can’t survive (exit available).

2. Metals will metamorphose into “Void Radiation Material,” periodically emitting Void ions outwards (within a three-meter range). If an organism marked by the Void gets radiated, its physical corruption will accelerate.

3. Non-metal objects will be immediately obliterated once marked.

Organic matter:

1. Humans, or animals with no less than 90% similarity to human structures (including the brain).

Once they have been marked by the “Void Mark”, they will undergo three stages of transformation over a certain period of time:

‘Ether’ → ‘Starlight’ → ‘Causality’.

(Upon reaching the ‘Starlight’ stage, individuals are considered dead; upon reaching the ‘Causality’ stage, the nature of life itself will transform)

90% of them can only experience the ‘ether’ level transformation, losing their human form and turning into grotesque creatures made of piled-up flesh.

9% can reach the ‘Starlight’ stage of transformation, losing their human form, reconstructing their consciousness, and transforming into intelligent lifeforms superior to humans that are capable of using a little bit of void magic.

Less than 1% of individuals can undergo the final ‘Causality’ transformation, ultimately shaking off the confines of carbon-based life and turning into Void creatures, targeted by Dean Richard as valued elite subordinates.

Note: The time of transformation is influenced by the individual’s attributes. Those with high “Determination” and “Body” values can extend the time of transformation.

2. Non-human, low-level animals.

They immediately undergo ether transformation (only the first stage), and turn into corrupted pets for Dean Richard to command, usually used for patrol and reconnaissance.

3. Plants are able to absorb Void Energy through the mark, quickly grow into multi-shape Void vegetation (some develop simple self-awareness by constructing an intercellular neural system), often used for building defenses, stabilizing Void Gates, and external skeletal devices.

4. Life forms other than the above three cannot bear the mark, hence they can’t be marked.

Dean Richard has completely transcended the restrictions of the ethereal body. He can draw on the Void to alter his body form, greatly enhancing “Strength” and “Agility”.

He can also channel the Void energy outside his body to form an outer shell, greatly increasing “Attack Coverage Range”.

Destroying any of the statues will somewhat weaken Dean Richard’s abilities. After all nine statues are completely destroyed, Dean Richard will no longer be protected by god. As a result, he will fall into a weakened state and can be killed.

A dagger created by Dean Richard by harnessing the power of the Void. It’s necessary for sacrificing objects, causing the cut object to establish a connection with the Void immediately.

A human body with a “Void Mark” will accelerate the transformation process when hit by the dagger.

Also, the sacrificial dagger can be stabbed into the body of any Void minion, providing full activation and enhancement (lasts 10 minutes). After the effect ends, the minion will be sacrificed.

“Void Sphere”

Polished from a perfect spherical crystal in the Void Otherworld. When used, it consumes all the Void Energy stored in the sphere, ignoring the scene and terrain; it forcefully transports all matters within a 100-meter radius into the Void Otherworld.

After each use, the sphere must recharge to full capacity before it can be used again.
