Chapter 410: Entering the Dragon world

Ten days later.

Ethan appeared at the outer periphery of the Origin World.

The moment his consciousness brushed against its boundary, a strange realization dawned on him. Each Origin World possessed a clear beginning, yet no discernible end.

They were not infinite in the absolute sense, but their expansion followed no visible conclusion. The farther one went, the more the world unfolded, as if distance itself was an illusion designed to humble even Eternal Sovereigns.

It was vast enough to make time feel insignificant.

Ethan glanced down at the small furry creature perched on his shoulder, its round body trembling slightly as it clutched his collar with tiny paws.

“Hey, Puffin,” Ethan asked casually, his tone light. “Have you ever been here before?”

The little furball shook its head. Its soft, shimmering fur rippled faintly as it spoke in a childish, almost timid voice.

“I did not. I am afraid of trouble. I always stayed inside my territory and scared others away so they would not bother me.”

Ethan chuckled softly.

“So that is how it was.” He reached up and gently patted Puffin’s head. “Then you do not need to be afraid anymore. We will travel through every Origin World together and witness their grandeur. Your mistress will be with us as well.”

Puffin’s eyes lit up instantly, glowing like tiny stars.

“Okay, Master. Thank you for being so good to me,” it replied, its voice filled with unrestrained happiness.

Over the past ten days, Ethan had come to understand one undeniable truth.

This so called Source Authority level terror, a being capable of making entire regions tremble in fear, was nothing more than a child. Not just mentally, but fundamentally. Its consciousness was young, untainted, and curious.

More importantly, it belonged to an unknown species and Ethan was damn sure that a child of an origin race never born at the Source Authority realm. Their ancestors were in that realm.

Which meant only one thing.

This creature did not originate from any original race.

Then where did it come from?

Ethan’s gaze sharpened slightly as he looked ahead.

“Let us enter.”

Just as he stepped forward toward the world’s boundary, space rippled violently in front of him.

A portal formed infront of him.

Ethan halted instantly.

He did not move, nor did he release additional aura. His instincts, sharpened beyond causality, told him that something was emerging from it.

Moments passed.

Then, a massive head pushed through the portal.

It was a dragon’s head.

Then another.

And another.

Soon, five colossal dragon heads emerged, each one bearing different elemental markings. One burned with crimson flames, another shimmered with azure frost, the third crackled with lightning, the fourth exuded poisonous miasma, and the fifth was shrouded in pure darkness.

Finally, the enormous body followed.

It was a gigantic five headed dragon, its form resembling a chimera of ancient dragon bloodlines. Scales like forged divine metal covered its body, and its eyes carried the weight of countless eras.

The aura it released surged outward like a tidal wave.

Eternal Sovereign.

And not an ordinary one.

Ethan calmly adjusted his own aura, suppressing it deliberately to the Axiom Dominion realm. Puffin, too restrained his aura to the genesis realm.

The five headed dragon lowered its massive necks, all eyes focusing on Ethan.

“Traveler,” it spoke, its deep and masculine voice resonating through space itself. “Welcome to the Dragon World. I am Sheron, Guardian of the Gate. Do you wish to enter?”

Ethan raised an eyebrow internally.

“Oh? A guardian exists here? Not bad.”

Outwardly, he maintained a polite expression.

“Yes, sir. We wish to enter.”

Sheron studied Ethan carefully, its gazes overlapping and analyzing him from multiple perspectives.

“For an Axiom Dominion to enter, the toll is five thousand Origin Coins,” Sheron stated calmly. “For that pet of yours, two thousand Origin Coins.”

Ethan blinked.

“Origin Coins?” he asked, genuinely confused. “What are those?”

The last time Ethan had used something as primitive as currency, he could not even remember the time. Concepts like wealth had long since lost meaning to him.

Sheron stared at Ethan as if he were looking at a rare specimen.

“Do not tell me,” the dragon said slowly, surprise evident in its voice, “that this is your first time entering an Origin World.”

“That is correct,” Ethan replied honestly. “Could you explain what they are? And if possible, tell me whether treasures can be exchanged instead.”

Sheron’s lips curved upward into what could only be described as a grin.

“One Chaos Grade artifact is worth ten thousand Origin Coins,” it said.

Ethan nodded.

“I understand.”

His true power was at the Source Authority realm. A Chaos Grade artifact was beneath him.

Which meant he could create one at will.

He reached into his space ring.

In reality, he created the item directly through his Authority of creation.

When his hand emerged, he was holding a golden brick.

Yes.

A brick.

Perfectly rectangular, glowing faintly with the unmistakable aura of a Chaos Grade artifact.

Ethan had no desire to waste time designing something exquisite.

He handed it forward.

“I do not possess Origin Coins. Will this suffice?”

The moment the brick appeared, a terrifying Chaos Grade aura erupted outward.

Sheron’s eyes lit up instantly.

Then, as the dragon properly observed the artifact, all five heads froze.

A second later, every single one of them began twitching in unison.

“Which bastard created such nonsense and dared to elevate it to Chaos Grade?” Sheron roared, cursing furiously.

Ethan nearly snorted.

But facts were facts.

It was indeed a Chaos Grade artifact.

“Very well,” Sheron said after a moment, its voice filled with irritation. “You may enter. Do not expect any change. This thing is not worth ten thousand Origin Coins.”

“Thank you,” Ethan replied sincerely.

He stepped forward, crossing the boundary and officially entering the Dragon World.

The moment he did, countless dragon auras flickered across the horizon.

His destination lay far away.

The Ice Dragon Domain.

Rose was there.

Ethan accelerated, flying at the speed of light.

Even so, calculations instantly formed in his mind.

At this speed, it would take nearly five billion years to reach the Ice Dragon Domain.

He could travel faster. Much faster.

But doing so would require crossing multiple sovereign territories, and his absolute speed would inevitably draw attention.

Attention he did not want.

His main body was already the most wanted existence across multiple layers of reality. If even a clone attracted the notice of One Above All, there was a risk he might trace something he was not ready to reveal.

So he restrained himself.

Instead, his gaze shifted toward a nearby region.

Flame City.

There, he could acquire Origin Coins legally.

Teleportation services would solve the distance problem.

Ethan wanted to have ten billion Origin Coins.

Casually, he created one million Chaos Grade artifacts. This time, they were properly designed and refined, each one carrying practical value.

He entered Flame City and walked into an auction house.

“I have one million Chaos Grade artifacts,” Ethan said calmly. “Would you like to buy them?”

The appraiser, a Fire Dragon in humanoid form at the Genesis Realm, froze.

“What did you say?” it whispered, swallowing hard. “Did you discover the treasury of an Eternal Sovereign?”

“That is none of your concern,” Ethan replied coldly. “Do you want them or not?”

“Of course, sir,” the dragon said hurriedly. “But we do not possess that much liquid currency at the moment. There is an auction tonight. Would you be willing to wait until it concludes?”

Ethan nodded.

“I can wait.”

As he stood within the auction house, Ethan observed his surroundings.

Dragons filled the city.

Yet every single one of them was in humanoid form.

This was no coincidence.

The humanoid form was the most efficient and adaptable shape in existence. After the creation of the human race, all species gradually learned and adopted it.

Efficiency always prevailed.

And he was going to make the very human race as an original race.
