Chapter 6079, The Mysterious Boy?Man?

Once the class ended, the students dispersed. Since they were all cultivators, after their daily lesson, it would be free time for them. They could look for Secret Techniques in the Heaven Records Pavilion, go to the Battle Arena if their fist itched, or go to the Heaven Exchange Hall to shop. Naturally, this was also the best time for students to get to know one another.

However, two students remained in class, with two teachers overseeing them at this moment. They were not being punished, but from the expressions of the two teachers, one would be uncertain about it.

The class isolated as well, preventing any sound from leaking, as though no one wanted any secrets to leak out.

Li Wu Yi sighed and said, “I know that class is boring for you two, and realistically, it would be hard for the other children to keep up with you two. So, in the future, if you have such questions, it is best for you to speak to me through your Divine Sense. I don’t wish for the others to get confused by your questions.”

“But, on the topic of controlling Space without the Void, I do not think that is possible. All things exist in the Void, but that is not the case for Space. The Void is everywhere, and contains everything.” Li Wu Yi said his own theory of Space and its Principles. Naturally, even Xu Yi was interested in this topic, despite his focus being in the Dao of Time.

Yang Ji gave a nod, it was unclear if that was in regards to the former statement or the latter statement. Still, Yang Ji just said his own thoughts, “If the Void contains everything, then how do we go to the world behind the Profound Source Gate through it?”

At this question, Li Wu Yi and Xu Yi had their eyes widened and their ears perked. After all, how did this young boy know about the Profound Source Gate and the world behind it? That was a secret that was kept, which few knew about.

Of course these two would be surprised, as what happened to Yang Ji and Yang Xu a few months prior had not been spread, and few knew about it. Nevertheless, Li Wu Yi could now only thank his own insightfulness in isolating the classroom before they had begun talking. He initially only did it to prevent students from overhearing and leading to confusion in their Dao, but this was something even more vital to keep secret.

“How did you…” Still Li Wu Yi could feel a headache coming as he continued, “Never mind. Since you are already aware of that world, then I will frankly say that I do not know. All I know is that it is a different world, unlike ours. It might exist in the Void, and that we merely have not uncovered another route to get to it.”

After all, no one could claim that they fully explored and understood the Void. Thus, it stands to reason that they might really be able to transverse through the Void to get there.

However, as though overhearing the conversation, despite the barrier isolating the room, the Heavenly Demon Queen’s voice broke through into the minds of the Twins, “Do not deceive yourselves. That place exists beyond the Void itself.”

The Twins did not understand how she was able to hear their conversation, but it also did not seem too odd for them. So, rather than badger about it, they focus on the meaning behind those words instead.

However, before they could ask Li Wu Yi another question, the voice came out again.

“Your teacher has nothing more to offer you–no insights, no revelations. The path forward belongs to you two alone to forge. Enough deliberation. Come to me at once. I require your strength.” The Heavenly Demon Queen urged, and the Twins immediately felt something was off. After all, this was the haughty Heavenly Demon Queen speaking. When had she ever asked for help?

“What’s wrong?” Seeing the Twins had their expressions so drastically change from that of deep thought to confusion in one and worry in another, Xu Yi could not help but ask. 

“Uncle Li Wu Yi, I think that’s all the questions that we have for today.” Yang Ji quickly said.

Li Wu Yi just gave a nod, “Alright, it is your first day anyway. Best if you can get more time to mingle with your classmates.”

With a snap of his finger, the barrier was removed and the Twins were free to leave.

Yang Ji and Yang Xu immediately nodded at each other and quickly disappeared from sight, leaving the classroom with only two adults.

“Aren’t you going to go after them? It is clear that they are up to something.” Xu Yi asked as he used his Divine Sense to perceive where those two might have gone.

“We are not their baby sitters. Besides, where else can they go? This whole space is created and sealed by their Father. It’s safe here. If you want, you can go after them, but I believe you will be found out soon enough.” Li Wu Yi said, knowing full well the capabilities of these two children. After all, even Yang Kai had to keep a distance when trailing them.

Xu Yi shrugged. He believes that since his Master was here, nothing could go wrong.

The Twins need not ask for the Heavenly Demon Queen’s location and just knew of it. In just a blink of an eye, they had already appeared close to her.

They could have immediately arrived before her, but Yang Xu was cautious and opted to appear a distance away.

However, the sight before them was… baffling. After all, The Heavenly Demon Queen was in any danger.

In a small alleyway within the school, where there was a clear lack of people, the Heavenly Demon Queen was hovering in the air. In front of her was a child, not too much different in age from them. This child was kneeling with his head on the floor, arms out as if in complete submission.

Though they could not see the child’s face, from his hair alone, he obviously did not bother to groom himself. Still, at least he did not appear like a beggar, though that might be because of the new attire he had received. 

“Hey, what the heck are you doing bullying someone?” Yang Xu naturally berated her the first instant she saw this scene through their Divine Sense.

“Bully?! Preposterous! I raised not a finger, spoke not a threat! The moment this man perceived my presence, he threw himself to the ground in terror! Is it my fault then?” The Heavenly Demon Queen’s eyes narrowed as she replied. Naturally, this conversation was not heard by the boy grovelling. So, she ordered, “Stand up at once. A mighty being grovelling, do you have no shame?”

The boy immediately stood up and wore a sneaky pleasing grin. If one were to describe such a face, the word ‘puchable’ would come to mind. However, he tried his best to appease the being in front of him, as though she were his only pillar in the world, “Beautiful Sister, why has someone so mighty and beautiful come to see an insignificant ant like me? I dare not take on the grace you have given me…”

Even with his fist cupped, and head down, he could still sneak in a few glances, as though gauging the Heavenly Demon Queen’s reaction.

Seeing how she was unmoved by his words, he continued, “May I ask what a great figure like you might want from a humble being like me?”

Ignoring him completely, the Heavenly Demon Queen stood silent. However, in fact, she was asking for Yang Ji and Yang Xu to help isolate this Space.

Unfortunately, it seemed like this boy was able to sense that a huge cage was being formed. So, he let go of all pretenses and smirked, directly challenging, “Think you can trap me?”

Before the Space could be isolated, he turned illusionary. His figure became fleeting, as though made of mist, with light being able to easily pass through. Soon, he completely disappeared, and was no longer in sight.

Even when Yang Ji and Yang Xu used their Divine Sense to scan the area, they found nothing. It was as if his very existence was erased. They were about to ask the Heavenly Demon Queen, when she just declared, “Wait.”

It was a tone that allowed no disobedience. However, how could such a tone possibly stop the Twins?

“Since you are not moving, I guess he is still here?” Yang Xu concluded, and then turned to her Brother.

Yang Ji gave a nod and the two of them started to clench their fist. As they did so, Space Principles moved and the ‘cage’ began to shrink.

Space cracked and tore, with the Void inching ever closer, tearing apart everything within. Only three figures were spared in the onslaught, and these three were looking around to spot any oddities.

“Do you intend to persist in concealing yourself? We shall render this entire Space into the Void if necessary.” The Heavenly Demon Queen stood still as she declared with eyes narrowed.

From what she knew, if this man truly wished to escape, it would be hard for them to stop him. However, such actions would also bring great risks to him.

However, even with that last warning, nothing appeared.

“Maybe he is not here?” Yang Xu asked, but Yang Ji corrected, “Maybe, but we already destroyed so much of the area here. Might as well go all the way.”

Yang Ji slammed his fist down and the whole Space tore, with everything sent into the Void.

In the next instant, all three figures were in the Void, which was filled with broken pieces of debris. However, at this point, seeing that the person was truly gone, Yang Ji held no interest in remaining and had just sent everyone back out.

Once he was out, the scene before him reminded him of the scoldings he was going to get.

The walls and floors were torn with gnashes, as if a Monster Beast had just clawed through everything. The plants around were also not spared, as every bit missing had been sent to the Void.

“Haa… looks like we are going to get scolded again.” Yang Xu commented, but the Heavenly Demon Queen added, “That conclusion does not necessarily hold merit. This Space is interwoven with a multitude of Arrays, one of which is designed to mend the destroyed. Moreover, the verdant growth shall inevitably return, nourished by the inexhaustible vitality radiating from that World Tree.”

“What we need to concern ourselves with is that man. One must marvel that he maintains his concealment even in the wake of such devastation…” The Heavenly Demon Queen said as she sighed.
