Chapter 1798 - 1331: Learning from Freyja

Kingdom of Blood Moon, Kaimon City.

"The ’Pure-blood Nobles’ path centers on bloodline, blood traces, and blood as core Technique Spirits, requires a Legendary Blood Magic realm, with the goal of summoning a pure-blood Divine Being (recommended level ☆, Extreme Master of Blood Moon likely already has a pure-blood Divine Being);

The ’Hybrid Demon’ path centers on blood drinking, blood bathing, and hot blood as core Technique Spirits, requires a Legendary Blood Magic realm and Gold Necromancy realm, with the goal of summoning a Blood Demon Divine Being (recommended level ☆☆, Extreme Master of Blood Moon might already have a Blood Demon Divine Being);

The ’Dead Blood Fate’ path centers on blood source, death curse, and life infusion as core Technique Spirits, requires a Legendary Blood Magic realm and Legendary Necromancy realm, with the goal of summoning a Fate Divine Being (recommended level ☆☆☆, currently no Fate Divine Being has been born);

Below are the specific research paths for each Technique Spirit..."

Siflin looked at the letter in her hand, feeling quite complex emotions.

Tonight, she just finished a surgery and was about to find Meiwa after work when she noticed a commotion outside the hospital. Stepping out, she saw an armed Black Crow facing off against the hospital guard mage. She was still wondering why anti-social elements would attack a hospital, thinking perhaps they hadn’t checked the mayor’s itinerary online. She initially had no intention of getting involved, as it was none of her business, but then she saw the clinic’s pet Meiwa Missy bouncing over and hugging the Black Crow. She uncovered the crow’s mask, revealing a pretty sister with a look of helplessness, and then the onlookers dispersed. Hours later, everyone in the hospital was discussing how Meiwa had gained another addition to her harem.

Originally, Freyja was already happy when she saw Tamasi, but when Tamasi took out the letter Ash had given them, Meiwa’s inner joy reached a reality-distorting level. Flowers appeared out of thin air as a filter, and every mortal within a hundred-meter radius was forcibly put in a good mood, even the fresh corpses in the basement morgue showed sweet smiles.

Siflin quickly took them to the hotel, however, Dedarose and Felix were still out cultivating and hadn’t returned, so they started reading their own letters first. Siflin initially thought it was a thank-you letter, but was surprised to find it was an entire set of magic path strategies, including multiple routes for them to choose, even teaching her how to bypass the Blood Moon Extreme Master’s monopoly on Divine Beings... It was hard to describe Siflin’s feelings, like a science major senior pointing out her scoring deductions and improvement directions while she was preparing for an art exam... there was a subtle sense of discord.

But Siflin didn’t doubt Ash’s guidance abilities at all. She knew that if he spoke, he was certainly confident. The most important phase for a mage ascending to demigodhood is summoning the Divine Being. Now with this tailor-made strategy, as long as they prepare the Technique Spirits step by step, they have a high probability of summoning their target Divine Being. Compared to other Legendary Mages, their treatment seemed as if Ash was personally feeding them.

Although what’s fed to them is not exactly food...

Perhaps due to haste, Ash wrote very little about himself, merely explaining that he couldn’t return to earth for the time being. Once he settled in the Seven Heavens, he would help them ascend to demigodhood. He hoped they would train well during this period and finally look forward to reuniting with them, his tone straightforward and devoid of emotion.

This was very much in line with Siflin’s stereotype of Ash. Compared to sweet words, Ash preferred to repay them in practical ways, such as organizing the magic paths they needed. Siflin herself was very satisfied, but she felt that Meiwa would probably rather see Ash write a few love lines instead of the detailed magic information.

However, when Siflin looked up, she saw Meiwa excitedly bouncing on the bed, the customized hotel bed creaking and groaning—though it wasn’t Meiwa’s fault; this room was Ash’s, and the bed had been broken since the Bride night.

"What did Ash write that made you so happy?"

"He tailored a magic path for me!" Freyja clutched the letter tightly, her big eyes sparkling, her voice melodious like a song: "He’s also looking forward to me reuniting with him in Heaven!"

Siflin blinked, "Is that enough to make you so happy?"

"Isn’t it enough?" Freyja used the letter to cover her face, but the joy in her eyes couldn’t be hidden: "It’s the first time he wants me by his side! He wants to see me! He wants to be with me! Ah, ah, ah, I also want to see him—"

Watching Meiwa roll around on the bed like a caterpillar, Siflin suddenly felt a bit embarrassed, holding her forehead, letting out a sigh: "Do I really have to team up with her to vie for affection..."

"Isn’t that nice?" Tamasi chuckled softly: "Freyja is the cutest."

"Ah!"

Freyja’s sudden scream startled the two, thinking something happened, but then they saw Freyja come over and grab their hands, speaking seriously: "Let’s train well, and when the time comes, let’s ascend to demigodhood together, okay? I really want to see Ash, but I don’t want to be separated from you two either. We should always be together."

Siflin and Tamasi exchanged a look and helplessly sighed. Suddenly, they extended their hands to grab Meiwa’s cheeks, kneading them continuously: "With love brains like yours, it feels like nothing in this world can make you unhappy, right? No matter what Ash says, it makes you happy?"

"Eh hehe~ not that powerful~"

"That wasn’t a compliment!"

After some playful teasing, Freyja lay back on the bed and closely reviewed the letter, trying to find hints of Ash’s affection for her in the punctuation marks. Siflin put the letter back in the envelope and whispered into Tamasi’s ear, "Doesn’t Ash let you stay?"

"It’s me who doesn’t want to stay," Tamasi replied in a low voice, "My path is not in Heaven, but on earth."

"Then when we ascend to demigodhood, will you be with us?"

"Of course."

"I mean, will you be on our side?" Siflin asked, looking at her, "Advancing and retreating together with Freyja."

"I don’t quite understand what you mean." Tamasi was somewhat confused, "We’re all companions of Ash, aren’t we in the same camp?"

"Didn’t your old sect divide into several factions?" Siflin looked at Meiwa, who was swinging her legs and said calmly, "Freyja has this submissive personality. If we didn’t take care of her, she’d probably get bullied to death... She doesn’t really mind though, as long as there’s someone she likes, she’ll be happy no matter what. Sometimes I envy her, after all, as long as she likes the right person, she’s the happiest Meiwa in the world."

"Unfortunately, she likes..."

"Freyja."

A familiar greeting suddenly echoed in the room, both Siflin and Tamasi were taken aback as they watched the words on Freyja’s letter detach from the paper, transforming into a humanoid light figure that gently embraced the stunned Meiwa.

"Sorry, I can’t return to earth for now. I can only leave this light message at most. I’ll build a communication channel between Heaven and earth as soon as possible, at least to stay in touch with you all."

"Forgive me for leaving without saying goodbye back then. I didn’t have much confidence in returning alive. I didn’t want to see the Sword Maiden and others worry about me, and I especially didn’t want to see you, Freyja, heartbroken for me. It feels strange saying stuff like this myself, as if I’m extraordinarily charming..."

"Don’t push yourself too hard in cultivation. Even if you can’t ascend, I’ll still bring you into the Divine Domain. I used to not dare respond to you, because if possible, I didn’t want anyone to follow me in wandering. But now, I seem to have the ability to settle. So, if you still wish to be with me, you only need to take one step, and I’ll help you with the remaining ninety-nine steps... Well then, I look forward to our next meeting, goodnight."

The light shadows quietly dissipated, leaving only Freyja and the blank paper in her hand. Siflin thought for a moment and understood how this miracle was triggered—probably Freyja memorized the contents completely, and once the letter was no longer needed, it activated this light message, which only appeared after reading it seven or eight times.

Unexpectedly, Freyja didn’t jump around or scream in bed, but quietly sat on the bed without any reaction. Both Siflin and Tamasi felt worried, thinking that she might have been so excited her mind stopped working, cautiously asking, "Freyja...?"

Freyja slowly turned her head towards them, her eyes dreamy, face flushed, breathing shallow and rapid, and her pupils had transformed into heart shapes.

"I’m wet."

Meiwa’s voice was filled with allure, causing both the bats and the Black Crow to stir in excitement.

"This girl truly is..." Siflin’s lips twitched, "Feels like even if I don’t want to vie for favor, I’ll be dragged into this vortex of rivalry..."

"You were talking about vying for favor just now," Tamasi suddenly asked, "What does it mean?"

"It means competing for Ash’s... attention." Siflin’s face turned slightly red, unable to say ’affection,’ she retorted, "Don’t you want him to focus more on you?"

"Probably think about it, but even if he doesn’t focus on me, I wouldn’t mind much," Tamasi said, "Everyone’s so busy, why care about Ash’s attention?"

"Because it won’t always be this busy, especially now that he can settle down. It’s not that we want to vie for favor, but once someone in his team wants to compete for attention, it’ll drag everyone in." Siflin sighed lightly, "Previously, Ash was constantly wandering in danger, having to prioritize survival over everything. So everyone was willing to compromise. But now they rule the Heavenly Kingdom, with eternal life and no worries, naturally seeking higher spiritual needs, such as love."

"Danger compresses internal conflicts, while harmony causes hidden currents to emerge. Any organization is like this; once it catches its breath from external threats, it must face internal challenges. Everyone has their own needs; as long as there’s a need, disputes will arise."

"If it wasn’t for me also having to join in, I’d actually enjoy watching Ash reap what he sows." Siflin sighed, "Feels like by the time we reach Heaven, the harem intrigues will have peaked."

"Why?"

"Because there are two key figures in harem warfare—one is Ash, and the other is Ash’s favorite, the Sword Maiden. Ash is simply the spoils of harem competition, expecting him to control it is less likely than hoping Freyja stops being a love-struck fool. And Ash’s favorite, the Sword Maiden, happens to be the Source of Chaos causing the rivalry, and no one can suppress her."

As she kept talking, Siflin felt a bit annoyed, "It’s all Ash’s fault for choosing the highest difficulty. Generally speaking, if you want a harmonious harem, the ’Queen’ should preferably not be jealous, able to make everyone like her, and truly considerate towards him, like..."

"Like Freyja?" Tamasi pointed at the still-dazed Meiwa.

"Exactly, like Meiwa." Siflin spread out her hands, "Yet the Sword Maiden and Meiwa are precisely the opposite types... and they both have love-struck brains."

"Not to mention Weiser and Vishi, those two monsters wearing human skin, only Lissdia is somewhat kind... wait, Ash’s taste in women, what’s up with that..."

While Siflin muttered complaints about her colorful future, Tamasi thoughtfully recalled and said, "Actually, I was going to say earlier, the Sword Maiden I know seems different from how you normally describe her."

"Different how?"

"If you really want me to say..."

Tamasi tilted her head and said, "I feel like she’s trying to learn from Freyja."
