Chapter 1711 - 1264: Gerard and Selena

"Looking down on us so much?"

The witch hugged his arm and said fiercely, "You’ll see tonight!"

Weiser: "Just a reminder, witch, you lost today’s bet, so..."

"I never said I’d bet! I’m not acknowledging it!"

The witch took out two gaming consoles from under the table, handed one to Ash and said, "Let’s play a fighting game, though it’s a bit cramped here... this will do."

She sat on Ash’s lap, her dress squeezed tight by her raised hips, and Ash gripped the console, twitching at the corner of his mouth, "So despicable, you’re using external factors to hinder my gaming skills!"

"As if you’d win if you played seriously." The witch giggled, "I just felt it was too cramped here, so decided to sit like this, but..."

She turned to press against Ash’s chest, gently biting her lip, and said softly, "Liss played too much today and went to bed early..."

Sonia flicked the witch’s forehead, both annoyed and amused, "Can’t wait, can you?"

"Don’t you think this cramped space is perfect for romance? It’s good to change the scene once in a while!" Diya said boldly, "And Ash is dressed so uniquely today, isn’t it charming?"

"If you think I look good, you only need to say so!"

Suddenly, Dedarose, who had been silent, raised her hand, "Felix and I can fly independently to the wedding venue."

"Ah!?" Felix looked reluctant, wanting to watch the whole event closely.

"Don’t cause trouble." Ash ruffled Diya’s hair. "After so much effort to dress up, let me look good for the night."

"Sigh..."

"But on the way back, we won’t need to worry about appearances." Ash held Diya in his arms, turned his head to Sonia, and winked, "How about spending some more time in the night sky of Kaimon City and enjoying Blood Moon City’s night view?"

Sonia glanced at him, her cheeks blushing softly, "Why are you looking at me?"

"I’m asking for your opinion."

"So, you care about my opinion?"

"Of course!"

"Then can you explain why Freyja has been so gentle and quiet today?" Sonia pointed at the Meiwa opposite, "Since this morning, she’s been in this state, her eyes turned into hearts, happily immersed in memories. What happened?"

After a full three seconds, Freyja suddenly woke up, held her face with both hands, smiled at Ash, and shook her head, "Nothing happened."

Even Siflin couldn’t hold back, covering her face and lowering her head to reflect. Oh dear, everyone knows there’s one more culprit; since Freyja is immersed in self-forgetfulness, everyone turned to Siflin. The gaze of the four demigods pressured the little bat into a shivering state.

Ash spoke honestly, "Last night—"

"Let me tell it!" Siflin gathered the courage to say, "Last night, Freyja came with a cat to find Ash, and I was watching to prevent... prevent anything from happening. When we prepared to leave, Ash said it was time to shower, then... then..."

Freyja couldn’t hold back anymore, jumped up excitedly, raised her hands high, and announced loudly, "We took a shower together!"

"But nothing happened! It was just a shower!" Siflin quickly added. Though it was mutual shower gel application, she thought.

The witch was stunned, then pressed the console button angrily, "I haven’t unlocked the shower scene yet!"

Weiser looked at the time, "So it persisted for 16 days, not bad."

Vishi nodded in agreement, "Couldn’t believe it stayed this long, completely breaking my stereotypes."

"Sit down, Freyja." Sonia sighed, "You’ve worked hard."

Ash couldn’t hold back, "Turns out your comments weren’t about me!"

"Since the first day arriving at Blood Moon, we knew your limit is tied only to Freyja’s willpower." Sonia rolled her eyes at him, "For anyone else, we wouldn’t let them near you, but Freyja..."

She paused then said softly, "One day, it’ll cost you dearly."

Ash blinked; his tense heart began to relax, and he laughed quite freely:

"Yes, one day it’ll cost me dearly."

Sonia felt moved inside, turning to look at Ash, but at that moment the floating car began to descend, and Ash hurried out of the cramped floating car, belatedly asking, "Speaking of which, why are we attending someone else’s wedding?"

"Because it’s the first wedding of Blood Moon, and the couple getting married are acquaintances of me and Freyja, we had to come, and the Sword Maiden is also very interested..." Siflin shrugged, "By the way, Freyja and I helped plan this wedding, and Freyja even introduced the marriage system, so it can be considered a historic moment for Blood Moon."

Ash then remembered, before Blood Moon, not to mention marriage systems, even secular marriage didn’t exist, "Mage Percent" only included relationship stories and never mentioned beyond them, as if a couple’s limit was simply romance, never progressing further.

With the merging of five countries, laws like the "Blood Relationship Prohibition Act," which conflict with Dazzling Star’s noble system, would naturally be abolished, and marriage and family concepts would reintegrate into Blood Moon. Considering this, the wedding truly marks a cultural turning point for the Kingdom of Blood Moon.

"Actually, one of the couple getting married you know, Ash." Siflin suddenly said.

"Huh?" Ash laughed, "Everyone I know in Blood Moon is a fellow inmate; surviving Blood Moon Judgement is luck itself, getting out to marry?"

"You knew him before going to prison."

Ash froze, "You mean...?"

"Gerard Westminster." Siflin said, "The Blood Frenzy Hunter from Crime Hunting Hall who captured you into Shattered Lake Prison... Oh, now that I mention, do you bear any grudge against him?"

Sonia and the others looked at Ash, even Vishi seemed eager to move, as if ready to turn the wedding venue into a bloody mess if Ash gave the word.

Ash shrugged, shaking his head with a smile, "No, why would I hate him? But someone like him found a marriage partner? Must be a picked-up girlfriend!"

Although once opposed, Ash held no ill feelings towards Gerard. He actually quite admired such a dedicated defender of the law. "The Gods of Four Pillars Sect Leader Heath" deserved arrest; when reviewing his criminal record, Ash himself wanted to shoot himself. Gerard’s arrest had nothing wrong. If blame were deserved, it should be for the mess left by Heath, not Gerard.

Siflin wasn’t surprised; she found from Ash’s diary copies that he admired Gerard, "As for the other party, though she seems young, she is actually an adult, so don’t be too surprised."

Ash chuckled, "Couldn’t believe Gerard... tsk, tsk, tsk."

"Then I’ll go check how Selena is preparing." Freyja bowed, "Sif, you stay here and greet Ash and the others—"

"Wait."

Old memories suddenly stirred in Ash, uncertainly asking, "You just said... Selena?"

"Yes, Selena." Siflin stated, "Actually, Ash, you guessed right, Selena really was picked up by Gerard."

"The Selena you mentioned, does she have... deficiencies?"

Siflin and Freyja exchanged glances, then nodded, somewhat curious, "She used to, but lately found a workaround... Ash, you know Selena?"

"Not just me," Ash turned to look at Dedarose behind him, smiled bitterly, "You should know her too?"

The doll loli Selena!

With the Crime Hunting Hall Hunter Gerard who holds an irreconcilable hatred with the Four Pillars God Sect, his newlywed wife is the Kingdom of Gospel’s Four Pillars God of Touch - Eternal Damnation Selena!
