Chapter 1365: Are You Bullying the Seys Family Because You Think There’s No One Left?
Old Master Seys, Dominic Seys, came downstairs leaning on his cane with Nicole supporting him, and sat down on the sofa.
"Commander."
Olivia Summer knew Dominic’s reputation. The moment she saw him come over, she immediately stood up to greet him respectfully. Her words and actions were especially restrained, not daring to be presumptuous anymore.
Andrea Greenwood, although unwilling, didn’t dare offend the famous old master of the Seys Family. She reluctantly greeted, "Commander Seys."
Nicole signaled Aunt Forest to serve Grandpa a cup of tea, then handed the tea to the furious Dominic. "Grandpa, I’ll handle this myself. Don’t get angry, have some tea."
"Handle it? With your so‑called handling, they’ve already come bullying us right at the Seys Family’s door!" Dominic slammed the cup heavily onto the coffee table, the impact making the tea in the cups in front spill over. His rage was obvious.
Nicole was so scared she didn’t dare speak, eyes lowered as she stood by Dominic’s side.
This was the first time she’d ever seen Grandpa lose his temper. That overwhelming aura and anger made her afraid.
Hearing Dominic’s scolding, Olivia immediately lowered her voice and replied, "Commander, you’re taking it too seriously. We just came to talk to Nicole a bit."
"My hearing’s just fine! I heard every word you said loud and clear! What, has the Seys Family fallen so low that you look down on us now?" Dominic swept his gaze over Olivia, his expression stern and simmering with uncontrollable fury.
"No! No! Commander, you’ve really misunderstood. We absolutely didn’t mean to look down on the Seys Family. The Seys are a famed political dynasty. We came to visit Miss Seys; we had no intention of being disrespectful!" Olivia hurriedly explained.
Facing Dominic’s sharp, authoritative gaze, Olivia felt the weight of that powerful presence, forced a smile, and didn’t dare show the slightest disrespect.
"The Seys Family’s little princess has turned into the woman you lot say is throwing herself at your man for a sleepover. You really have some nerve! You really think there’s no one left in the Seys Family, don’t you? How dare you come to the Seys’ house to provoke us!!"
"No, no, Commander..." Cold sweat had already broken out on Olivia’s forehead. Dominic’s serious intent to settle accounts with them scared her so much she didn’t know how to respond.
Dominic’s gaze swept to Andrea. "You little girl, such a vicious tongue, and the way you talk is even more aggressive—one look and I can tell you’re trouble. You say our Nicole from the Seys Family is playing the home‑wrecker, clinging to your man and refusing to let go?" Dominic let out a cold laugh, his darkened face downright terrifying. "The girls of our Seys Family—never mind their background—just standing there, they’re a hundred times better than you! Even if you ignore her family status, if my Nicole, with an ordinary background, chose someone to marry, she’d still get herself a good husband. Let alone with her family standing behind her—if she took a liking to someone, not a single person would dare say a girl from the Seys Family is reaching above her station!"
Andrea’s face went deathly pale under Dominic’s merciless words. She was just about to lash back when Olivia grabbed her wrist and shot her a warning look.
Andrea forced herself to hold back, her expression extremely ugly. Olivia glanced at Andrea and sighed inwardly.
Andrea was still too young—she’d almost mouthed off right to the Seys Family’s old master, without thinking about the consequences at all. If she really enraged Old Master Seys, and then Evan Seys and Enzo Seys, plus the Crown Prince Arlo Seys, all stepped in against the Seal Family and the Greenwood Family, then it would all be over.
Evan Seys’s wife’s maiden family, the Quinn Family, was also one of the wealthiest families in City C, and even Enzo Seys’s wife’s maiden family was a well‑known name in politics.
If the Seys Family moved together, the Seal Family would be done for.
"If you hadn’t come provoking us today, I really wouldn’t have known that our Seys Family’s little princess was being bullied like this! The Nicole girl we hold in the palm of our hand is being pointed at and mocked right to her face by the likes of you!"
Dominic picked up his cane and swept the teacup in front of him to the floor, his face full of rage and looking very unwell.
