Chapter 533 - 532: Looking for Louis Young
Chapter 533: Chapter 532: Looking for Louis Young
He waited for quite a while; in fact, there wasn’t any café on the way.
He was just using it as an excuse to send South Grant away.
South Grant waited for about twenty minutes before she saw South Grant walk in from outside.
She was holding coffee in her hand, and when she saw Chester sitting downstairs, she walked over.
"I’m back late. I searched everywhere nearby but couldn’t find the café you mentioned. I went to another street to buy these. I got three flavors; see which one you like?"
South Grant said, handing the coffee to Chester Lynch.
Chester Lynch looked at the coffee in South Grant’s hand and smiled, the smile spreading across his eyes, as though reaching his heart.
"I like them all, South. Thank you."
South Grant scratched her head and then said:
"I should be the one thanking you, for taking up your time and making you owe someone a favor."
Then South Grant glanced towards the elevator and asked, "Why are you sitting here? Did he refuse and kick you out?"
Chester Lynch heard this and laughed, reaching out to ruffle South Grant’s hair.
"No, President Warren is very understanding. He knows you’ve been troubled by Grant Group, so he decided to lend you a hand."
South Grant also knew it wasn’t that easy. No one would leave money on the table to bail him out.
"Even if it’s to help me, it’s because of you. I’m afraid you’ll have to pay him more profits in the future, right?"
Chester Lynch shook his head, saying: "No, President Warren sees your potential for development. He also said the young are formidable, and there might be times when he needs your help in the future."
South Grant was skeptical, "Really?"
"Really, I’m not lying to you. If you don’t believe me, don’t you believe in yourself?"
South Grant chuckled and handed Chester Lynch a cup of coffee.
Chester Lynch took a cup, and the rest was for South Grant.
The two of them left Radiance’s company, and on the way, South Grant complained while drinking coffee:
"Actually, I don’t really like coffee. I always feel life is already bitter enough. Whether it’s food or drink, I always like sweet things, as if that could make up for the bitterness."
Chester Lynch smiled and said, "I don’t think so. I find this taste enjoyable; if you savor it slowly, you’ll find the sweetness, just like life always has its ups after downs."
South Grant looked at Chester Lynch, thinking, it’s not easy. He’s just over a year older than himself, yet so mature.
His insights came from being reborn, but Chester Lynch’s maturity was genuine.
Instead of returning to school, Chester Lynch took South Grant to other cinemas.
That afternoon, Chester Lynch visited several places. His eloquence was impressive, and with some personal connections, more than half of the people agreed to re-screen "Us."
Finally, Chester Lynch took South Grant to Young Cinemas.
When Chester Lynch arrived, he waited downstairs for their current manager, Louis Young, who came out after half an hour when his meeting ended.
When the secretary invited them up, Louis Young was processing documents at his desk. Seeing them come in, he looked up, then said somewhat politely:
"Please sit. Ning, get two cups of coffee."
"President Young, no need for the trouble. We came today to discuss something with you," Chester Lynch went straight to the point.
Louis Young paused with the pen in his hand, then smiled, put away the documents, stood up, and came to the front of the sofa, smiling warmly at the two of them.
