Chapter 526: Chapter 525: Nathan Foster Is Joining Too

Jackson already knows that Nathan is South’s uncle, but he doesn’t know the relationship between South and Nathan.

The only one who knows is Caleb.

When Caleb hears Jackson mention Nathan, he lowers his head, pondering something at the moment.

Rosalind agrees, and says to South:

"Right, invite your uncle over, after all, the military equipment used for this filming was provided by him. We should thank him from both obligations and courtesy."

South is still debating whether to invite him when Nathan’s call comes in.

"Who is it?" Jackson asks.

"My uncle."

"Pick up, and ask Commander Foster directly," Jackson says.

South answers the call, and Nathan’s voice comes through the phone.

"Hey, is everything done?"

"Yes, it’s done." South hesitates for a moment before saying: "Tomorrow I’m hosting a dinner for everyone as a celebration. Uncle, they say to invite you over, are you free tomorrow?"

"Oh? Celebration dinner? Is everyone going?" Nathan asks.

"Yes, everyone’s going, everyone from our film crew," South replies.

"I have time tomorrow," Nathan agrees.

"Then I’ll tell them," South says.

"Go ahead," Nathan says indifferently.

After hanging up, South tells them, "My uncle says he’s free tomorrow."

Jackson says at this point: "South, Commander Foster really dotes on you, agreeing to all the things you say despite being busy."

South listens to Jackson say "dotes on you," chuckles twice dryly, then glances at Caleb.

Caleb lowers his head without speaking at this moment, feeling not so great about someone knowing the secret.

After returning to the military headquarters, Nathan is still handling work.

South doesn’t disturb him; after freshening up, she starts flipping through a book.

In the past life, she suffered from not having an education, so she is determined to study diligently this time.

When Nathan comes over, he sees South focused on her book.

Watching the time, he walks over to her and reminds her:

"It’s getting late, sleep early."

South nods and puts the book aside, rubbing her eyes.

"Is the venue set for tomorrow?" Nathan asks South.

"Rosalind says she’s setting the venue for tomorrow," South replies.

Nathan nods, then goes to bed.

Originally, he had other arrangements for tomorrow, but hearing South say everyone from the film crew is going means Caleb will be there too.

Hence, Nathan agreed.

When Nathan lifts the quilt, he sees the exquisite figure under South’s pajamas.

In the past six months, South has grown quickly and well.

When she wasn’t an adult before, Nathan felt somewhat better.

Especially after her birthday, every time lying together, Nathan’s mind is restless.

This feeling is both uncomfortable and unsettling.

Nathan thinks, the respect and love he gives her should be given after marriage, letting her experience a wonderful first time, rather than now.

However, continuing like this, he fears he won’t be able to hold on until then.

Facing South, Nathan retreats for the first time.

Nathan lowers the quilt, then says:

"I remembered, there are still some official duties unresolved, you sleep first."

South doesn’t suspect anything, and then watches Nathan go to the study.
