Limited Time Marriage: Nice to Meet You Mr. Foster

Chapter 471 - 470: Hypnosis

Chapter 471: Chapter 470: Hypnosis

Nathan Foster remained silent after hearing Vincent’s words, thinking that as long as South Grant wasn’t provoked by mentioning anything about children, that personality wouldn’t surface again.

But clearly, he was mistaken.

The absence of that personality was solely because she didn’t want to appear.

Once she wants to take control of the body, no one can stop her.

"Tell me specifically when and under what circumstances she’s appeared these few times, because I’m going to perform a psychological intervention on her later. We have to figure out where her hostility towards you comes from, otherwise, this danger lurking around you could escalate. This time, it was two broken ribs. Next time, if you’re asleep, she might take your life."

Nathan Foster knew that South Grant’s situation was serious, so he didn’t withhold anything from Vincent and told him everything he knew.

Vincent listened and frowned, pondering for quite a while.

"Are you saying this personality is resisting your contact with the other personality, saying not to harm her?"

"That’s what she said at the time." Nathan Foster nodded.

Vincent stroked his chin, thinking for some time. Then he looked up and shared his analysis:

"Although I don’t know what exactly happened between you two, you say you didn’t know her before and had no interactions. I believe you. Judging from everything so far, although these two personalities don’t interact, this personality doesn’t seem to be hostile towards the other. She told you not to harm her, meaning she’s protecting the other personality, perhaps fearing that you’d harm her again. Something must have happened before that made the other personality suffer. Think carefully—are you sure there’s no connection at all between you two?"

Nathan Foster was certain there was no harm or connection between him and South Grant.

Seeing his denial, Vincent nodded, then pointed to an old clock in the room, and said to Nathan Foster:

"I’m going to put her into deep hypnosis. I will probe into her privacy and delve into her memories. If I can’t come out within an hour, use the clock’s chime to wake me up."

Nathan Foster frowned at Vincent’s words.

"What if you wake up and she’s still there?"

"She’ll be fine. I’ll find a way to stabilize the other personality."

Hearing this, Nathan Foster felt relieved.

Then Vincent had his assistant prepare everything and found a quiet environment to be with South Grant.

He whispered softly into South Grant’s ear, as if telling a story or simply having a chat.

He was incredibly patient, showing no irritation despite the person being deeply asleep.

Nathan Foster watched from outside; about ten minutes later, South Grant slowly opened her eyes.

Yet her eyes were vacant, pupils dilated, the whole person resembling a soulless, walking corpse.

Her arms and legs had been untied beforehand. She mechanically sat up from the bed and moved to sit quietly on a chair in the middle of the room.

Vincent carefully sat opposite her, meeting her gaze, his words still as soft and tender as before, like a friend, whispering as if in conversation.

It was Nathan Foster’s first time witnessing such a scene. Despite his surprise, he followed the previous instructions and made no sound.

"Relax... let go... look at me, answer my question, what’s your name?"
