Limited Time Marriage: Nice to Meet You Mr. Foster

Chapter 463 - 462: Caleb Holt

Chapter 463: Chapter 462: Caleb Holt

South Grant looked at Caleb Holt, getting up from the bedside. Caleb looked at the script South had just put down and said:

"South, going over the script?"

"Yeah, tomorrow’s scene is quite important, need to get it done in one take if possible."

"I believe in you," Caleb said.

South Grant smiled when he heard Caleb say he believed in him.

"There are too many uncertainties in filming; I don’t even believe in myself."

"But I believe in you," Caleb insisted.

South Grant smiled, then turned around, walked over to the desk, and poured two glasses of water from the thermos, handing one to Caleb.

"Are you ready for tomorrow’s shoot? Once this scene is done, we’ll be heading back."

This was the first film South invested in and directed since his rebirth; though it was coming to an end, he felt a bit reluctant to let it go.

"Ready, yeah, it’s ending so fast. Wish this filming journey could slow down a bit."

South Grant chuckled, realizing he wasn’t the only one feeling this way.

"No worries, there will be opportunities in the future. We can collaborate again then."

Caleb Holt, at this point, looked at South Grant and couldn’t help but recall the scene he saw that morning.

Caleb wanted to ask but seeing South pretending nothing happened, he couldn’t voice it out.

"South, how about I do that scene tomorrow?" Caleb suggested.

South Grant raised an eyebrow, unsure of Caleb’s meaning.

"I know our crew doesn’t allow stunt doubles, and currently, we don’t have any stunt actors, but tomorrow’s scene is very dangerous. I’ve noticed you seem off lately, what if something happens? I’ll do the scene for you, and they can fix it with CGI later."

Caleb thought about how South had been zoning out recently, so he suggested this to film in her place.

South Grant was stunned for a bit after hearing Caleb’s suggestion.

Then he laughed heartily, "No need. If it’s dangerous for me, isn’t it dangerous for you too?"

Caleb hurriedly replied, "I’m fine, I’ve trained for a month in the military. Whether it’s agility or movements, I’m faster than most people."

South Grant waved his hand and remembered that at the bar, her other self’s combat skills were off the charts. South mentioned it then:

"You forget that my skills are no worse than yours. Don’t worry, I don’t need a stunt double."

Caleb had indeed forgotten about that.

Seeing that he couldn’t convince South, Caleb’s face showed some concern.

"Caleb, is there something on your mind?" South asked him.

Caleb hesitated for a moment before speaking:

"I heard that for our filming, all military equipment was provided by Commander Foster."

South Grant’s face, which had been smiling just now, froze for a moment at this mention of Nathan Foster, then returned to normal.

"Yes."

Caleb noticed the slight change in South’s expression, as he was well-aware of South Grant’s situation.

The Grant Family couldn’t accommodate South, who faced all kinds of sabotage there, and now temporarily lived with the Foster Family.

Caleb suddenly said:

"South, I recently took an advertisement deal, and Alden negotiated a great rate for me. I earned a substantial sum, and combined with what the filming crew gave me, I saved up enough to buy an apartment at The Chancellor Residences, very close to Ardenne University. I remember you’re about to attend Ardenne University, right? Once you return, you can temporarily stay there."
