Let's Play A Dirty Ass Game, Mr. CEO

Chapter 73: TALL DARK HANDSOME

Chapter 73: TALL DARK HANDSOME

LAURA

’Kiss him. What’s the worst that could happen if you allowed yourself just one night of pleasure?’

There was a little voice in my head edging me on, whispering dirty, naughty things up there, lowering my inhibitions and making me weak as fuck and helpless against the intensity of Tristan’s hot gaze.

I really wanted to give into that voice. Very badly. I wanted to snatch Tristan’s face close and kiss him until we were both breathless. He wanted the same thing, seeing the way he looked at me now.

But...I had to be careful.

We had to be careful...if we were ever going to cross the line.

This was not back when I was a simple employee at his company.

Now...I had my own stuff going and I couldn’t do anything to ruin the success I’d attained so far.

Tristan wiggled his brows at me as he waited for the gift I’d promised. "So?"

He looked so dashing and endearing in the cool dusk light filtering into through the floor-to-ceiling window. His lips puckered in my face, and a silly, naughty idea crossed my mind.

Something to do to get it over with quickly.

I chugged the rest of the alcohol down and set the glass down. "Fuck it."

I reached for Tristan and he came to me like a starving man. We both knew what we wanted, and we went for it. The kiss we’d been starving for. It was hot and messy and devastating.

My intention had been a peck to get him off my back and get as far away from here as possible—before we did something I would definitely regret. But how could I stop at a peck when his lips tasted just as good as I remembered? Soft, warm, addicting.

His tongue collided against mine and electricity sparked through my body. I lost my senses somewhere along the line, and wrapped my hands around his neck, pressing my needy body desperately against his.

His erection leapt against my lower abdomen and my legs turned to jelly. My brain turned to mush. Heat and juices of my arousal leaked out of my pussy, leaving me breathless, light-headed and confused.

A moan ripped from my gut and he swallowed it with his tongue, his hand roughly dragging up my body and cupping my left breast. My nipples were on fire, pebbling hard against my inner shirt, sending delicious tingles down my spine each time they scraped against the fabric.

Suddenly, Tristan tore his lips away, breathing hard, eyes dark as they ravaged my face. "Fucking hell. Why, Laura?" he muttered, splaying his fingers across my spine and caressing upwards, sliding into my hair and pulling hard. "Why do you do this to me?

Panting just as hard, I observed his beautiful profile with confusion. What did he mean?

Before I could ask, he wrapped his fingers around my throat and crashed his lips down on mine again.

This time, Tristan kissed me like he wanted to punish me. He kissed me like I was the only thing he lived for. He kissed me like his life depended on it.

And I kissed him with the same fierce hunger.

Until he hitched my skirt up and his thumb roughly brushed my clit through my panties. And my senses were forced right back in.

I tore my lips away and shoved his face. "Stop!"

Agitation crossed his features as I jumped back, and he watched me like I’d just shattered his heart.

He really wanted to fuck me in his office, where anyone could just walk in.

I mean...I wanted that too. But I had to get home to my son.

"I need to leave." I stumbled around, tucking the escaped strands of my hair back as I tried to gather my stuff.

"This is what I’m talking about." Tristan sounded so pissed it actually hurt. I guess he just wanted to fuck me and get it over with. One more time inside my pants. One more time fooling me.

I straightened and looked him right in his dazzling blue eyes. "I didn’t promise I was going to let you fuck me," I snapped, unsure why I even said that, because I was losing my mind from how much I wanted him.

His jaw ticked hard, and he turned away from me and headed back towards the desk. "It doesn’t change the fact that you want to fuck me. But it’s cool." He grabbed his jacket and the half empty glass of alcohol sitting on the desk. Then he chugged it down all at once. "Come on. I’ll take you home."

I scoffed, slinging my purse over my shoulder, bristling with anger for some reason. "Funny how you think I’d let a drunk man drive me home."

His eyes blazed hot as they lingered on my lips. "And you think it’s safe to drive yourself back?"

"Just let me be, Tristan," I said, running a hand over my face. "I need space. Away from you." Then I turned around and started towards the door.

"You’ll have to make up your mind about what you want sooner or later," Tristan called after me, "cause I won’t let you use me whenever you wish."

Asshole. Did he not seem very eager to be used?

I turned and stared long and hard at the tall, dark handsome man that stood across the room from me, wearing his agony and hunger on his face like a coat of many colors. Fuck, what have I gotten myself into with him?

It was obvious there was no peace for any of us until we fucked each other. But not today. If we were going to get into each other’s pants again, I should have a plan for when things crashed.

Because with Tristan, I could not hope for forever.

"It’s only a matter of time, Laura!"

I walked out and slammed the door on his words, seething deep in my chest.

I was not sober enough to drive at all, but I got in my car anyway and zoomed off, far away from danger.

It was a miracle that I did not get into an accident on my way, becayse my hands shook against the wheel, all the way.

When I got home, Ivy and Eli were in the living room, perched on the island, each to his own business.

"Welcome back, Ms. Hayes," Ivy said as I came into view, and Eli’s head shot up speedily. "Mommy!" he shrieked and bolted towards me with a crayon on his hand.

I caught him in my arms and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek. "Hey, little man."

"Mommy, you’re late. Ivy has been staring at her wristwatch."

"Ohhh, has she?"

Ivy tossed me an apologetic glance as she packed up her books. "I’m sorry, Ms. Hayes. Eli is such a snitch."

I laughed. "I’m sorry about running late, Ivy. I had...work."

Well, that was a smooth lie, and it sent heat down my spine because despite how wrong it was...it might just be the best feeling in the world.

Lying about my business with the very man I should stay away from.
