Chapter 751 - When Wrath Collides
“Oh, I know you’ve all been eagerly waiting for this moment—the Eternal Challenge!”
Brando, sitting comfortably on his signature talk show sofa, leaned forward with a grin that radiated excitement.
“And with me today,” he continued, “is someone who’s become a legend in the Kesseon Kingdom—Constantine!”
To his right sat a striking man with shoulder-length blond hair, his presence calm yet commanding.
“Thanks for having me, Brando,” Constantine said smoothly. “It’s a pleasure to be here.”
Brando’s smile widened, his energy electric. “Constantine, you’ve made quite a name for yourself in Kesseon Kingdom—not just as a key figure in the region, but as one of the revered Wrath Champions. But wait, there’s more…” He paused dramatically, shifting his hand to point at his left. “Joining us is another Wrath Champion… Booba!”
The man on the other side had dark hair and unmistakable Asian features. He leaned back with an easy grin before flashing a peace sign to the camera.
“Hi, everyone! I’m Booba, the strongest Wrath Champion! Haha!”
“You’re definitely brimming with confidence,” Brando quipped, shaking his head with a chuckle. “But I can’t wait to dive into what we’re here for—the Eternal Challenge!”
The studio dimmed slightly as a massive screen behind them lit up, playing the much-anticipated trailer for Immortal Legacy’s first grand event.
The screen came to life with the logo of Golden Age Company, followed by the iconic Immortal Legacy emblem. An epic orchestral score began to build as the trailer kicked off with an introduction to the game—its vast landscapes, intricate lore, and the intensity of its battles.
Clips of past moments flashed by: the Deadbay City War, a chaotic clash that left ruins in its wake, followed by the devastating sight of Broken unleashing an earth-shattering arrow from a height, the impact tearing through enemies in the land.
The trailer shifted seamlessly into showcasing highlights from the upcoming Eternal Challenge, teasing the events that would grip the gaming world. The audience was treated to snippets of team battles, solo duels, beast hunts, and even a glimpse of the crafting contest, where players would compete not with weapons, but with skill and ingenuity.
As the trailer reached its climax, the screen faded to black before the date of the event appeared in bold letters. The excitement in the room rose palpably as it became clear—the Eternal Challenge was only days away!
“That’s absolutely… spectacular. The anticipation is off the charts,” Brando said, turning to face the camera with an electrified smile.
“The excitement, the tension, the rivalries—players from all over the world are already on their way to the competition venue. Tickets have been sold globally, and I know so many fans are eager to finally see their in-game idols in person. The same heroes they’ve only ever watched on their screens will now be competing live, right in front of a crowd!”
His enthusiasm was infectious, his words carrying the weight of the event’s grandeur. “It’s going to be an unforgettable moment, and I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds!”
Brando smiled, clearly pleased with the energy in the room, before turning to Constantine. “So, what do you think will be the most exciting contest in this competition?”
“Duel of Champions!” Constantine answered without hesitation.
The Duel of Champions was the name given to the solo battle tournament, where the best of the best would face off in an elimination bracket until a single champion emerged victorious in the grand final.
“I knew it!” Brando said, nodding. “Everyone’s looking forward to that. What about you, Booba?” He turned to the other Wrath Champion.
“Hah! Of course, the Duel of Champions will be the highlight,” Booba replied with a wide grin. “I’ll be competing, obviously. But let’s be real—my Guild Leader is going to dominate the tournament and take the win. Still, at least I’ll make it to the finals to face him.”
Brando clapped his hands, clearly entertained. “I love the confidence radiating from both of our Wrath Champions tonight. What about you, Constantine? Any thoughts?”
Constantine leaned forward slightly, a sharp gleam in his eyes. “You know as well as I do, Booba, that a one-on-one battle like this isn’t just about brute strength. It’s also about strategy—knowing your opponent’s weaknesses and how to exploit them. And frankly, your confidence might be misplaced because I know exactly how your blessing works. You’d struggle even going up against me.”
Booba let out a loud laugh, his grin never wavering. “Oh? Is that so? Well then, let me make this more interesting. How about I take you out in the first round, Constantine? That way, I’ll clear the path early. What do you think of that?”
Constantine smirked. “Bring it on.”
Brando couldn’t hide his delight, clapping his hands again. “Now that’s the kind of rivalry I like to see! The Duel of Champions is going to be explosive!”
**
The selection process for the competitors had already been conducted online, with players from around the world competing for their spots. Each team and individual was restricted to participating in no more than two contests, despite the numerous events offered in this grand competition.
The selection process was rigorous, based on in-game tests, overall scores, and the participants’ stats and potential. As a result, the competitors arriving now weren’t just anyone—they were the best of the best, handpicked for this monumental event.
Several hotels had been carefully selected to accommodate the contestants, each one primed to host the elite participants of the upcoming Eternal Challenge.

A sleek black luxury car pulled up in front of one of the hotels, its polished surface gleaming under the sunlight. Behind the designated line, fans and spectators stood eagerly, their eyes fixed on the scene as they waited for the arrivals.
The car door opened, and a man in his fifties stepped out, his presence immediately drawing gasps from the crowd.
“Goldrich! That’s Goldrich!” someone shouted.
“Oh my god, he’s so handsome!” another voice gushed.
“Look at him! So rich, so powerful… he’s just exuding charisma!”
As Goldrich adjusted his coat and stood with calm authority, another car pulled up behind him. The door opened, and out stepped two figures—a stunning young woman and a sharp-eyed man.
The crowd erupted again.
“Damn, that’s Elincia!”
“Yes, it’s Euna—and her brother, Booyoung! He’s a Wrath Champion!”
London turned to greet them, waiting patiently as Euna and Booyoung approached. Their entrance added even more weight to the already star-studded arrivals.
“Mr. London, Euna, and Booyoung,” one of the spectators whispered excitedly, “I can’t wait to see who else from the Vensalor Guild will show up today.”
“Wait, isn’t Broken supposed to live nearby?” another chimed in.
“Yes, but… I haven’t seen him arrive yet,” someone replied, scanning the scene with anticipation.
From the hotel entrance, a woman with chestnut brown hair emerged, walking gracefully toward the trio to greet them. It was Freya.
“Hi, welcome to all three of you,” she said warmly. “Heejin and Melliandra will be arriving shortly, so let’s head inside and gather.”
The three nodded and followed her into the hotel lobby.
As they walked, Euna glanced at Freya and asked, “Freya, what about Leon? Is he coming today?”
“Yeah, Freya,” Booyoung chimed in. “Where’s my brother? Is he joining us or not?”
Freya turned her head, her expression softening into a slightly wry smile. “I’m sure London can help answer that question.”
London chuckled quietly as they continued moving, his tone playful as he looked at the two siblings.
“Let’s not bother the king too much,” he said, giving them a sly wink.
