Chapter 2005 - 2006: Eradicating the Sha Palace (Part 1)
Chapter 2005: Chapter 2006: Eradicating the Sha Palace (Part 1)
When Hua Wuyu and the many experts from Emperor’s Palace and Profound Ming Tomb passed through the Space-Time Passage to arrive above the Tian Sha Palace, the scene before them left them speechless.
The once grand and towering giant palace was now shattered. Countless debris floated in the air, forming a large, chaotic vortex.
But this was not what shocked them the most. What truly stunned them, even eliciting fear, were the enormous stone pillars standing before the vortex.
These stone pillars were clearly materials from the palace itself, crafted from extremely hard crystal stone, yet they had been forcefully extracted and somehow fixed in the void.
Embedded in these stone pillars were corpses.
That’s right!
Literally embedded.
The bodies had been smashed into the pillars by an indescribable force.
The corpses were twisted and contorted, some faces still holding the fear of their last moments.
Most crucially, there were so many bodies that every pillar was embedded densely, a glance revealing a grotesque and terrifying sight.
Such a bizarre and bloody scene made many people gasp in shock.
"What... what is going on?" someone asked, their voice trembling.
The strategist from Emperor’s Palace stepped forward, flew close to the pillars, and after scrutinizing for a moment, spoke with a heavy tone, "These are people from Tian Sha Palace! They have been slaughtered!"
"How... how is this possible!" someone exclaimed incredulously.
"Indeed, even though Tian Sha Palace has declined in recent years, it is still a prominent force in the void. How could it be butchered so easily?"
The strategist from Emperor’s Palace remained silent, merely pointing to a pillar larger than the others not far ahead.
"I don’t want to believe it’s true, but look at that!"
Everyone looked in the indicated direction and froze.
Because on that pillar, nailed was an elderly man in fine attire.
The old man’s face was contorted, limbs twisted, hollow eyes staring ahead, mouth agape, clearly having suffered enormous pain before dying.
"That’s... that’s the Great Elder of Tian Sha Palace!" someone cried.
This led to an intense commotion among the crowd.
For the Great Elder of Tian Sha Palace was an Immortal King Level expert, a significant identity in the depths of the Starry Sea.
Yet now, he was slaughtered like a pig or dog.
Not only him; next to the Great Elder, the once arrogant and dismissive Shen Shi was also nailed to the pillar.
There was a round hole through his forehead, making his once handsome face eerie and horrifying.
Silence fell over the void.
Hua Wuyu and others who rushed here were all silent.
They had found traces of Xue An before that blue supergiant star but were empty-handed when they arrived.
They assumed tracking Xue An would be increasingly challenging, but before dispersing, Hua Wuyu, the Palace Master of Qianhe Palace, again detected Xue An’s aura.
Ecstatic, she shared the news eagerly, rallying everyone aggressively.
But upon arrival, not only was Xue An nowhere to be found, they were greeted by this bloody scene.
"Isn’t Xue An always claiming to be a righteous person? Why is his action this time so ruthless and heartless?" someone whispered, pale-faced.
"Simply put, he’s demonstrating to us through this method!" the strategist from Emperor’s Palace said, eyes uncertain.
"Demonstrating?" The crowd was puzzled.
"That’s right! Demonstrating!" the strategist from Emperor’s Palace said mildly. "He always knew we were trailing him, but he didn’t care. Instead, he slaughtered Tian Sha Palace thoroughly! This signifies..."
Fear flickered in the Emperor’s strategist’s eyes.
"This signifies that after reincarnating and retraining, Red Lotus Immortal Venerable has evidently altered his approach. No longer restrained, he uses iron-fist tactics to intimidate everyone!"
"He wants to use this method to tell those who betrayed him that he has returned!"
The strategist’s words left everyone speechless.
Some were staring, dazed, at the blood-infested forest, muttering, "God, what kind of demon are we up against?"
Just then, Hua Wuyu suddenly spoke firmly, "No, he’s more terrifying than a demon! We must kill him before he twists our necks, or..."
"It will be us who die!"
Hundreds of disciples from Tian Sha Palace were killed, the Great Elder was nailed to a stone pillar. Such shocking news spread swiftly across the depths of Starry Sea and The Multiverse.
Everyone who heard was dumbfounded.
"How is it possible? It’s a prominent force in the void, and it was wiped out just like that?"
"The key is, Xue An usually didn’t act so harshly. This time he’s so ruthless, he’s clearly been utterly enraged. Now, The Multiverse is set for a bloodstorm!" someone lamented.
In short, the entire Multiverse was in an uproar, but those most frightened upon hearing this news were naturally those who used to be Xue An’s followers.
"What is Xue An up to? He was always magnanimous; even if you made mistakes, he would give you a path if you sincerely repented. How could he be so brutal now!" someone screamed hysterically.
"Hundreds of lives... that is hundreds of lives! And I heard he didn’t even spare the new apprentices. Xue An has changed; before, he only punished the chief culprits, never the followers!"
Someone muttered, pale-faced.
Many who once sided with Xue An and later betrayed him hid in corners of The Multiverse, cautiously observing the developing situation.
But as The Multiverse faced this threat, Xue An disappeared again.
Vanished completely, leaving not a single trace.
Facing Xue An’s elusive tactics, Hua Wuyu, who initially had full confidence in capturing Xue An with disciple Fu Nianzhi’s cursed aura, was now utterly despondent.
As for Emperor’s Palace and Profound Ming Tomb and other sects, though silent outwardly, they felt heavily weighed inside.
As if something terrible was about to unfold.
