Chapter 705: I Predicted Your Prediction
Chapter 705: 705: I Predicted Your Prediction
“Sanctified Battle Hymn!”
Xinala’s expression darkened. The eight-winged Seraph moved swiftly, shouting as golden armor shimmered into existence around each of the pseudo-gods.
A massive shield bar appeared beneath each health bar. Just that one cast made most Forbidden Curses look laughable in comparison.
The S-rank spell Sanctified Battle Hymn granted powerful shielding, not only providing high damage reduction but also applying a barrier equal to 50% of each target’s max HP.
“Wood Spirit King! Cast healing!”
Even with divine-tier support from awakened light magic, Xinala didn’t dare let her guard down.
Because what they were facing was not a magic barrage, but a cataclysm.
Even a true god caught in it would likely perish.
A tree-like elder waved his staff, and vibrant green light surged forth. All pseudo-gods received the Song of Life buff, granting massive healing and lifesteal under damage.
“Sakan! Go!”
Xinala barked the order once more. Despite all of them being divine weapons, there were still ranks among them. Xinala’s right to command made it clear she stood at the top.
“You think wielding a divine relic means you’re untouchable? Pathetic!”
Sakan grinned coldly, raising his Bane of Demons Artifact blade as he charged forward.
“Warning: You’ve been marked by the Lord of Hell, Sakan — Bane.”
“Warning: If struck by Bane of Demons, invincibility from divine artifacts will be removed!”
Orson’s gaze flicked over the notifications. This Artifact was unique — it didn’t boost damage, but it could nullify invulnerability effects.
His Queen of the Elves Statue, though a top-tier life-saving artifact, wasn’t of The Divine Item class, and thus was vulnerable to Bane’s effect.
Sakan raised the sword and unleashed a black shockwave that ripped open the land as it barreled toward Orson.
Orson’s face remained calm. He unfurled his elf wings and dodged, letting the slash pass dangerously close.
But Sakan’s legs kicked downward like a missile, launching him into the air with explosive speed. Dark wings flared behind him, far faster than Orson’s evasive flight.
“You think you can judge us?”
Sakan laughed madly, looking down as his blade lit with sinister energy. Space itself cracked and screamed around him.
“Die!”
Hellfire burned in Sakan’s eyes. His massive body surged with brutal strength as he swung again.
“You? Hell Lord?”
Orson’s eyes narrowed coldly. He raised his hand and hurled a Hurricane Spear. Sakan smirked and casually swatted it away with Bane of Demons.
With the buffs from Xinala and the Wood Spirit King, the warrior-class Sakan was a juggernaut. A-rank magic couldn’t hope to pierce his defenses.
“No matter how arrogant you are, boy, you can’t escape me!” Sakan roared.
He charged forward—but just as he was about to close the gap, something strange happened.
Orson’s mouth curled into a grin. A swirl of chaotic energy gathered.
And Sakan’s face suddenly twisted in disbelief—because standing in front of him now was a face he knew all too well.
“Narlicom?!”
The Demon Prince. Sakan’s most beloved son.
Slain by Usher.
And yet, here he was—vivid, lifelike, staring him down.
Sakan’s world shook. He couldn’t tell dream from reality.
“Chaos Illusion!” Xinala cried out in alarm.
“You cursed bastard—!”
Sakan snapped back to reality, but it was already too late.
With top-tier combatants, a second’s delay meant death.
Orson’s face shifted back to normal. He raised his fingers, and a beam of holy light slammed straight into Sakan’s forehead.
A-rank Light Magic — Soul Brand.
Effect: Holy light erupts from within, dealing 4x attack damage to all enemies within 100 meters. Also applies Light Brand, which disables shield effects and locks onto the target’s soul, tracking their position. Increases the chance of Cripple, Fatal, and Deadly Strikes. Cooldown: 2 minutes.
+10% Cripple chance
+5% Fatal hit chance
+1% Deadly hit chance
Light flashed in Orson’s ears. A volley of Hurricane Spears homed in, guided by his Mirror of Folding.
At 5x velocity, even a God-level entity couldn’t react in time.
Boom boom boom!
In the blink of an eye, Sakan was smashed into the ground, blood spraying from his mouth. Nine Hurricane Spears converged, blasting a massive hole through his chest.
Demon Skin Damage Reduction!
Demon Skin Damage Reduction!
Deadly Hit -130 million!
Orson frowned—he hadn’t managed to kill the brute.
Awakened: Judgment Flame!
He raised a finger. A black star shot out, drawing in everything nearby with immense suction.
He intended to drag Sakan away from the others and finish him off.
But to his surprise, Sakan didn’t even move.
He looked like a petrified demon statue, slumped on the ground.
“Not bad for a God-adventurer hybrid,” Orson muttered.
He saw the truth—Sakan’s passive damage reduction had saved his life.
Not only could he break invincibility, but he was immune to most crowd control and had both monstrous health and damage.
If not for the weakened HP scaling in the Awakening Battlefield, this guy would’ve been a serious problem.
Now that Sakan was down, Orson had seized the upper hand.
He gazed down at Xinala. “You’re not getting away.”
Her face twisted in horror as eleven Soul Brands converged on their group, guided by the Wind element.
The pseudo-gods tried to scatter.
But within the Frozen Hell domain, nowhere was safe.
Xinala roared, melting the ice with heavenly fire as she soared upward, trying to land a killing blow just as Orson’s invincibility was ending.
“I predicted your prediction.”
Orson smiled calmly.
Before she could react, a figure bathed in Bright Galaxy light appeared in front of her.
Clang!
Sparks flew. Xinala’s eyes widened in disbelief. That one strike had knocked her back over a hundred meters.
“I will become the mightiest dragon.”
“I will be the strongest beast of the Immortal Lord!”
Aeloria’s crimson eyes now shimmered with starlight. Her black armor had turned a radiant, diamond-like white.
Her obsidian hair flowed like a storm. She looked like a war goddess from the heart of the Bright Galaxy itself.
“Death God…” Xinala muttered in fear.
She had once been an adventurer in the Era of Immortals—she knew all too well what the Death God Dragon Clan was capable of.
Aeloria had devoured Noctherion, the max-level Starforged Dragonkin, from the inside out.
Her power tier broke through quasi-God and reached full God-level.
She now stood above most Death God Dragons in the galaxy, nearly touching the level of the Three Ancient Dragon Gods.
And this… was not her final form.
Orson’s expression remained unchanged.
If these former adventurers dared to call themselves gods—
Then he was the god who ruled over them.
“Believe me. You can’t run. You can’t hide.”
He raised his Supreme Arcane Blade high. Twelve divine domains flared to their limits.
He shone like a blazing star.
Orgod: “Forbidden Magic — Dimensional Collapse!”
Gold Clone: “Forbidden Magic — Dimensional Collapse!”
Royal Clone: “Forbidden Magic — Dimensional Collapse!”
…
The death knells rang.
Mountains, rivers, ancient ruins—everything rose from the ground and surged toward a single point, overwhelming all in their path.
Xinala stared in shock. Her heavenly flames sputtered. The other pseudo-gods looked utterly defeated.
The Love Goddess trembled, tears welling in her eyes. “I… I don’t want to die, Xinala!”
“Heavenly Chorus!”
Xinala snapped out of it, roaring, “Block the assault! Kill all the clones!”
Without Sakan to strip invincibility, she knew they had no way to break Orson’s shield. All they could do was hold the line.
“Dark Cascade!”
“Life Curse!”
Seven pseudo-gods unleashed their full power, casting their ultimate SS-tier skills.
The space of the Lost World trembled violently. If it weren’t for the reinforced laws of Infinite Dimensions, the land would have been torn to shreds by divine fury.
“Die for me!”
Orson’s eyes blazed with murderous resolve.
One final strike to mark the twilight of the gods.
Chaos Fusion.
Blazing Phantom: Divine Curse of the Sky!
His War Supreme Staff spun wildly.
A Chaos Orb, like a planet itself, launched forward—ripping through space.
Sweeping all before it.
Wiping out the gods.
