Infinite Range: The Sniper Mage

Chapter 702: Noctherion

Chapter 702: 702: Noctherion

From the moment Orson stepped onto the Awakening Battlefield and accepted the challenge, he knew there was no turning back.

Now exposed to the gods’ gaze, carrying the will of BlazeKing, and having taken up the mantle of Chaos Sect Leader, he was destined to face endless pursuit.

The fragments of divine artifacts, though priceless, were nothing more than trinkets to him. He had only one goal: kill them all.

“I won’t accept this! I demand a fair fight!” Flame Lord’s eyes burned with fury. Even at death’s door, she hadn’t been able to see her enemy’s face. To die such a frustrating death—it was unbearable for someone who had once ruled as a famed King-level adventurer.

She refused to believe this man deserved the title of War Supreme.

“Weaklings don’t get to negotiate with me.” Orson replied coldly, throwing her words back at her without emotion.

“Flame Burst!”

Flame Lord roared her final defiance, unleashing her strongest SS-grade battle technique.

In an instant, her graceful figure was covered in arcane fire markings. The power of a God-class warrior surged upward once more.

A devastating flame erupted at her feet like a volcano coming to life. Her speed and attack power skyrocketed, turning her into a blazing phoenix diving toward Orson.

From high above on Aeloria’s back, Orson watched her unleash the Forbidden Curse, yet his expression remained cold and impassive.

In his divine domain, no opponent was safe. Even with a Forbidden Curse, even with combat power surpassing that of a God, it didn’t matter.

Under the weight of his firepower, even gods would fall.

He raised a hand. The Supreme Arcane Blade shimmered as he called forth the elemental forces of fire and wind.

“Chaos Fusion: Dance of the Fan-Flame!”

“Chaos Fusion: Dance of the Fan-Flame!”

“Chaos Fusion…”

The skies over the Lost World erupted in a storm of fire dragons. Nearly a hundred of them coiled through the sky, so fierce they could be seen from a thousand miles away.

“Was there really such a powerful Godadventurer in Infinite Dimensions?”

Even the Love Goddess, who had only crossed paths with Orson once, whispered in awe.

She sat within a carriage shaped like a blooming rose, radiating floral beauty and magic—but the scent now carried the sting of fear.

“There was. His name was BlazeKing.”

Xinala turned to the stunned Love Goddess, her tone calm. “He was on the brink of forbidden power. As divine weapons, it’s our duty to stop him from stepping past that line.”

“You mean… he’s close to forming his own Divinity?” The Love Goddess went pale, staring at Xinala in disbelief.

“He surpasses the children of the gods… No, he grows faster and hits harder than any of them.”

Xinala’s gaze darkened with unease.

“Fall, gods,” Orson muttered coldly.

He raised a finger. The sky roared. Dragons made of fire and wind screamed across the heavens.

This was his domain: Supreme Firepower.

For Orson, firepower wasn’t just strength—it was truth. If one Dance of the Fan-Flame wasn’t enough, what about ten?

He had mastered the fusion of two A-grade Awakening spells. Though the success rate was only about 50%, with no cast time and no cooldowns, that limitation was meaningless.

Quantity became quality.

Dance of the Fan-Flame x10.

Ninety-nine dragons roared as one, descending like the apocalypse.

The world turned crimson before Flame Lord’s eyes. Her own brilliance now felt like a flicker beneath a blazing sun.

She could only see the small figure hovering in the far sky, a silhouette she couldn’t even clearly make out.

Her pride as a ruler was erased in an instant.

The wind howled. The earth trembled. Trees and grass turned to dust. All that remained on the scorched ground were shimmering patches of glass formed under searing heat.

Flame Lord knelt, sword in one hand. Her armor still gleamed, but the arm holding her blade had become exposed bone.

Her once-beautiful eyes were now empty sockets. Flesh gone. A pink skeleton was all that remained.

The false god had fallen.

“You have slain Flame Lord!”

“You gained 42.1 billion EXP!”

“Your level has increased to 112!”

“Your level has increased to 113!”

The system announcements rang out. With such a huge EXP pool, Orson leveled up twice instantly.

He wasn’t surprised. These God-modified beings were ancient monsters. Their EXP far surpassed even God-tier monsters or high-level Heaven Demons.

He was now just 7 levels from the cap at 120. Once he hit it, his Super God-grade Soul Seal would reach divine proficiency.

At the same time, his combined Heavenly Spirit Soul Seal would finally evolve into his personal Divinity.

Critical Hit: -1.2 billion!

A massive damage number popped up. Orson raised an eyebrow.

“This guy’s not dead?”

Divine Domain!

Magic disruption. Wounds reversed.

HP +1.2 billion!

A system alert followed. Moon Sovereign, who should have been obliterated by the firestorm, now floated within a soft celestial glow.

Roar!!

A dragon’s bellow echoed across the sky, as if from another dimension.

From the ashes, a colossal creature rose, shaking off debris and letting out a thunderous roar.

Orson’s eyes went wide. “That unicorn…?”

The once-noble Vilitian beast had transformed. It towered skyward, with a long, slender neck and two pairs of shimmering silver wings. A horn over a hundred meters long jutted from its head.

Its form was something between a Death God Dragon and an Infinite Dimensions dragon. Its sheer size rivaled even the Lord of the Underworld, Draconis.

[Starforged Dragonkin: Noctherion — Level 120]

[God-class Beast]

[HP: 3.15 billion]

[Attack: 150,000]

[Crit Rate: 100%]

[Skills: Triple Morph Inheritance, Stellar Arts]

[Divine Domain: Mana Collapse]

[Effect: For 30 minutes, all magical attacks are absorbed for its master.]

Orson’s jaw tightened. He’d heard of these Vilitian beings from Endless Rift. They were born divine weapons, like the Phoenix clans, but incredibly rare.

The gods had even used them as inspiration to create the Death God Dragon Clan and other celestial dragons.

Unlike other divine weapons tied to Earth’s Infinite Dimensions, Moon Sovereign had spent centuries fighting across the galaxy. This legendary Starforged dragon was a reward from the gods themselves.

Noctherion: “Human. You defile the gods. Cease your wickedness.”

The great beast flared its wings, illuminating the sky with galactic light. Stars spun around its massive frame, radiating divine majesty.

Aeloria’s crimson eyes locked on it. In the emotions she transmitted to Orson, there was confusion… and something more.

Excitement.

Her primal instincts screamed for battle. She had finally found a worthy opponent.

“I want to eat her! I want to eat her… eat! EAT!”

Aeloria’s voice howled in Orson’s mind.

He sighed and smacked her on the head with his arcane blade. “Chill out, damn lizard.”

“Wickedness? Killing me makes it righteous?”

Orson sneered. This beast’s stat sheet was outrageous. Far more dangerous than Moon Sovereign.

Especially that Domain—Mana Collapse. A nightmare for any mage.

Noctherion: “I enter the battlefield in dragon form. I’ve already broken divine law. The Moon Sovereign has surrendered. Let him go.”

The dragon lifted its glowing eyes to the heavens, almost as if begging the gods for mercy.

A celestial barrier enveloped Moon Sovereign, freezing time within. His bloodied figure was stuck mid-expression—pure despair. His HP: locked at under 3 million.

Noctherion grabbed the fallen warrior, prepared to leave the battlefield without another word.

As if Orson didn’t exist.

“You’re really gonna ignore me?” Orson said suddenly.

Noctherion turned its neck slowly, condescending eyes narrowing. “Human. Do you think you have a say? Your spells do not work on me. You have no right to speak.”

“Me? No right?”

Orson chuckled. Noctherion continued coldly: “Am I wrong? This is an insect battle. The stars do not interfere with bugs.”

“Right. Totally.”

Orson rubbed his forehead and laughed. His eyes turned sharp. “Yeah, you’re thick-skinned and tough to kill. Pain in the ass. But I’ve got someone here who’s got a few words just for you.”

“Death God Dragon Clan? Ha! What a cosmic joke.”

Noctherion scoffed, not even sparing Aeloria a glance as it began lifting into the sky.

Orson clicked his tongue. “She seems a little offended. I’ll let her handle it.”

Aeloria’s teeth ground together hard enough to crack. With a furious twist of her body, she flung Orson off her back.

Her roar split the heavens.

“You bastard!! I’ll kill you, you overgrown bug!”
