Infinite Range: The Sniper Mage

Chapter 692: So This... Is the Power of a God

Chapter 692: 692: So This… Is the Power of a God

Fusion failed!

Fusion failed again!

The light of the six elemental gods dimmed and then flared back to life, fading and recombining in an endless cycle—again and again, over and over.

It wasn’t just Zorro and the other alien adventurers who stood there slack-jawed—even Orson’s closest allies, Bradley and Madman, stared wide-eyed.

“Skill activation failed? Wait… hold up. You can fail and still cast it again?” Bradley was completely baffled.

“What kind of shameless law is that? It suits him too well!”

Madman chuckled bitterly, shaking his head. That little freak was straight up abusing the system.

No cooldowns? Sure.

But simultaneously casting six different A-rank elemental awakening skills?

Even if someone had three heads and six arms, there’s no way they could pull this off with such ridiculous speed.

Fusion failed again…

Still not working?

Orson grit his teeth.

Screw it.

If the odds are trash, then he’d fight chaos itself until it bent to his will!

“Again!”

With a low shout, a kaleidoscope of colors swirled around him once more.

The six elemental gods—emotionless magical engines—kept channeling their light, relentless, tireless.

A terrifying aura spread across the Abyss, surging from Crylassa all the way to the peak of the Ninth City.

“Zorro’s casting a Forbidden Curse?! No—wait, someone else’s elemental pressure is stronger than his!”

“Six elements… six elemental types are merging!”

“This is insane! Even the strongest mages from my clan only ever managed three! He’s fusing six base elements?!”

The top-tier elites in the Watcher Cities were all shaken to the core.

Even the Grey Watchers, the highest existences, had never unleashed a magical tide like this.

An endless elemental surge poured toward Crylassa. Adventurers inside the city went pale, instinctively looking up at the storm’s origin.

Zorro’s hands trembled around his staff. He couldn’t hold it in anymore and let out a furious, frightened roar.

A Divine Realm user—this was completely beyond his understanding.

Even in his own Infinite Dimensions world within the Galaxy’s central zone, there were only a handful of people who’d ever touched that domain.

And none had ever succeeded.

Most wasted their entire lives just trying to get there… only to eventually be transformed into divine weapons by the gods themselves.

Why?

Because it was just that hard.

A single step from King to God demanded more than a billion Heaven Demon merits.

To put it in perspective: even if a lone adventurer wiped out all Heaven Demons in an entire small Infinite Dimensions world, they’d still barely scrape together that kind of merit.

“Did he seriously destroy an entire Heaven Demon world? That’s impossible. The Earth Infinite Dimensions has barely even been around for a year!”

Zorro’s mind was racing. He looked toward the blinding light still gathering—and growing stronger each time.

For the first time in his life, he doubted his so-called invincible Forbidden Curse.

He shook his head in disbelief, threw away any sense of pride, and bellowed toward the sea witch army, “Focus fire! Kill him!!”

On the backs of every Kraken, a team of 300 adventurers operated their magical weaponry.

None of them dared slack off.

Ballistae and magic cannons glowed ominously as they all locked onto the eye of the storm.

Crash—

At that moment, a ghostly figure ripped through the Domain of Darkwater. Her eyes glowed blood-red, her presence chilling to the bone.

“For my master—Immortality!”

ROAR!!

Aeloria suddenly transformed into her dragon form.

Her wings tilted like massive blades, slicing clean through the body of a Kraken.

SHHK!

A wailing cry echoed through Crylassa as the sea monster shrieked. The adventurers on its back screamed in panic.

“Holy sh*t—straight up melee dismemberment? Aeloria’s savage!” Bradley cursed.

Half the Kraken’s head had been cleaved clean off.

Blood gushed wildly from the wound, a gruesome fountain.

Death Dragon’s Breath.

Without mercy, Aeloria whipped her head, unleashing a blast of black flames that engulfed the wounded Kraken.

Dead.

Before anyone could react, she surged forward again.

With monstrous strength, she grabbed another Kraken and flung it straight into the middle of Bradley’s group.

A burst of skill effects exploded on contact, instantly wiping out its two hundred million HP bar.

Mabubu stared in disbelief.

“By the Sea Gods—no, by the Earth Gods! That beast actually knows tactics?!”

The Ignarion adventurers were stunned.

But those closest to Aeloria? They just smiled bitterly.

What did you expect?

You think she could’ve become that guy’s battle beast without at least 800 IQ?

Aeloria pushed forward, unstoppable.

The sea witch army was forced to shift targets. But whether up close or from range, they couldn’t touch her.

Her absurd HP, towering defenses, and shape-shifting abilities made her practically untouchable.

The Kraken army may have had firepower, but they were nowhere near her level. They couldn’t land a solid hit, let alone stop her.

She darted past Zorro like a shadow.

He froze, stunned she didn’t strike him down.

Then she stabbed a bone sword straight into the eye of a Saint Lord-Class Kraken, turned, and glanced at him coldly.

“You’re just my master’s lab rat.”

Zorro stood paralyzed, the words cutting deeper than any blade.

It would’ve hurt less if she’d just killed him outright.

Fusion successful!

Success rate for six-element A-rank magic increased!

Suddenly, a system prompt popped into Orson’s ear.

He cursed under his breath, “Finally!”

It had taken 27 failed attempts and some good ol’ bug abuse, but he’d finally struck gold.

“Earth doesn’t need gods watching over it.

Earth belongs… to us!”

Orson threw his head back and let out a powerful roar.

Every “defected” adventurer focused their gaze on him.

In that moment, it felt like all of existence had fallen silent.

Only he remained, eternal and unshakable.

“Damn it. My hands are sweating like crazy. I swear, if he messes this up even slightly, we’re going down with him.”

Madman’s face twisted. He abandoned the coins he was stuffing into his bag and turned his dragon mount around, flying toward Drunken Dream’s shield.

“Wait for me—I’m coming too!”

Bradley followed right after.

Usher frowned and exchanged a glance with Wedge.

They might’ve been in the same squad, but they’d all been burned too many times by that guy.

They were legit scared he’d forget they existed and nuke them all by accident.

One by one, they regrouped—just in case.

“Can I… curse out loud right now?”

Drunken Dream almost spat blood. Everyone had suddenly decided his shield was the safest place to be.

Madman snickered. “You’re our noble Silver Dragon Knight King! Your wall’s tougher than steel, solid as a rock!”

Bradley chimed in, “True that, true that! Show us your knightly spirit! For glory, charge!”

“You guys are filthy!

Drunken Dream finally cracked.

These bastards spent the entire journey complaining about how slow and squishy he was as a tank.

Now that Orgod looked ready to tear the world apart, they suddenly remembered he existed?

Still, none of them really expected Drunken Dream to tank it all himself.

The two Dragon Kings spread their wings and formed a front-line defense.

Denoka cast Dragon Curse buffs, and the whole group formed a fan-shaped shield wall to hold off the oncoming water-type Forbidden Curse.

“Chaos Fusion.”

Orson’s smile was calm as ever.

Thanks to the Saryantos bloodline, he was immune to the suffocation effect of water-type Forbidden Curses.

He stood firm within the spell’s heart, taking damage without flinching.

Fwoosh—

A stream of dark-gold light flowed from the Supreme Arcane Blade, which rose and spun in the air, scattering streaks of shimmering Galaxy Light.

The six elemental gods raised their right hands in unison.

Their respective magic spells condensed down into six flawless gems, orbiting around the divine Dragon Crystal at the blade’s tip.

It slowly began to rotate.

The sight left everyone speechless—like this man was holding up an entire star system.

“From chaos, creation begins.”

“Infernal Convergence: Godfire Spell!”

Orson’s voice was clear and ethereal, sending chills down every spine.

Bradley slapped his thigh. “Holy sh*t, did Orson just… come up with a badass spell name?!”

Everyone looked at him, confused.

Bradley muttered, “That skill name is way too cool. Doesn’t match Orson’s usual naming style at all…”

Orson watched the elemental stones orbit the Dragon Crystal.

For a second, he felt like he had grasped the very laws of divinity.

The sensation was stronger than ever before.

He couldn’t help but whisper, “Beautiful.”

With a serene expression, he opened his hand slightly.

Magic Dragon Curse: Unleash.

The six elemental stones expanded to massive size.

Their light was so blinding that no one could keep their eyes open.

Even so, they could see it—

The water-type Forbidden Curse was unraveling at an incredible speed.

BOOM!!

A thunderous explosion rocked the land.

Elemental shockwaves tore through the battlefield.

Quarla and Velorith were both blasted backward, their faces pale with horror.

That spell…

It had absolutely reached the level of a dragon-class Forbidden Curse.

The six elemental stones disintegrated everything—sea monsters, high-level spells—shattering them in a strange, effortless way.

Zorro stared up at it all.

For the first time, there was peace on his face.

With a trembling voice, he said,

“So this… is the power of a god.”
